Oh Lisa, I didn't realize you'd hurt yourself! What did I miss? Hugs to you, as I know you love to wander.
Did you have wind that knocked the branch off, or was it just old? Close call, eh? (And yes, we Canadians even type "eh")

Lisa that's a decent sized branch.....thank goodness you weren't near when it fell, you have had enough injury for the year. Take it easy and enjoy your day!
Lol Barbe, you can always make me laugh.......I think we all say and type 'eh'.
Getting late here and almost time for me to seek my bed. I will finish my cup of tea, make a bathroom stop and head in that direction. Have a good day all!
Love n hugs. Chrissy

Beginning to move around more each day and that is a really good thing as I'm sure my butt is turning square!.....well, flat anyway! I don't know how but I have managed to lose a couple of kilo since having the op, not that I'm complaining.......lol......just can't figure out how it's happened. Maybe now that trend has started I can keep it going and lose a bit more.......here's hoping anyway!
Take it easy all!

Chrissy, having it harder to walk to the fridge to poke around may be helping you after all! I get bored and cruise the kitchen just to see if perchance anything interesting has arrived unbeknownst to me. Always a surprise to find a treat I forgot about! heheheheh

Yes Barbe, I do do that.....lol......but I have been a good girl for a long time now and my fridge offers me fruit, veg, cheese and yogurt. I sometimes have some snack crackers in the cupboard but that's it........boring! I said to DH tonight when he bought up our dessert, that when I return to cooking there will be no more dessert so he'd better make the most of it.
Well, I have done it! I went to the car this afternoon, got behind the wheel, drove up and down the driveway for a bit then backed out and did a trip around the block!.......yipeeeee!!!!.......I am mobile again!!!! woohoooo!!! Can you tell I'm just a little bit excited and happy about it?!
Stay cool all!
Love n hugs. Chrissy

Checking in from northern MN where we had the heat on this morning! Temp. was in the 50's. And it's July! Not complaining. When it warms up a little, we'll go bicycling.
Congratulations, Leah, on a new grandbaby.
And great news about you, Chrissy, that you're behind the wheel again! You've made good progress, although it has probably seemed slow to you.
Later I'll take some pictures of our location here in Pine Hollow Resort near Park Rapids, MN. This is our 3rd year to stay here during July and Aug. We plan to do some wandering and make some visits during Sept. before returning home to Louisiana.
On the subject of weight, I'm HOPING not to gain back the 10 lbs I lost on WW earlier in the year. I brought my bathroom scale along but haven't stepped on it. My clothes will tell the tale, though.
Hope everyone is having a good season whether it's summer or winter.

Oh boy Chrissy! You are amazing! Behind the wheel already-wow! Good for you.
Barbe- I do the same thing in the kitchen...digging through cupboards and the pantry hoping to find a treat!
Hi Carole! We haven't met but wanted to say hello! I live in AZ and we are suffering through another typical summer. Expecting 110 degrees again today. I'd much rather be dealing with cooler temps.
Having a groggy day...just got home from chemo. Off to my lazy boy to nap.
Hope you are all having a lovely day! Hugs, lilyrose
