It is a sad day for Eeyore, and it rained hard this morning. Heard a friend was in hospice for pancreatic cancer on Thursday. Just yesterday afternoon, sent an email to her hubby that I would like to visit her on Sunday ( have to attend a wedding on Saturday ). This morning, got email that she was gone early this morning. Few hours later, my next door neighbor sent email that their dog of almost 14 years were gone this morning during the rain. we want rain, but not dark clouds.

Hate phone calls in the early morning and middle of the night. Always get my heart pumping fast. As moms, I guess we never stop worrying.

I once picked up what I thought was lint from my hubby's black socks. Gave me the hibbie jibbies when I realized it was a squirmy earwig. Jibberish and nonsense sounds came out of my mouth along with shuddering. Learned my lesson not to pick anything up without a close look.

Ms. CHEVY, that is a nice house. I can see yours in one of the picture. I really don't understand why people spend more than what they make, and then ending up losing everything. It is just sad because someone else will gain from their hard work and earnings.

I bought this yesterday from the market. Sharing this with those who appreciate their beauty.Flowers make me happy temporarily;)

    Spookie, huh what?

I been out pontificating. Need to stop. Way to opinionated.

Out to dinner soon. They're is this restaurant in Titusville, Fl. Not a top notch restaurant. But has THE BESTEST marketing program. They send out mailers and emails for  a coupon worth 13.99. They find all kinds of reasons to send them. Consequently the restaurant is always full. I tried to get a long time beloved restaurant guy to pay attention to what this other restaurant was doing. He resisted it b/c he said they were giving food away. I said all his tables are full...he's working on volume. Alas, my beloved restaurant went out of business a few weeks later after being a fixture for several decades.

BTW the neck between the spine issue is the Trapezius. Interesting muscle. 12th cranial nerve. Attaches at the occiput, spine and shoulder blades. Only muscle that changes it's insertion and origin points based on movement. Movement, lack of movement, or over use can lead to lots of discomfort and pain. It's why I spent 1975 till 1978 in traction in traction.

actually I am not getting a brain mri. MO is just watching. I have migranies, have had them since I was 13. Never had they presented this way, but what I had seems similar to what you describe. Certainly something to discuss with my optometroist.

Chilling with friends up in Maine tonight. My husband turned a bed sheet into an outdoor projection screen by the bonfire.

Trej. Mantra "give it to the person of a higher authority(knowledge)". You have a new onset many symptom scenario. All symptoms not shared on the board. MO either orders a MRI which is the definitive test or refers you to a neurologist. Stand your ground. They're is a slew of things that this could be. Some troublesome, some not. MO is an oncologist---not a neuro doc. Neuro doc doesn't say MRI, I back off. But the reasonable BEST approach is rule out the worst case scenarios right up front. Then deal with the lesser case scenarios. All lesser case scenarios ruled out--enjoy the flashing lights. Remember second mantra "can this kill the patient (me)". Yes, a brain tumor can kill even benign ones. Say it ends up being optic migraines, we share stories about how they sparkle. Anyone that whitewashes new onset symptom or changes to a pre-existing scenario does it at the patients risk.

Ah----migraines since you were 13......." I have migranies, have had them since I was 13. Never had they presented this way, but what I had seems similar to what you describe". No, they aren't... Until you rule out an organic change by definitive testing. I'm a bitch aren't I. If AFTER testing and everything is ruled out, then we can enjoy the lights together.

Would Sherlock Holmes accept this difference? This change without further investigation? I think not Watson!

Opthamoligist is not an optometrist. MD versus technician(kinda better than a tech). Optometrist are highly trained, but they are not an opthamologist.  My Opthomologist has a optometrist in his office. One of the things I highly respect about my ologist is he pops in to take a look.

Trej, hugs......... Chevy is the matriarch, I'm the play ground monitor. sassy

Sassy: good for you to drive the necessary points into our mind. I had double visions and dizziness for one week each in June and July without any headaches. When I mentioned to my pcp, she immediately contacted her consulting neurologist and my Onc to demand a brain MRI. It turned out nothing in brain, so I can wait to ask my ophthalmologist to check my eyes on annual exam next month. I appreciated my PCP's care for her patients so much.

well, we didn't accomplish much today. Got the car and made it back to the hotel without hitting anything or anyone. It's been 10 years since the last time I drove on the left side. Wasn't too bad. We were planning to go to Newgange but it took too long to get the car. Tomorrow we head to the Nat'l Stud and meet up with FeelingFeline, then on to Kinsale. That will take up the rest of the day.

Here's a pic of our dining room where we've had breakfast everyday.

Hope everyone had a nice weekend.

Yeah! Of all the complaining I did about the snow/cold weather...I am ready for fall & winter again! It is 110 out on the back patio now..... I try and work outdoors even in the shade, and you can't do it for more than 15 minutes.......

Eeyore...! Sorry, I was thinking about Spookie's Eeyore! I thought how did HE get here? And he lost someone? I'm so sorry I was totally confused.

It was you! I have to pay more attention.......

.Hey Blondie! Good to hear from you!

You know, I was having so much trouble with Aol 9.7, and Windows 10.... So I posted that question to a forum, and someone answered back telling me to down-load AOL desktop 9.8! IT WORKED! And hasn't shut down once!

I had tried it before, but of course AOL shut down right in the middle of it.... but I got it right this time! I didn't have any trouble with Chrome, nor Firefox. But I really like the format of the AOL mail, the Favorites, etc.

Smarty! So cooooooool! And Loverly.... beautiful pictures! Okay.... have a good day girls! xoxoxo

Loverly: perfect! but they say nothing about cat SPIT. (yesterday, I brought in some basil for dinner, only to discover New Boy Cat, aka Pete the Paw, contemplatively sampling several of the leaves up on the counter.)

Queen, I had a cat who loved green plants. She even ate some that are listed as poisonous. Perhaps she just didn't get enough. Try growing some cat grass for him and google the list of bad plants so you can keep them out of his reach. My cat not only ate 1/2 of an African violet on the table, but did it from the back so we didn't notice for a long time.
