Granny, we have Groupon.........Deal a day........and Living Social........google them, you will find them right away....................

Granny.......Grayson is still doing her physical therapy, 3 times a week.......not crawling, and her sister is............she is weak, in the area that will control her sitting, crawling, and walking, but she keeps trying.........right now she is not well at all..........horribly congested, and they have to aspirate her nose, and keep tapping her on the back to move the mucus, and congestion...........like what she has isn't enough................she is a beauty ..........once I can learn how to load pictures I will put some up....................glad to hear your feeling better....................

Thanks also to everyone who is praying for Grayson.........she has a lot of BC Aunts........I talk about you all, all the time...............hugs to my best friends.

This is off topic, but I wanted to mention this book again (it has already been mentioned in several threads). I thought that it was terrific. Here is the full title for anyone who'd like to check it out...After Breast Cancer: A Common-Sense Guide to Life After Treatment. Author is Hester Hill Schnipper. She is an experienced oncology social worker and a breast cancer survivor. Excellent and comprehensive book. I got mine on Amazon.com for my Kindle and it is also available in paperback and hardcover.

Hi ladies. I have my 3 month checkup with the MO on Monday. Just "routine", but still nerve racking (as you all know). I will appreciate any good vibes you could send my way. Plenty of pocket room if you're available.

Hi! Does anyone have suggestions about how to sleep with radiation burns?

In daytime, when the breast is wrapped up in burn sheets and a bra, it's OK, but as soon as I take the bra off, it hurts.

I try to sleep without a bra, to let the burns get some air at least at night. But the radiated breast falls to the side and the radiated skin folds and hurts terribly. I prop it up with a cushion, take a pain killer and lie completely still. Falling asleep is not a problem, but I wake up as soon as I move in my sleep.

I have a cream and a hydrocortison gel, but I am not supposed to use it in the most sore areas, and I don't think I could, either. But is there anything else I can do??

Mandalala~when my skin started to separate my RO gave me Silvadine cream for the burn.  I tried to prop my self, more like wedge myself in pillows to not move, but I did sleep in the recliner alot, where I couldn't roll over.  Hang in there, it hurts, it burns, it sucks....but it heals quickly too.

Hi Sherry, my daughter came in from A&M for the month! Yeah! So I'll be sleep deprived to see her, she's got college sleep hours, hardly any!

Hi Jo- My appointment is at 1:30 in Harlingen. Gotta work in the morning, then appointment, then Christmas parade on SPI. Our KOA has a float, so we will be in the parade with some of our staff and campers. I was thinking that you had an appointment that same day. I'll jump in your pocket and hope for an uneventful day for both of us!

Mandalala- I so wish I had some good advice for you. I had EXACTLY the same problem. No matter how I would position myself it would hurt. If it makes you feel better, my armpit burn healed very quickly as soon as my boosts were finished. Did they give you Silvadene cream?

Sagina and Ceeztheday – thanks a lot! Yes, Ceeztheday, it definitely feels good to know that it may heal quickly. They didn't give me Silvadene, I don't know if there is anything like that in Sweden, but I'll ask. Sleeping in the recliner is a good idea. Should make it easier to get up in the morning as well.

Ceeztheday - My appt is in Weslaco I will be heading in the right direction for yours.  I will catch you righf after lunch - be sure to wear something with big pockets - I have a feeling they are going to be full.  LOL!

Mandalala - I am so sorry to hear you are having such problems with the radiation burns.  I did burn slightly but had a bigger problem to deal with and that was a topical infection that covered most of my radiated breast.  I sleep on the same side and did have some trouble sleeping.  I had to sleep on the couch alot with my back up against the back of the couch so I would not move or rollover.  Hang in there - it does hurt but it does heal faster than you think.

Jo- Good luck in Weslaco. I'll get up early so I can hop into your pocket before work.
