    Lita, lovely photo of your tea! May the Lord continue to give you His words to say and may He open eyes to see and ears to hear His message through you. What a blessed opportunity to speak - wish I was there.

    Nancy I have been there with the infected cyst thing! OH MAN do they hurt! Had the first one at age 15 BESIDE MY NOSE and had it removed FOUR times - not counting the series of 6 cortizone shots in it first that didn't work. Had many more too unfortunately. They want you on the antibiotics, for it to shrink as much as possible before they remove it. I have a TOPICAL antibiotic that works miracles when I begin to get an infection. It is amazing - wish I'd had it years/decades ago. It is called CLINDAMYCIN PHOSPHATE and BENZOYL PEROXIDE GEL 1%*/5%. By prescription - but being topical it wouldn't affect your gastrointestinal situation. (It is expensive but you only use a dab - and then you have it for any other infection coming on)

    Also, Nancy thank you for posting the Hosannah song - SO beautiful!

    Thank you Ade. I am on the oral version of Clydamycin and not sure how this is going to work. I was familiar with the name but don't know if I have had it before. I have had trouble with some AB in the past. Not feeling great today so just hanging out in my Lazy Boy. It is not as painful as it was but I am bracing myself for a repeat procedure on Wed. I got very sick right after the painful procedure. My insurance is so strict in their meds allowed I can imagine that they would not cover the ointment since they are so many things they don't cover. I have had some ointment in the past and it was sooooooooo expensive. Now that I think of it I am wondering if that is what it was because it was for a skin issue. I'll have to see if I can find that. Thanks for the info.

    Hope I have not repeated any of these. I should have kept track and I didn't. There are MANY promises in the Word.

    Hope my irises cheer you up. They don't last very long. Onlyou a couple I my yard right now.

    Sending healing prayers to everyone here. Nancy I hope you will be on the mend quickly with these AB. I think I remember you've said in the past that you take probiotics and that's very important when you are on those drugs. I'll be thinking of you on Wednesday when you have the next procedure and we can both pray for each other as I will be having a PET scan that morning.

    It is always good to reread God's promises especially during this holiest week of the year when we remember what He has done for us.

    Lita, I love your daffodils, they are such a hopeful sign of spring. I think of you so often and always pray that God will give you the strength you need to face this trial.

    Thank you for the iris pics, Lita. I love yellow flowers. My daffodils that were all blown to the ground when I returned on Wed night from my mom's I thought were done. Many had not even opened up. Miraculously they are all open and have sprung back up so I am thankful for those blessings which probably don't mean too much to anyone else in the neighborhood but they were God's gift to me. I hope that the Lord gives you a good word to share to your church that will touch lives.

    Faith, I will be praying for your Pet scan on Wed. I can only imagine how nerve wracking that must be waiting for results. I will be praying for good news.

    Thank you for the flower blessings, Lita and the scripture blessings, Nancy. Praying for GOOD news from your scan, Faith.

    A dear friend of ours, Dean, had visited his doctor many times for years about his cough. Doc said he has asthma and sometimes prescribed antibiotics. Said he needed to lose some weight so a surgical procedure was scheduled. Tests were not normal so he was referred to a pulmonologist who ran more tests. Now Dean is scheduled to have half his lung removed on Monday - it is advanced cancer. His wife, Karen, is in remission form uterine cancer. They have no children, only each other. Please pray for them. Thanks.

    Awoke for the day around 4:30 - but had a wonderful morning on the porch listening to a bird song concert and watching the sun come up! God is good!

    Thank you Ade. I didn't get to bed until 2:30 am. I guess if I would have stayed up a little longer I could have watched the sunrise! I was battling some complicated photography things and the time got away from me. I am so sorry to hear about your friend Dean. It is such an unfortunate situation that could have possibly been treated differently if they had caught it earlier. I have prayed for him and pray that his surgery goes well and praying he will have a good outcome with a good treatment plan.

    Faith, I have prayed and thought about you several times today. I sure hope you got good news.

