Meadow- sending you hugs and good vibes! I know everything will be okay!
Guys- it's nice to see you support your wives and all of us! Always happy to hear from you!
AG- I'm at DF and was in the trial until they booted me! I'm also young and was 4 months postpardom at DX. Feel free to PM with any questions! I'm sorry your here... Being young with babies and tnbc sucks but treatment isn't as bad as I imagined

AL - I'll make a big effort to post more - can't let you have all these lovely ladies all to yourself! I hope your wife is doing well.
Ag23 - So sorry you are here. My wife is a similar age (34) she was 33 at diagnosis and 15 weeks pregnant. Don't believe half the rubbish you read online about TNBC, there is some seriously poor stuff out there. You made a comment that you were hoping it was one of those 95% survival at 5 year ones - a study published this week comparing different chemo regimes for early T1-2, node negative TNBC had the 5 year survival rate at ~95%. This really isn't the scary beast some parts of the media will have you believe it is. Sending you lots of positive thoughts from across the Atlantic.
Love to you
Tom

Mike that was beautiful. Made me cry. It was so true we do hide our fears and troubles from our family because we don't want them to worry. I am so thankful for every lady and gentleman on here. You all keep me going. Just had another birthday yesterday so hoping there are many more in my life to come yet.

Cocker_Spaniel: Happy belated birthday! *BIG HUGS* to you!

Oh my goodness, so many posts to catch up on and so many new people. Welcome everyone.
Cocker-Happy Belated Bday. I agree with you, each day now is more precious than before. I read your posts and you are so inspiring and help all of us ladies with your wisdom and wit. I hope you had a very special day.
Meadow-my thoughts and prayers are with you. You are such a wonderful lady and have helped me get through this with your wonderful words and guidance. I wish nothing but good news for you!
To our men-I love the fact that you are on here for your wives. They are very lucky ladies to have such amazing support.
To all the new people- I am sorry you are here, but honestly, since my diagnosis, this is the best discussion board I have found and I am honoured to be a part of it. Good luck to you all. My heart and prayers are with you.

Happy Birthday Cocker!! Here's to many more!
Meadow please let us know your results when you here. Praying they will be negative!
To all the newbies, TNBC does sound very scary, but like other's have said, don't google too much because it'll lead you to false and scary info. You can google anything and it only lists the bad things that could be the culprit! Stick with us. We will be here for you and love on you. I'll keep everyone in my prayers. Hang in there! XOXO!!
Also thanks to the men on here as well! Your wives are all blessed to have you and we are too!! XOXOXOXO!!!

Thank you so much ladies. I had a really great day with my family it was so special. As for the ageing well I suppose it had to happen at some stage (if I was lucky) and I am, so I made sure I stuck a smile on my face, all day, even though I feel 102.
I've got to make an appointment for my yearly mammo and I am dragging my feet. Don't know why all of a sudden. At least there is only one to squish.
The blooming cat keeps walking across my key board and changing all my words but he is so gorgeous.
Have a great day ladies, keep well, keep smiling and keep on fighting, you will make it.

Has anyone had problems with eye twitching from taking Taxol/Cytoxan. I just did my 3rd round of chemo two weeks ago and my eyes can't seem to quit twitching and I feel like it has changed my vision some. Thanks all!

lovelifeBR when my wife was getting Taxol I remember the persistent eye twitching was driving her absolutely NUTS!

Ag23-I am so sorry you have to join this group but glad you found us! I am young too and have a 4 year old. You'll find strength you never knew you had, we don't have a choice but to fight! I'm stage II TNBC and am done with AC and sitting in the waiting room for my 5th round of taxol. Chemo is no picnic but it is tolerable! The beginning is a tough and scary time but you can get through this! Ask any questions you have here nothing is off limits. Also if you want check out the Young Survival Coalition boards I have a Fall treatment group started over there and there are some great ladies that helped me in beginning. Hugs to you

Lovelife I also had the eye twitching. It has happened 2 more times post chemo but each time it cleared up faster. How are you doing with everything else?

YAY for Meadow!!! NED.....love that name!
Happy Birthday, Cocker. Hope your feller made you a nice cake.
LRM and Fighter: So very good to see a post from both of you.
And a big hug to all you new gals. I log on every few days or so but rarely post anymore. I am more than 6 years out and NED. Wishing you all the best.
And to our 2 gentlemen that have joined us....Thank you. Your kind thoughts are so very valuable. I loved the article written by the MO. Brought tears to my eyes when I read the part about what the fear does to us when we are alone at night. I remember it well.
Wishing everyone a good weekend.
