    Am volunteering to help with navigation. I learned to read a map by the time I was 4 and have great sense of direction. My father was a professional truck driver, drove cross-country, so when it was family vacation time, he wanted to show us all the places he had been. Often there was a "short cut" that he knew about, that usually took an additional 3 hours to get there.... but that is how I learned to read maps! I have diversified, can also read trail maps, weather maps, shipping lane and navigation maps .... my next career is to be either a cartographer or philosopher. Or maybe a chef. Except I don't like cooking with exotic animal parts.

    looks like you folks have quite the trip planned.... especially if the first stop is Australia.... on a bus.  Nerdy  I'm a really good navigator - have always done all The map reading when traveling even long long ago when I was a kid I was the family navigator.

    I'm changing subjects and pitching Mother Nature into the damn fire.  I am still so mad at her for the timing of that ice storm.  Just left my PS office and got deflated again.  My boob and my mood.  Heading for surgery Friday to install a drain.  I hate drains, but this isn't going to heal without one.  Question if why the fluid?  Of course my arm isn't swollen at all, go figure!  Lord knows how long I will get to keep the drain.

    Not a happy camper..................................

    Hi there. Good ideas from all of you. But Linda and 4 you might still get a bit lost. Isn't Aly in New Zealand? I could be wrong, I've been wrong before. Have fun on your trip. :-)

    Well, it's a pleasure to meet you. My husband lived in Tacoma for 28 years. I love it up there. My favorite restaurants are Anthony's and Stanley and Seafort's. We've got a trip planned once I'm finished with treatment. Glad to hear you're staying busy!

    It's official. The newbie has arrived. Long story but...... My dumb ass is finally checking in to the bus. I missed the roll call and somehow dragged my head out of my...nevah mind.....

    I know Ducky and Jazzy from some other threads. And I had been part of some pinktober Revolution with FK. But I was a wallflower back in the discussion board day so there is no way she can remember me, but who could forget FK?! ;)

    Some people have been influencing me to come outta my shell. I am here to see how far YINZ Guyz can corrupt me. In the meantime I can play a mean game of cornhole, serve as a first aid responder and pack a mean trunk. So Lay it on me......

    In the mean time....I heard yinz were short a few beers, so I brought some to persuade the group to take me in and take me along for the ride. I am going to search for some stuff I have needed to unload for the fire to keep burning.

    I promise -I can be trained or I can drive you crazy....

    And I can find a way outta of the clover ducky is sure to get us in.

    Ok.............looks like our bus is full all accounted for, and ready to make our trip..............and again ..........its New Zealand...............who the hell was the nut that put up that Australia Welcome Sign..............oh sorry that would be me.......................everyone put in your place where you want to go.........let us know where you have to be picked up..............oh, and who is going to get the bus............or is someone delivering it to your house.....................

    I just want to tell all of u how much I. Appreciate the fact that this trip really pulled me out of the dark hole I was in when veggy passed away...THANK U EACH AND EVERYONE..I lost count of who does what except that we r 20 sistas

    We have a bus,caravan and my broom

    Oh I remember we need to figure out where everyone lives
