LJ.......I agree with everyone's sentiments, you cannot possibly bring us down. we are here to lift when others don't have the strength. just know that you have been the one lifting us all so many times before. warm and gentle hugs to you my dear. spring is such a wonderful time. keep that in your sights. you will feel the warmth on your face and dance among the flowers soon.
CS.....the contrast tastes, well, yucky. make sure you go for vanilla. it is as close to non-flavor as you can get. just drink it down as quickly as you can. the contrast makes you super warm for a few seconds then a quick scan and it's over. do make sure you stop by the bathroom before leaving the facility, even if you don't think you need to go. it worked/moved pretty quickly for me.

OBXK/Inmate thank you both so much you have eased my mind and I'm all set to go except I've gone down with a cold and sore throat so I hope I don't cough because you have to keep very still. Thank you so much guys. Annie xx

LJ - My very best wishes and prayers will be with you each moment today as you meet with your Oncologist. It has got to be all good.
TifJ - If you can face BC, you can do a mere Job Interview like a piece of cake. I have absolute faith that you will get the job! You go for it! Good Luck!
Suze - How are you doing? Enjoying your warm cuddles and tons of love from your children? Hope you are beginning to feel better. I just know that you will get out of this mode and onto treatments again very soon. You know what you need to do and I am counting on you giving us great news soon.
MBJ - How are you doing? Hoping you are doing well and will be able to type soon. I am dying to hear from you and see what you are up to. Have you started the tamox. yet? I know someone whose cancer had spread to her spine and she had some other "hot spots", but now it is greatly controlled with aridimex, which seems so hopeful to me. Aridimex is working wonders for her. I hope tamox. does the same for you. Sending you love.

Interview is over. I'm not too sure this a good fit for me. It would require I work summer school (the entire month of June), so not sure what to do with the kids. If the school district offers summer school for all students, my kids could do that, but last year it was only available to those students who really needed it. We'll see what happens! Thanks for all the support!

Have I said how much I hate cancer, lately? WELL I HATE CANCER!!!!
I had a PET scan Saturday to follow-up on an inconclusive bone scan from the week before. Well, hell, not only did it show bone mets, but liver and lung mets, too. So....tomorrow afternoon, I am getting a FNA (fine needle aspiration) liver biopsy, and Thursday the MO is starting me on chemo. How hard is abraxane on the veins? Will I end up with another port? Just had the old one removed in Dec. when I had the recon. This is not what I wanted!!!!!! I was looking forward to being able to feel good this summer, Last year was a little tough what with finishing rads in late June and all of that, Ok, I know I am just rambling now, but I think I am still in shock from the news of the day.

Beccad,
I am so sorry to hear this news. That has to be shocking news, particularly disappointing as you have just finished all the treatment and reconstruction. I hate cancer, too. I am not familiar with abraxane, so I can't answer the question about the port. Sending you support and hugs.
