Ducky, Stella looks so adorable all snuggled up and sleeping. Poor baby.

Poppy, that's so funny about your son. When they are young they will believe anything! haha

Auntie Kracker, OMG....you are such a pretty woman!! When was that taken? Honesty, I don't think you look much different. You still have that same beautiful smile and flawless skin! I never had flawless skin...I had so much acne when I was younger. I have a big dent on the side of my nose from a pimple that was SO BIG when I was younger it left a scar!! also......I agree with you, Kathe does look young!!

crog, I wrote your birthday down so we will have a big party for you too!!.

GMA, I love butterflies. There is just something so pretty about them - fluttering all around from flower to flower.

Today is my second day of procrastinating. I guess I really should dig into that tax stuff. Unless I have another birthday party to attend??? hahaha

    Love to all!

well several years ago I had a little field mouse in my house, I called my nice neighbor the cop, he came and we chased it around the house for an hour or so.  At one point I asked him to shoot it!  he calmly told me he really did not think that would be acceptable.

we did finally catch it under a wastebasket and he took it out to the dumpster to give it a new home

so just call the police for the mouse!

Good luck FK at the doc tomorrow

Hi Goddesses,  Seems I am MIA a lot these days.  I have been so busy working at another one of our parks and haven't had much computer time.  Internet really sucks where I am.  I am not too far from home and do go home on the weekends.  I just have to keep this up until Feb 6th.

Been living in our pop up camper in deep South Texas.  Last week I froze what little ass I have.  Past couple of days have been better but weather is going to get crappy by the end of the week.

I am so many pages behind and know I can't catch up.  I scrolled through quickly.

Happy Birthday to all that I missed.

    Hi Joan!!  Miss you.

Will check in when I can.

    Flying through on my broom...........

Thank you all for the Birthday wishes! I'm smilin' BIG !!!

Glennie ~ Happy Birthday gal!! Hope you had a great day. Dolly Parton's Birthday is also on our day & she is a favorite of mine. (tho I do also like Janis Joplin like you).

I was going to post a picture of myself but I forgot to put it on my computer, so....when I do....I will.  :)

Oh, yeah......I turned 63. I sure don't feel it though. Feel younger. I'm a mover. Always walking fast to & fro - that's why I have bruises on my arms & shoulders sometimes, I cut the corners too fast cos I'm always in a hurry. And I'm a stander....I'd rather stand than sit cos I can get where I'm going sooner. :D

    Off to bed!

    Hugs to all!!

Val:  I love having a birthday twin!  On another thread that I hang out on,,, one of the ladies has a daughter with the same birthday. She's 13!

I recommended a newbie to come over here.  Her name is Susan303.  She is looking for help with surgeons in the PA/NY/NJ area and since some of you live in that area, I thought you might have recommendations???

FK: how was your appt?  Hope you got some answers and that the roads were not too bad.

    **waving to all**

Another beautiful butterfly GMA! I hope you're doing better and better each day!!

Magical, I love that about the hair. Looks just like my hair these days. Unless I flat iron it like crazy.

Jo, I hope you're able to stay warm in that pop up camper. So good to hear from you! Safe travels to you.

Val, I didn't know you had a broom too!! Can't wait to see the BD picture!!

Oh Mommy....I didn't realize you were so young. You're just a babe in the woods. Looks like you get the crown for youngest.

Glennie, hope to see your newbie soon.

Tomboy, thinking of you and hope all is well. ツ !!

Thinking of you all and hope you're having a good week so far. I'm embroiled in tax stuff,
but just wanted to pop in and say hi to everyone.

    Love to all!

Thank you glennie19 for posting a link so I could find this group. Hello Ladies, I'm hoping some of you might be able to recommend a BS or BS/PS group for me in the NY/NJ/PA/CT area as I live in the Poconos of Northeast PA and met my first "here's how you can fit into the kind of surgery I do" plastic surgeon. I'm 54, 190 lbs and size "G" breasts. I was originally looking for breast reduction as 2 Manhattan scoliosis specialists told me I'm due for a 7 level fusion ...that I don't want...and that was 3 years ago when I had herniated disc surgery. :) A couple months ago my sister was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer, my mother in the past has had a lumpectomy and radiation and my grandmother had a breast removed. Although I am not bracca test positive, I know that I only want one surgery, so why not just remove the girls instead. For my back and family history, it's a win win. I met with a general surgeon I trust who said I should also speak with a plastic surgeon to make an educated choice of BMX over breast reduction. The smallest this PS guy could make my breasts was a size "D" and when I asked about going flat, to simply clean up a mastectomy so it looks as smooth as possible without dog ears, it was like he'd never been asked that question before. Not only didn't he have any related before and after photos, he could only offer the same breast reduction surgical lines. Since then I've been searching online but can't find Dr.s that do mastectomies that are closed by a plastic surgeon for the best scar result. The closest I could find were sites for Transgender Female to male "top" surgery. :( But since Breast Cancer runs in my family, I'd rather have a breast cancer surgeon do my prophylactic mastectomies. I have insurance but not a lot of extra travel funds. I could travel as far as NJ, CT, NYC, Philadelphia or Boston, but I'm hoping to find Dr.s closer to home. Thank you for your time ladies, I've been very lucky to find so many helpful people at this website and even if you don't have any suggestions at this time, thank you for being there.

Hi Susan, Welcome to the Bonfire. I'm in California, so I can't help you in your doctor search, but others here probably can. I had the cancer and another area of concern removed from the right breast by a BS, then a PS rearranged the remaining breast tissue to make a smaller, higher breast. The PS operated on the left side and reduced and lifted it to match the right side. I haven't lost sensitivity and my back feels so much better. My breasts don't project out as far as they used to which has brought great relief from my back pain.

Susan......welcome even you don't stay with us.

I had fantastic BC surgeon who was head of our Cancer center.......he just retired this year, but I understand he hand picked his replacement.......a woman, but she is in our suburb right ouside of Philadelphia.......in my opinion that would be a 2/3 hour drive from where you are........

If you want more infformation PM me, and I will be glad to help, and also remember in Phila you have Jeffferson Hospital......University of Penn......and Pennsylvania Hospital......but best of all.there is FOX CHASE CANCER CENTER...........

However you are looking for prophylactic mastectomy, so that might beconsidered different then "cancer surgery", but you could always inquire........they are all great hospitals......good luck.........
