Dang Trish!   If seems if it's not one thing then it's another!  Hopefully the Melatonin will kick in soon and you will get an uninterrupted sleep.....maybe up the dose a little and see what happens.

Annette, sometimes the site gets a little slow and we all get sick of waiting for a post to go through so we hit 'submit' again then we get two posts.......been there, done that.....lol.  Don't worry about having to delete, we all get it.  Roll on end November.......and the excitement builds!!!

Tammy, I'm looking forward to catching up again and meeting some of the NZ girls........phew!  What a weekend that's going to be!!!

Thanks girls for the compliments......you all make me blush with your praises!!!!  I was sitting nice and quietly yesterday afternoon when I got a txt message.......oh no!!!  I had forgotten that I had a doctors appointment this afternoon and had to drive to the city!!  Dang, I really don't know how I forgot to put it in my phone!!

Got some bloods done in search of the cause of my fatigue as well as ordering a sleep study........Trish, as you say, if it's not one thing, it's another.  It seems sleeping twelve hours and wanting more, is not normal according to my doc so we are on the hunt......lol.

Home now, tired but safe.......a cup of tea and a sandwich, a little tele and computer time and then it will be off to bed for me.

Take it easy girls!   Love n hugs.   Chrissy

Chrissie, its the new bed!!! It must be so comfortable that you just want to sleep hehe. ( I do hope that you get some answers from the bloods, really).

Trish, I hope that you are feeling better today, you poor thing. Not good, especially when you still have to get up and go to work as well. ((hugs)) xxx

I am off to have my blood test and also my denosumab injection and then off to Adelaide for a couple of days again to look after my little cherubs. Olivia will be 4 tomorrow, so we will be celebrating tomorrow evening, I might even have a lemonade. I will remember the matches this time for the birthday candles, lesson learned.

The weather here is hot and very windy, awful weather with dry thunderstorms on the way. I love the hot weather hehe just not the wind.

    Warm hugs to everyone

hi all just updating after surgery. Went well yesterday. Surgeon actually put in a larger expander than we first thought think they said 400 or 500mls and he filled it with about 300mls. Pain is being controlled well by pain meds. Nurses are doing a good job. Did have moment when i thought "why am i doing this?" the recon bit but i guess that's normal.

We be wishing all you girls could be there too!

I was thinking this afternoon, probably not the best thing.....lol......but we need to think about where for next year.  I was thinking (here we go again with the thinking), that either Canberra or Melbourne........you know, follow the map west so to speak with the little peak for Canberra?  Let me know all what you think so we can start saving for next year.

Just been pottering today, putting a few thing away, sitting for a bit and then organizing a few things in the next burst.....lol.  The cleaner will be here again in the morning and can stay for a couple of hours so that will whip a bit more of this place into shape....lol.

    Take it easy all!

Chrissy take care - good to see you aren't over extending yourself at the moment, that's good!

I like your thinking about next year Smile Canberra would be good for people who haven't been here, it's a beautiful place to visit. I personally hate Melbourne - I know lots of people love it, but it's a city that just leaves me cold. The airport is a long, long way from the city (so expensive to get to and from) and not many cheap transport options available apart from a bus if it still runs.

The shopping is supposed to be good in Melbourne though, but you have to go outside the city to get to it.

I'm happy to go along with what everyone else wants to do though. My preference would be Canberra, Sydney - or maybe Adelaide?

Canberra sounds good and we are still moving west but same as you Trish, I'm happy to go with the consensus.

Just had the cleaner here again and I must say that my house is beginning to look like mine.  She is a lovely woman and is very thorough which I like.I felt so ashamed though, she has a Dyson Vac and boy did it get some dirt and fluff out of my carpets and off the hard floors!  She had to empty it twice!  OMG!!  and I thought it wasn't too bad.......time to ditch my vac I think as it's not quite as efficient as I thought....lol.

    Have a good day all!

Chrissy - clean house sounds lovely lol. Those Dyson vacs are amazing - don't feel bad, everyone I know who bought one were amazed when they first cleaned with it at how much dirt it got up lol.  I've had one for about 12 years now, they are wonderful.

I've had a busy weekend, finishing off processing one wedding, getting ready for another one on Saturday. The pet photography business is starting to explode (lol) with a lot of amazing opportunities presenting themselves. So trying to stay on top of all that.

My reappearance of ses with Aromasin seem to be settling down a bit. Nausea is pretty much gone, and after a sleepless week last week, I slept really well the past three nights, so the world is looking brighter Smile

Yay Trish!  A good sleep is the best!

I'm so glad that the pet photography has 'exploded'!  What I've seen you post on FB looks wonderful and is a great advertisement for you business and extra for Christmas is always good!

Yes, it's really nice to have a clean house and it's given me the kick I needed to clean out a whole lot of other things as well, tame the hoarder so to speak.  There were things that I was hanging onto that I didn't need such as so many extra blankets that someone else could make use of instead of taking up room in my cupboards.  They were perfectly good but just too heavy for me,I have gotten new fleece blankets with the new bed which are warm but as light as air and I'm loving them.