    I had my second visit to urgent care as a post op follow up. I was very nervous after what happened on Sunday. They did have to put more packing in and I have to go back again on Friday. You cannot believe how many medical apts I had before this abscess. I crammed in all of these apts so I could be with my mom for three weeks in May. The PA today gave me a referral for surgery but I am not jumping into that yet. My hand surgeon I have waited for weeks to see for next week called and canceled on me. I can't get in until the following week and that is really with his PA. I think I might get to meet him (for the first time) and if it works like my MO last visit he will see me for 60 seconds and pass me off to his PA. I am NOT happy about that but I am trusting that God is working this all out for the good eventually. It is looking like my Easter weekend will be spent at home watching a TV service as I can't wear a bra at the moment.

    Enjoy the televised services, Nancy. My brother is homebound because of CHF and COPD, so he can't physically attend church either. He's found great comfort in Charles Stanley's services and others on TV.

    Nancy I'm so sorry about all of your appointment ordeals (WOW) and pray the Lord will work it all out for you to His glory. As far as bra-less goes- I STILL can't tolerate a prosthesis bra on the sides where my drains were so I wear a tank or camisole under blouses and a big scarf tied loosely in front or a little jacket. I am completely flat, where you aren't - but the techniques could get you to Easter Sunday service. :o) Be of good cheer, He is with you at home or at church.

    Lita I LOVE Charles Stanley & do his mailed daily devotional as well as one of his book devotionals everyday.

    Thanks Lita and Ade. I have watched many sermons this week. Charles Stanley is very good and did you know photography is one of his hobbies too. I will see how the next few days goes.

    I hope I am not boring you all to death with my orchid pics but I haven't been able to go out shooting with my hand so I am posting more orchid pics from the last time I was out.

    Faith, I am praying for you. I don't know if you have to wait for results or get them immediately but am praying as you have been through so much lately.

    Gorgeous orchid pics, Nancy - so crisp with perfect colors!

    James has the fevers again, this time with serious migraines. I had hoped that we could go to our church's Sedar Supper tonight...but probably won't now. :o(

    We got some VERY much needed rain last night - Thank You Lord! (Maggie wasn't thrilled with the thunder & lightning.)

    Faith, it is SO hard waiting for results. We keep praying for the best, and peace for you.

    Amelia, a little 13 year old pastor's daughter from our little town is having a kidney transplant as I write this. Please pray for her. Thank you!

    Ade, I sure am sorry to hear that James is having these issues again. Prayers for him and for little Amelia. So young to be going through such a serious surgery. Praying for a good outcome for her and that James can get some relief.

    Aurora, I hope you are enjoying your first few days with your mom. I hope you all have a wonderful time together and that you will continue to do well on your treatments.

    Angie, you have been on my heart. Praying for you, your ministry and all the things you have on your plate to deal with in your personal life.

    G, I hope you can check in with us when you feel up to it and let us know how you are doing. I think and pray for you often.

    Jean, praying things are working out with Alexia. I know with your hip surgery coming in May that you too have alot on your plate.

    Other than a bad headache from my new antibiotic they changed me to I am doing okay. I started to see the bills coming in from my first visit to the urgent care and at the end of this week I will have three visits with them. It makes my head hurt even more. LOL

    thanks for asking Nancy. i already uave all the meds they can give me for the reflux and delayed gastric emptying. i will have my 4th ( and most likely last cycle) friday next week with reduced taxotere amd then we will stop. it is supposed to be 6 cycles but my onco fells that i uave a good response and we can stop. i already claimed ad believed that God will heal me. pls say a prayer for me ladies? acts 15:26... for i am the Lord who heals you...have a blesses easter week!

    Ade, so glad Amelia made it through. We will pray things will go smoothly and her body will accept this new kidney.

    Kae, I am glad your medical team is reducing the number of treatments and the dosage. Praying for complete healing and will be praying for your hopefully last treatment next week.

    Praying for all the needs here, and I am most grateful for all your prayers. I'm still waiting to hear the results of my PET scan yesterday and I keep telling myself no news is good news but the waiting is hard. I keep hearing the words "wait for the Lord, His time is near". Easter blessings to everyone as we go through these most holy days of the Tridium.

    Many of you are going through your own personal Good Fridays of feeling like God has let you down. You were possibly expecting one outcome and you got another. However, three days later Jesus was resurrected. He said I AM the resurrection. It is meant for present tense as well as past and future. It is not I will be the resurrection but I AM the resurrection. We have that resurrection power inside of us for those who have Jesus dwelling in our hearts. Does that mean we will all be healed in this life. Of course we know the answer to that. It does mean that we don't have to be stuck in the Good Friday devastation but we know that our Easter is coming both in what Jesus did and what He will do for us when we leave this Earth AND what He is doing now in our hearts. I pray that each one of us can experience that resurrection power in the midst of our storms and realize we are MORE than conquerors through Him who loved us.

