    Up one.

But I know why. 2 pieces of pizza and 2 breadsticks on Saturday night. Family birthday dinner out. I remember eating an entire pizza in college. Sigh.

    Off to exercise now. ThumbsUp

Way to go, Pat! Sounds like you have time to get to 150.

Up 300 grams and very definitely will not make my quarterly goal. Well, there's always next quarter before bikini time, also known as crunch time.

Down 2 lbs. Going to a birthday party later this morning. Ole' Sweet Tooth will have to stay home. LOL.

Pat01, nothing like a wedding to inspire you. You will get there. Wish I had another one coming up . . .

Up 1.5 lbs to 134. No special occasions, no fattening meals. Something else must be going on.

131.0 up .2 from last week which is fine.  I'm in the maintenance phase now and would be find adding a couple of pounds.  To stay on or below 135 is my new goal.

Hi all,  I really need some accountability and am happy I found this topic.  I have always struggled with my weight and after breast cancer treatment I can only say it has become much worse.  I don't have the energy to do much exercise and currently trying Weight Watchers but not going to meetings or officially in the program.  I have weighed myself in and will start reporting my progress next week.  I send all of you warm thoughts and positive energy. Welcome, Janice.  I'm a newbie, too and just trying to take things "one step" at a time.  Good luck :)

    Welcome newbies.

I'm still going up.  Exercising hit-or-miss, mostly miss.  Eating could be sooooooooooooo much better.  Beginning to think there's some depression going on.  Not sure why because nothing stressful really happening.  But gonna get to bottom of this one way or another.

Patoo, I think depression may be playing a role with me also. I'm making sure I use the depression lights every day.

I'm hanging in there under 160.  Will have some challenges on Fri. night (dinner out) and Sat. (barbecue with dh's woodworkers' guild).  I'm planning to take a Hungry Girl fake potato salad to the barbecue and maybe some veggies and hummus for snacking.  The fake potato salad uses cauliflower for potatoes and has an interesting flavor ingredient--ranch dressing mix.  Haven't made it before.

The Hungry Girl program on Food Channel has some interesting ideas for making food taste good without the calories and fat.  I record the series and check it out when I get around to it.

Congrats to losers and encouragement to gainers!

Well, here it is March 31, the end of the first quarter of 2014.It's not Wednesday, but I weighed in to see if I was still at my maintenance goal of 120. My weight this morning was 119.7 lbs, so I made it. Sticking with Weight Watchers has helped. I'm still attending monthly to weigh in and go to a meeting. I also track points using their E-Tools on most days.

I'm making  a new personal goal for the 2nd quarter of being down 5 more lbs by my 59th birthday on July 1st.

Good luck on your new goal, Annie!  I'm off to WW this morning to weigh in.  Will report back later.

Annie I hoped to lose 6 lbs this quarter but I lost three instead.  Still I'm actually thrilled with that because weight loss is so sllooooow now. Plus as I said before, I'm at my lowest in 10 years!  So I will say my next quarter goal is 4 pounds.  That would bring me to 123, my high school weight.

TwoHobbies, a 3 lb loss is great and so much better than a 3 lb gain! Yes, weight loss is so much slower for me than it used to be, too. We can't let that bother us, though. I try to remember how a slow, creeping weight gain can add up to a lot of weight before you know it and just being vigilant to prevent that is an accomplishment.

Annie, congrats on maintaining!  Twohobbies, lowest in 10 years is awesome!

Haven't had much success this quarter (up another 300 grams today). Maybe next quarter....It would be great to lose 3 kilos by the third quarter so aim to lose 1.5 kilos by end of June.

Down 0.4 from last Wednesday. I weighed in at 119.4 lbs this morning.

I was down 1.4 lbs on Mon. at ww weigh-in for a total of 9.6 lbs since I went back to ww on Feb. 24.

It hasn't been easy but it certainly is satisfying to see and feel the difference in some of my clothes.  Yesterday I wore a pair of shorts to the gym that fit loosely in the waist.  A month ago I had to suck in to button the waistband.

Congrats to Annie and TwoHobbies and to any others experiencing success in their loss efforts.  And encouragement to all of us.
