oh my gosh PRB,, that sounds like Gainesville !! It would be a nice town except for the students. LOL!

and I like the idea of the study on silver cars. All of my cars have been silver except one,, and it was a really pale green,, which looked silver in some lights. That could have been my problem all along. If I had only had a red car,,,,,

and going to Australia and going on Ellen's show,,, I'M SO THERE!!

Party on game day at Bobo's !!!  I have a terrible singing voice for karakoke,,,,,  *blush*

It is so much better when we have wins,,, that is for sure. Otherwise the whole town needs Prozac.

Ava appreciates the compliments and the smooches. She sends you sloppy doggies kisses.

Yes, party at bobo's on game day!  If you like an hors d'oeuvres party, festive drinks, and two hopping eight year olds, this party is for you!  We're not exactly dancing on tabletops over here.  We really want them to win.  Especially our dariing.  She hates Alabama especially, for some reason!

Hanging out over here,, cuz work is slow,,,, hopefully it will pick up after 10 when the others leave and I have all the work to myself!!

    What's happening, everyone??

I see my new massage therapist/LE person tomorrow,,, the one that I'm paying cash to, cuz I can't deal with the insurance company for yet another therapist!  But she makes house calls,,,, so that's sweet.  Will be really great for the weeks after my HX.

Then I work the weekend,, then off to Daytona Beach for 3 nights.  Fun in the sun,,,, hopefully,, no rain!

Did a big post, but my system went down and I lost it.

Just heard that my Pathology came back with nothing malignant in the Biopsy sample! Yay!

I have been all over the place today. I found the upholsterer who was recommended, so I took a dining chair down to him, then dashed into town to the fabric shop, couldn't find anything, so back to him and went through a thousand samples. I found 2 that I liked, so brought the big books home for Colin to see. He's a honey! I didn't say a word and he picked the same 2 as I had and we agreed on the final one! So back I went to order the fabric. I also took another chair from the setting in the family room to have the seats on those done in the same fabric. Another job out of the way.

Just had a call from the painter too, I have been waiting for him since I called last October, to finish the jobs that I put on hold, when I had the surgery. So it will be busy here next week.

    Catch you all later...M x

Yay negative biopsy!!  Nothing can stop our M from shopping.  I could take a bite out of her arm, thus leaving a large uncloseable gouge, and then she would take me out to lunch and some shopping.  Now that makes me nostalgic.  I wish I could have lunch and some shopping with you M!

Spookie!  Ohhhh.  She is so cute in that outfit.  She can come to our party.  Don't know why our princess hates Alabama.  It is one of the stories of the ages.

Z is currently flying home with the kids -- from Ireland!  Yikes that is going to be a long flight.  But if anyone can handle her business, it's our Z.

Hey Bobo! I'd love to go shopping too, can do with out the bite out of my arm, but do what you gotta do!

What color pedicure did you end up with?

I hope Z is resting on the plane and the kids are behaving! I wonder where she flies into and how far she has to travel once she gets back into the US?

Thinking about JS, I hope she's healing well. ldesim hasn't been around I hope she had a good birthday.

Getting late here, I am off to bed, have a great day see...chat later! M x

Hello all! M~ I am so glad that your biopsies were clean! YAY!!! Spookie and Glennie.. I love the babies!! Bobo, the football parties sound like so much fun! We love football at our house too. Zills... have been thinking of you and hoping that you made it home safely and sanely :).  I am sorry I haven't posted, I have tried to keep up with everyone's posts and you were all on my mind.. I spent several days in Dallas for the big party and came home Sunday with  the beginnings of a cold. I have spent the last few days trying to recoup from that and working on getting everything in place for Chemo on Tuesday. I am healing well and trying to keep positive energy and thoughts around me. My niece and my nephew in law designed two t-shirts for "Team Stacey". I was so touched when I saw the flyers they had made. Nephew made niece make a "boy" shirt so he could wear one too. They also started a facebook page for "Operation Stacey" as they call it. I am just speechless and in awe that they would do something like this for me. Niece said they couldn't do much to help me, but they could do this. We all started to cry when they told me.Well, have to run, guys will be home soon and we have to start getting JB ready to move on the 20th... just a few more days... Much love and hugz to you all!

js:  is that your page:  Real men wear teal and Fight like a diva??  Those are awesome shirts! How sweet of them to do this.

Spooks:  you can totally come to the party.  Ava will sniff you and then ignore you which is pretty much what she does to all dogs. She wants human attention,, and the food and affection that comes from humans!  She will be trying to eat all the football snacks.

I am still frustrated with therapists.  They do say I'm doing a great job of managing my LE,, but it is amazing that all the things I've learned on this forum and from StepUpSpeakOut,,,, crap on a chapstick,,, I could be an LE therapist!!  They were both impressed by my breast binder,, had never seen it before. They are not familiar with the Lebed exercise program or with dry brushing. GEEEZ.  I'm going to go whine over on the LE forum now.