    God Bless you dear sisters and hang onto Jesus tight. He is ABLE!!!!!!

    Been in a LOT Of Pain since rads TX. But I know, the more the pain, the closer I am to my Lord during this precious week.

    James' fever hit 103.4 today and I was poised to take him to the emergency room if I couldn't get it lower. I sent out prayer requests and his fever broke...for now. I got him to the doctor who ran cultures on blood & urine (finally). Results next week. He had a COMPLETE battery done through a specialist last year resulting with no diagnosis. Praying these tests will reveal something very treatable.

    Amelia's new kidney is surpassing all expectations and she walked to her new room today! May even go home Monday! Unbelievable isn't it! God is amazing.

    Our third GREAT grandbaby, Brodie, was born in Ohio last night.

    Finally I have to share this gift the Lord put into our sky tonight with you and I pray you all have a beautiful Resurrection Day tomorrow!

    Ade, I am sure glad to hear that James fever broke and hopefully these tests will reveal the source of this sickness.

    Beautiful posters, Ladies, thank you. Joanne I almost broke out in song!

    Had a beautiful service today but missed my guy being by my side both in the music group (He on drums & I on flute) and in the seats. After his fever broke it then shot to 103.4 and he has just had little breaks since. He's on aspirin every 4 hours (which I know is a LOT) but the fever gets too high if we don't. I made him some green jello salad at his request and at least he is eating that besides the crackers he gets with the aspirin. He's surely not out of the woods and this has been sick since Wednesday so continued prayers - especially for a treatable diagnosis this week, are most welcome. Plus I am well beyond my "normal" exhaustion. When I get up in the night to care for him of course I can't resume sleep and it is catching up quickly! I am assuming all his chores besides my own. NOT a complaint - I GLADLY care for him. I'm just running on fumes right now and know you all know what that's like.

    Lita, can't wait to hear about your service today but I know you're probably wiped out so we will wait. I just KNOW the Lord blessed your effort!

    We have a gem & bead show here (A BIG one!) in our little town and I try not to miss it as that's what I do is make jewelry. I knew I had limited energy and had to make it quick to my "supplier" - I'm his 'regular' - but the Lord led me to a display of hand beaded necklaces & earrings first, and the seller and I struck up a conversation. She is dealing with potential breast cancer now after already having skin cancer. The Lord gave me the words and she received peace and encouragement about God's sovereignty and His love for her. She was so thankful she said she 'just HAD to hug me'. I told her she'd be in my prayers. Her name is Rebecca.

    As this Resurrection Sunday comes to an end I pray you all received a blessing today of the assurance of OUR resurrection someday, which is the hope that sustains us everyday through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

My theme: We have joy and hope, even as stage 4 cancer patients, in the face of despair and death, because our Lord is Risen and He has prepared a place for us and paId the price on the cross for all of us, so we may have eternal life thru Him.

    If I have two more years or two more months, it's all good cuz i know where I'm going...home to be with my Lord and Savior for all eternity.

    Ade, praying for both you and James. I am praying that they will be able to find the source of his sickness and praying there will be a solution. You and Joanne could have many conversations as you both make jewelry. I think you lived in Ohio as well didn't you? I know you are in Texas now.

    This week has been an extremely challenging one for me. Because of this abscess I missed all of my church services but I have watched many sermons and uplifting programs. I did get to see my church live streaming on Palm Sunday and Easter.

    On my third apt to urgent care on Friday they gave me some meds for nausea and I had a bad reaction. So this past week started with much pain, then nausea and then hyper because of either a drug reaction or interaction. I have pretty much been home most of this week and going a little crazy. My wound was looking horrible and a bit improved and I have only one more bandage they gave me and I can't imagine going without one at this point. So we'll see. I have a neighbor who comes over and changes the bandage for me. God is teaching me many things during these last months of physical challenges. As one of my favorite teachers from my church says some things we go through are horrible/wonderful times and I think that is the season I have been in for a while. Going deeper with God in suffering. I wish there was an easier way but God knows what He is doing.
