    Deb  Love the pic.

Susan sorry you are in so much pain. but it does mean your husband has to do the cooking..and the dishes?

We too had salad for dinner...not real hungry tonight.  Tomorrow though I may do chicken cordon blue, not sure what made me think of it, but have not made it in a long time.

carberry, My husband does all the dishes, all the time. Well, lately, I have been helping more on that front, but it turns out he thinks he should do them all. Marriage is a moving target!

My husband is actually a very good cook, but he cooks simple items. He is a meat-whisperer on the grill. Oh his smoked ribs are to die for. When I ran a large non-profit, he made dinner for the whole family night after night. I admit, after 6 years, I was very tired of sauteed chicken. He is one of the good guys.

But tonight, I gave instructions and he followed. He had to unzip my pants zipper because my hand couldn't do it. I fear he will need to brush my hair tomorrow. This is the price for seven years of aromasin. My new motto is, no drug is free.

Michelle- I too am thinking about you! I have been gone all day but the first thing I wanted to do is check on any news about your mom!

Deb- Aww, she is beautiful and way to young! So very sorry!

Susan- Sorry your SE are so bad. Sounds like your DH is a keeper. Can you share his rib recipe please?

Laurie- LOL! At your sinner and drinks must of been quite a night!

Tazzy- Noodles or rice? or if you have cauliflower you could cook and prepare them just like mashed potaoes I like to add parmesan cheese to mine. yummm!

Made blackened AHi tuna with a sauce I love just love. Its called hot mustard sauce- 1/4 cup of room temp beer (I use coors light)-1/4 cup of dry mustard (colemans)- 1 1/2 tablespoons of dijon mustard and 1/4 cup of soy sauce. blend until smooth. Had soba noodles and peas with it.

debbie... thanks for the suggestions.  I ended up doing a yam roasted... but yes I agree with the cauliflower.  I really like it done that way.  Had I not found the yam I would've gone with rice.   Mind you I much prefer your dinner and that sauce I will have to try.

Tazzy- I could eat yams any day instead of potatoes Dh is not crazy as crazy about them like me, but he does like my candied sweet potatoes. The soba noodles was left over from lunch out today that had an excellent peanut sauce on it. Off to eat some ice cream with hot fudge! Been cheating all week ha!

MICHELLE, glad your mom is feeling comfortable. Deborey, so sad about your friend. Susan, sorry you are in pain. Laurie, I noticed your fruedian slip too, sinner and drinks! LOL. Made pork chops today. Used dandylion jelly to glaze them and fried potatos. Not real good for me, but had to use them up. Sat in fridge since last week, so had to cook them. Same thing with potatos. Had to throw away the rest of the strawberries and pineapple though. I thought I was doing well keeping up with the fresh stuff, but haven't been able toveat so much due to the D from the antibiotics. Oh, well.

    To everyone, much love.

My mom passed away last night at 10:07.  We were all there and it was a very peaceful ending.  Thank you all for your love and support - you made a tough time just a little easier.

Michelle, deepest sympathies to you and your family.

To all, my MIL just had two strokes, and is septic, they have decided not to treat. She is over 90, and has been in failing health. We are heading up to Watoma today. Don't know when I will be back. Much love to all.

For some happy news. Today, Sharon interviewed for the physics teacher job and, pending approval by the school board, has been offered the position.

Losing a mother or a father is very hard.  My sympathy to you and your family, Michelle.

Sorry about your MIL, Moon.  Travel safely.

Great news about Sharon!  As a former teacher, my sympathy to her, too.  Just kidding!  But teaching is a very difficult job and I admire the good teachers.

I spent much of today with my mother, who will turn 90 in Dec.  We went to a dr.'s apptment, bought her groceries, and picked up lunch at Olive Garden.  She seemed happy today.  Her youngest child, my brother Brian, is flying in from Atlanta this weekend to visit her.

Catfish filets on sale at WinnDixie for $3.99 a lb.  Have been $7.99 for quite a while.  Farm raised.  I bought a whole package and will freeze some.  Plan to cook two of the filets for dinner tonight.  A WW recipe that is quite good.  Oven-fried catfish with a seasoned cornmeal coating.

Yesterday at WW weigh-in, I was down 5.6 lbs for the past 2 wks.