Hopefully by Christmas I will have cleaned out all cupboards and reorganized everything so I'm not having to 'fish' to find things......lol.

Melp, hope you are healing well!

Mandy, hope you are not doing too much (yeah right!)......lol.

Everyone else, hope you are doing well and staying well!

Whooo Hooo Tammy! Have a drink (or three) for me too Smile Congratulations, that's a great anniversary to celebrate.

Chrissy, I spoke too soon. Monday night got about four hours sleep at the most. Was such a frustrating night, I kept getting up and reading and going back to bed to hopefully sleep and it wouldn't happen.  Thank goodness last night I slept well, I was so tired if I hadn't I would be tearing my hair out today lol.

Damn Trish, don't you just hate  nights like that?  For a while there I was doing the same thing and then just giving up all together so many nights there was no sleep at all.  Not what my problem is any more.....lol.....although I still do the same thing every now and then. I don't need to get up to go to work like you do, so I just go with the flow.

Tammy, hope you celebrated well but not so well that you have a headache this morning.....lol.

Not doing much today just going over to Clare to do my usual fortnightly shopping......how boring!......lol......but I must as the fridge is looking very sparse and the pantry also, even the dogs cupboard is a little light on so must keep that one filled.......as for ours, it really wouldn't hurt much is we went without for a couple of days but I'm sure the other half would complain loudly.

    Take it easy all!

Well after three weeks of heavy cleaning, my house now looks more like my house!!!  Yippeeeee!!!  I am so happy with the young woman who has been cleaning for me and she is lovely to boot.  It's so nice to look around and see no dust and things more in there place.........ahhhhh! so nice!

Been really hot here today, that rotten north wind is blowing a gale and is blowing all sorts of crap around my back door.  I did have to stick my nose outside as I needed to go to the hardware store to get a new toilet cistern as the one that is there is constantly running and it's impossible to find parts for it so a new one is needed.  My friend Murray is coming up this weekend and he is a great handyman and has promised to put it in......yay!  I just wish he would visit more often as I sure can find loads of little jobs that need doing.........lol.

Hopefully it will be a little cooler tomorrow and according to the forecast, it is.........from a high of 35 today to 19 tomorrow.......we will see.....lol.

    Have a great day all!

Mel, so glad you are feeling relieved (((hugs))))

Mandy - hope you aren't overdoing things lol - we know how busy you get xoxo

Chrissy - isn't it a lovely feeling to have a lovely clean house. I vaguely remember that feeling lol.

I've been busy, and had to use yesterday to get over it all lol. Friday was my first aid refresher course, and spent half the day crawling around on the floor doing cpr to dummies! Spent the other half bandaging a lovely young man and then letting him bandage me SillyHeart

On Saturday we had a wedding. The weather was atrocious! The ceremony was at 11.30am, and at 11.00am a series of storms came through Canberra that were quite amazing. There wasn't a lot of rain (rain we can deal with) but the winds were pretty much gale force. I'm so glad the bride wasn't wearing a veil - it would have been ripped off her head. It was a steady 40kph - at times gusting to 80 and 100kph!

The ceremony was ok as it was inside, but just getting out of the car and into the venue we almost got blown away. The photoshoot afterwards was a nightmare. We managed to find a fairly protected area, but couldn't spend too much time outside. I really felt sorry for the bride and groom, they are such a lovely couple and have been through so much in their young lives. But we tried to make it as much fun as we could for them, and make the weather just another "memorable" time of their day.

Needless to say - I couldn't move yesterday! lol.

Here's just a couple of pics of them.

    image

In this second picture they look relatively relaxed, after we'd tramped through a forest, been rained on and battled to keep her from blowing away lol.

Hi girls....haven't been on this site for ages....good to see that this thread is so active! I just read back the last couple of pages. Mel, I'm so glad your recon is underway. I saw that you were concerned about having to replace your implants after 7 years. I just wanted to say that I've had mine in now for 22 years!!!

I know I've probably been lucky and problems can occur but there is no stated lifespan. I'm sure they have probably improved over the last 22 years as well!

    Best wishes to all

Wow Trish!  What a day!!!  But the bride and groom look lovely and you must have caught a lull in that second pic as everything looks calm.

I think we're getting too old to be crawling around the floor ......lol.  No wonder you can hardly move!

Hi Jezza, nice to see you here again!  Like all threads, we have our lulls and it seems to be just the same ole same ole posting but we do get a newbie in every now and then and its good that we are here still.

Just been relaxing as I have caught a cold from my dearly beloved....thank you dear...... and I just want it to go as I find breathing difficult when my lungs are congested and won't give up the crap!.....lol.....never mind, I'll get over it.  Going to the Melbourne Cup luncheon tomorrow  at the Town Hall so should be interesting.......not sure what to wear yet but I will sort something out or go naked......not a good look for sure!!!....lol......but I'd be sure to win some sort of prize.....hahahahaha!!

    Take it easy all!!
