Blondie, the steroids always make me gain weight. My appetite becomes uncontrollable.

Good to see you Alyson....missed seeing you around here!

Val, Congratulations on the good check up!! Enjoy your Grandchildren!!

M0mmy, negative crap only makes you sick....good to get rid of it.

Sending hugs for anyone that may need them today.

Saw this picture and I'm not sure why, but it reminded me of Kracker and how she feels about pinktober.

Hi, I haven't been here in 4 pages...since mid September.  That's what work does...
Sandy, I see you are still a night owl...hope you are getting a little sleep while it is still dark.  I can sleep an hour extra tomorrow and more on the week end if I want to....
Hope you are doing well today.

FK, I am waiting to hear if you have any updates or if it is just wait and see (that's been going on too long).  You gotta get better so you can visit and road trip....

Val good to see you and have a wonderful time with the grandkids and the fall weather and leaf peeping.  I hope it doesn't snow....

I made plans to meet 2 ladies on another thread in CT and after I did that my DD said she will be here with the kids.  UGH I hate this.  I will try to do both, of course.

Soon it will be cool enough to sit around the fire every night...
I am still tossing in cancer of all kinds.
My bff from college (48) had a breast biopsy today.  I told her I was going with her and she didn't call and she went alone but she is more brave than I was.  Now we wait for results...
My Dept. Chair (boss) is in Sloan for 30 days of treatment for a rare form of leukemia.  He is not well.  And one of the younger professors has an 8 year old daughter with lymphoma.  This all happened in the past month.  Plus another prof's wife has end stage brain cancer...dx in March.  All in my building....it is a nightmare.

I will read back - it is good to see this thread is thriving...we need it and each other.

FK, I had tears...I LOVE YOUR SHIRT!!!! I was diagnosed at the beginning of October. I feel like every pink thing is there to piss me off.

You are beautiful, too by the way...what gorgeous hair, WOW!!!

I love this thread, I can rarely catch up on it but there is something so fun about being able to visualize throwing our crap on the fire! We all have it, in some form, don't we!

Throwing Firecrackers painful hands on it today...and can I throw in (virtually speaking of course) some BCO members, who constantly post negative crap in a non-supportive way to other members?

I'd love to throw anyone on the bonfire that doesn't have one ounce of compassion for what we all are going through. People like that tick me off to no end!

Joan, sending good thoughts out to your friend for B9 results! Good grief, there is just too much going on in your building.

Kracker has a beautiful smile - so do you Kathe.

Hope you all have a great weekend.

I think Blondie asked what everyone is doing this weekend...

Tonight my DH and I are going to see the musical Legally Blonde. This should be a much better "date" than all of those doctor's appts he has been taking me to. Not sure if we will go to dinner first... I'm still tired from the chemo.

Everything else seems to be routine kid maintenance stuff. College info conference for my high school senior... we will be paying attention to the scholarship/grant info. Middle son plays saxophone in the marching band, so he'll be at the football game; later going to Knott's Scary Farm with friends. Little son will be with school friends for outdoor movie night.

Not sure what else will come up, but there's never a dull moment with all these boys in the house. It's supposed to be 104 degrees tomorrow... maybe some time in the pool.

    How about everyone else?

Can I just throw everyone that wants to cause grief in the fire???  I'm not going to share the issue but just fed up with people that think I'm a horrible person...

THROW THEM IN GmaFoley!! And I will stand beside you while the fire roars.

And yes! What a smile FK has too, so full of life and loveSmile

I think this is one of those guilty pleasure moments...but my 15 year old daughter and I can probably recite every line from Legally Blonde!! If we channel surf and it is on, we watch it for the zillionth time. (That and Pitch Perfect) Let us know how it was PoppyK...(Bend..and SNAP!) I am sure it will be an incredible evening.
