Nice ruth, except I think I will pass on the 'jump in ocean' part - too many shark recent sightings in knee deep water. Eek, think there were some in NC where I will be in a few weeks! Oh well, yes, live life.

Left NJ today now in MD for a few days then on to NC for a\ month. Not much exercise until I get my bearings.

Hello friends, had a 40 minute walk around the neighborhood and lake tonight. Here in Maryland the weather is glorious which doesn't always last (often muggy)

Nats fan, I was sorry about your difficulties but did smile at the thought of Mikey on the chair!

    Happy weekend all!

I can barely keep up with posts, you all exercise too much lol. Did my share today: 5k run/walk setting my new record 46min45sec and very aware that I have to run safely as Arimidex has given me the gift of osteoporosis. Nice weekend everyone! Hope you are doing better Cheryl 💐

Oh Mary, what a drag to go through that flooding palaver and super good on getting back on the running beam!

Thanks for the well wishes on the filming. There was one minor off timing in the first track that I quickly rectified and placed that understanding in the comments. The women who were part of it liked it . Felt flat and unsure/vulnerable - "not good enough" afterwards, yet that is me and old "interior" stuff I'm working on. My girlfriend who shot the film - who is a BB inst. said it was good for an old trout, and complimented me on technique and said it looked like a pass to her. Uploading it to the Les Mills site was a hassle and after 4 failed attempts, DH will hand deliver to LM offices in London on Monday my usb stick of the filming. I hope to pass and if not, part of my onwards journey. Cheryl, I did not get tickets to the London event - darn!

I'm off to fly the states alone on Monday morning, meeting up with friends in Atlanta for a week. I've ordered gluten free meals for the flights - a first and should be interesting. Anyway, have a super weekend everyone and Littleblue a special wave to you across this crazy planet. HeidiHill, a hug to you my euro twin. Go Claire!

Freestyle step yesterday, down day today and yoga tomorrow morning.

Have fun, Lilac. Prepare to be hot, hot, hot!

I am going downstairs as soon as I am done typing this & get in a little toning. Then we are off to South Dakota for a family reunion (DH's family, and he has 5 sisters so I am not in charge of anything....whoo hoo!).

    Hi,

Today I doubled and did an hour long group weight lifting class called Group Power followed by a 50 minute spin class. I start radiation on 7/6 and hope to be able to keep up with some workouts while I go through that....

    Cheers!

Wow, yes, a lot of activity going on. I just caught up after not checking in this week. Too busy once again, and only got in one 30 minute walk during the week. Today I mowed for an hour, so Sunday through Saturday I'm up to 3 hours of activity even though I didn't spread it out much.

Ginger, I'm glad to hear you tolerated the bike! Odie congrats on your award. I think we could nominate Cheryl too, for being injured and still going to several classes!

Welcome back, Natsfan. Oh my you had some bad luck with that water heater. I know when we got water in our basement and it ruined several boxes, overall it was stuff I didn't really need. In fact, most of it I didn't even remember. A lot had been moved from the last house and never unpacked. It taught me two things, I don't need stuff and don't need to be a pack rat, and 2, anything that is valuable, put in a rubbermaid tote! The hardest thing for me to throw out was my Laura Ingalls Wilder books that my brothers gave me and I read cover to cover probably 20 or more times.

Lilac, whatever doubts you are having, you are doing it, and I admire that. I've been working on conjuring that spirit in myself. Have fun on your trip, and heck, I didn't realize they had gluten free pretzels available. (LOL, that's all we ever get on a flight, a diet coke and a pack of pretzels).

Ruth, love that saying. That should definitely be reposted.

Lilac I can assure your doubts are very normal, I have done filming with instructors who are filming to become Elites and they were full of doubts and they teach week in and week out so breathe all will be fine Hug enjoy your time in Atlanta. Badger that is too funny about waiting until after your trip to see the movie. Ginger glad your hip is on the mend. Dunesleeper glad you've given yourself the rest, take it when you need it.

