MO's scheduler called and cancelled at 4:55 this afternoon. Was gone at 4:47 when I called to reschedule. :( I have a feeling the others will be cancelled/rescheduled as well. This what drives me most crazy about the whole process-waiting. The MO already knows what he's going to recommend. I've already decided I'll do chemo again if he recommends it. The rest is just fine tuning.

I'm feeling well and losing the T-Rex arms. Can't wait to be cleared to drive.

I wish I could "Like" your post Ducky. I couldn't agree more! Yesterday they said the snow wouldn't start until the evening, so our northeast PA school district tried to have school and then sent kids home at noon because it was snowing all morning and afternoon. Then to get ahead of the "8-12" prediction for today, they cancelled today's school last night. LOL We only got a few inches. Oh well, alls well that ends well....and money, chocolate, and "Snow Days" never arrive at a bad time. :)

    That's fine with me

I'm gonna bake another batch of those cookies and maybe do something with the squash

Today we have another coffe clutch...I really don't like those bullshit sessions but my card players and rummykub players will be there so I'll go..

The sun is out here.............Remember way back when you went to school 'and work regardless of the weather.............2 sweaters, big winter coat, scarf, hat, gloves, face covered all up, and how about those fashionable galoshs with the metal buckles..............

You scream and kick that you didn't want to wear them.....your Mother would force them on your feet with plastic bags over your shoes, and then throw your sorry ass out the door, and say "stop your damn whning" and get to school"........No school buses back then.......you walked..........LOL

2 miles up hill, both ways :), with idiot mittens, a bag lunch, no supervision and no crossing guards. Our parents were such derelicts! :) Duckyb1, I think you/we lived one of my favorite scenes in the "Christmas Story" movie. :)

ahh.. Not much snow.. That must be a relief for you all.. Your expected heavy falls even made the nightly news in.Australia.

Ducky.. HaHa.. Love your caption.. It's so true!! the weatherman is hardly ever right!

It's 3am here.. I have insomnia AGAIN.. sometimes I wish I had something to take to help.

It is good not to get much......but when they panic like that....businesses close down....lost wages, plus companies who pay their people lose the production yet pay their employees............kids lose a of school, and parents who have to go to work are stuck for babysitters........it hurts eveyone....

Then the weather people, and the idiots who shut cities down because of the poor forcasting cause bedlam.........

When we were younger you found out about the snow th morning of.............you still went to school.......and if you could not drive you walkled to work if it was possible, or got as close as you could and walked the rest of the way.........

I remember the days of walking in the snow to school, bundled up.........no buses...........no parent driving you......many of us didn't even have a car........LO

I love idiot mittens. I wore them right up to a few years ago when one got caught in the steering wheel when I tried to turn left. Didn't hit anything but it scared me so they're gone now. I still whine about how much I miss them though.

I did the same thing when I went to school

When I worked it became a different story

If we had a crippling storm I used one of my personel days or a vacation day...AIG did not pay me enuf for me to fall anymore....if im gonna fall it was reserved for the dance floor only

I'm just waiting for Thurs...we r expecting 60% snow and Brian gets his results from his CT.scan

    Right now im makin applesauce....

I didn't ever think I would be Suzy homemaker at this point in my life.

    Grrrrrr

Applesauce yum!!!! I make my own. Made a big batch this last fall in the crockpot and froze some. Just ate the last of it last night. Time to make some more... I have found that now that it is harder for me to stand and cook that I want to to do it. Crazy...

Lulu.. How are you? Have you had your appointment rescheduled yet? Yes.. The waiting is the absolute pits !!

Appointment is rescheduled for a week from today. It turns out my MO has a case of the flu so I can't blame this on weather. I told his scheduler I'd be okay with an email exchange or phone conversation if that could happen sooner than an office visit, but I don't know what kind of shape MO's in. He may be too sick for any work at this point. From what I heard from my BS when she called me with the pathology report a week ago the MO had already reviewed the results and had a recommendation. I just don't know at this point what the recommendation is. This is my second time around so we've already built a relationship and I trust his judgement, and my husband and I are on the same page as to how we'll (or I'll) make the decision, so we're pretty much ready to go. I just hate to delay any longer than necessary. For me the hardest part of this journey has always been the periods of limbo when there's nothing to do but wait.

The good news is that today I was cleared to drive, so I'll finally have some independence. I never thought I'd be so happy to drive the carpool and grocery shop on my own. My pathetic excitement reminds me of when I had babies and I was thrilled by the occasional solo trip to the supermarket sans kids!

My offerings for this Friday's bonfire-drain logs, axillary pillow, pain pills and steri-strips. Good riddance!!

guess I should pass from this thread for a while. Thought I was moving on as BS said no chemo and thought it was the home stretch. Oncotype results say not so. Starting chemo next Tues :