I am feeling much better, right side sciatica nerve is still a little sore but nothing bad enough to hold me back. This morning did 30 minute Grit Cardio, then 30 minute Body Pump Express followed by a Body Combat class and I will confess my arms/shoulders were feeling like pretzels, then came Zumba - the teacher is a girl we really like to dance with but the minute she started waving her arms around I was like 'nope my body can do no more' so I picked up my bag and leftHappy

Cheryl, thank you and your comments helped. I feel at such a disadvantage not having experience as almost all on my training held other LM qualifications i.g. fitness magic carries over. I feel totally deficient regarding fitness magic. Thanks TwoHobbies and for all we have been through, I think, why not push out and stretch beyond the comfort zone. Body balance/flow has helped bring back with all that went missing via surgery than anything else I've physically done. I feel strongly that this is a terrific way for women and men like us to work it back.

Yoga this morning with hip openers and I needed that. Sunday lunch and then later in the afternoon, DH is taking me to the Sheraton at Heathrow to spend the night, to by pass a 4am drive down the M25 and back for him (and then his going onto work). Yes TH, gluten free pretzels or extra peanuts?

Have a wonderful, active week ahead everyone!

See you next in (sort of) the same time zone!

Catching up after a busy weekend. Big shout out to all the newcomers. Every movement counts as it is better than inactivity!

Nice to see Cheryl is feeling better and continuing to set the bar high..LOL

Lilacblue, I am certain you are your own worst critic and bet you passed easily. Safe travels this week.

Patoo, you are continuing to get closer to your final destination.

Ginger, congrats on getting out on the bike.

Badger, I would be curious to hear what you thought of the movie too please.

Exercise for me this weekend consisted of a nice walk Friday on the grounds where my nephew was getting married. Saturday was running errands plus vacuuming and dusting. Today was scrubbing baseboards, laundry, and weeding the garden.

    Night all!

Did Body Step class this morning.

Finally, getting in a bit of relaxing time after a weekend of work and cycling. Forget the work. The trail they  were building here in Redmond is now open and with new docks for swimming in Lake Sammamish. I tested this yesterday post ride and with my cycling clothes. The crowd was cool with this. As overall hot here right now, a major life upgrade. Water was fab, and fun to take a dip post ride. (I can now cycle there after work, so a nice summer exercise change-up.)

Today, I got up at the crack of dawn and drove 80 miles to do an amazing ride. I screwed up, so ended up with 77 miles and not 69. I could have done 100. It was cooler and fortunately, I missed the storms with lightning. I feel fine now, but getting in the protein I need for a good recovery.

I saw osprey nests, amazing vistas, towns I didn't know, and the Mima Mounds. Mostly empty roads, so a pleasure to cycle. Will post pix when I get a chance.

    My dinner beckons.... - Claire

Welcome back, Mary! Looking forward to your animal sightings. Great shot, Claire, and love your new trail.  Woohoo on your hip, Ginger. ksb, fantastic start with your iphone, keep it up,  Have a good trip to Atlanta, LB.

Did some biking yesterday along a lake. So many people, I could barely get through in parts. Next time I'll rent a rowboat.

It poured all day Saturday, so we got in a full day of Unpack N Sculpt - the place is finally beginning to look like a real home. Yesterday was beautiful, so I did a 3 mile run, then we drove to a furniture place out in Virginia to look at some china closets to replace the ones that were ruined, then came back and puttered in our little patio garden. Grilled some lemon pepper chicken and asparagus for dinner and sat outside til dark. It's good to be home!

Mary glad you are now "home" and can enjoy. Can't wait until I can get there as well - in about 6 weeks.

Cheryl, yes, will be at the beach for a week in July (NC) and a week in August (SC) and will only venture ankle deep. They don't have sharks that small do they? Can't believe the kids were only waist deep and got bitten. Guessing if the sharks were any larger then the bites may have been fatal.

My sister found an exercise video, Cardio Walk, On demand TV, so did that this morning. Then ran a few errands.