Shoulder is still paining me.  Going to only wear the breast binder for a week and see if no bra straps for a week will help.

and I think I need pizza,,, yes,, that would make the shoulder better, I'm sure.

Good to hear from jsj!  Your fam is so sweet.  M, my pedi is an absolute neutral, leaning on the lavender side.  It's very glossy.

Spookie!  So good to hear from you!  Bobo would totally eat you.  And Ava, actually.  Wait, are you a girl?  Bobo was bitten badly by a dog during a walk in PHL.  So he doesn't like black dogs.  And he doesn't like large white dogs.  He doesn't like male dogs.  He himself is a large white male dog, so if he knew he is a dog, he would not like himself.

He DOES make an exception for some small or medium female dogs.  He always has a girlfriend.  There was this one, Ruby, with long silky hair.  And then there was another one on our block -- she was one of those tiny dogs with long red hair.  Bobo loves girls and he prefers red hair.  When he has a girlfriend he stands near her and looks into the distance.  He is trying to look cool and noble during that time.

Crap on a chapstick!  Those LE therapists sound clueless.  Idiots.  I think if you are an LE therapist you should study up about it.

I keep emailing links on stuff to the one I see at Shands!!  It would be funny,, if I really didn't need the help and guidance of a trained professional.

Ava tolerates dogs smaller than her, but she doesn't like them when they are bigger. And she doesn't like barking dogs,, they make her nervous and she whimpers. I think she had a rough life in the beginning.

I just got back from a visit with my NP to see if the cellulitis has cleared up. It has, but I learned more from him in this visit than I have in the past two years about LE. Even more than here on BCO!

One thing was it's never going to look like my other arm again. It can only be controlled much like a lot of other diseases or issues. Damn!

Spookie is a little tank that needs to loose a pound. She was 8.4 pounds last week at vet.

Tell me more!!  Eager to learn how to manage this monster!

I was just thinking that I might be willing to travel in order to find a good LE practitioner who could give me some good advice on compression, etc,,, a one-shot visit since I don't live close.

My PCP and this ARNP both seem to be down on the LE therapists. In my limited experience with one, I tend to agree. The one I saw wrapped my arm, never taught ME how to. Never really pushed MLD.

Today the NP said it's chronic. Like diabetes. The sleeves may with swelling, but it will never look normal. Gave me tips on skin care, and how I got this round of cellulitis. Didn't have to be a visible bug bite or scratch. Just another crappy permanent reminder bc sucks.

    Happy Anniversary Glennie!

So busy here this morning, I know nothing about football, yours, or ours, we don't even have the sports stations on our cable package, neither of us are interested in any kind of televised sports.

Dexter is a very happy little host, to anyone who visits. He is having a friend over tomorrow while my friend and I tackle emptying the garden shed and stack up Colin's new storage shed.

I am always amazed at supposed professionals, who seem to have little knowledge, about their specialty, or probably it is fairer to say they aren't completely up to date. I have run into a few too and wonder how they get on practicing something they don't continue to study. I guess we have so many ways now, to educate ourselves on things we are interested in that we know more about our ailments, than the Doctors really want us to:)

jsj, great to hear from you! Don't feel you have to be here all the time, we just wonder how you're doing. We know you're busy, with heaps going on, just when you can will be fine, we're all thinking about you! Get your rest!

I have some serious moving stuff to do today, for the painters next week, so I will catch up later! M x

I see my PCP on the 18th,, I'll see what advice she has. At least she checked my arm the last time I was there,,, before it started,, but at least she was knowledgable enough to know that it should be watched out for.  A point in her column.

    hey y'all---

So glad to see you!!  Bobogirl. Does princess not like alabama the football roll tide team or the whole dang state?   Glennie. Happy anniversary !!!  That is a milestone for sure.  I am 2 months   out and still working on my dang foobs!!!  Have discovered that the one the fitter fitted me with is too small.  I tried it in the Mona bras and my new swimsuit and my heart dropped.  I realized they fitted me in a cupped bra so of course they looked the same in that bra.  And that was my one and only for the insurance money.  You need to be fitted in a form fitting type bra.  Oh well...........

Jsj. In the bag with ya starting that chemo.  Stay grateful they have something for us to take.  40 years ago this all was a lot worse I think.  Enjoy your time with your son before college.  They grow up so fast!!!

Ariom. Sounds like you have a lot of home improvements going on.  I am on 2 week vacation and am getting things done around my house.  Was going on a trip to Orlando Florida but cancelled  it when I got BC.  Just gonna relax and enjoy my Taterbug and Georgiegirl!

Spookie. That is adorable football outfit.  I will have to get mine some football duds.

Bobo. Gameday party!!!!. We are on!!!! Yay

Yay Ariom that your BX is negative.  That is one for our team!!!!!!

Well. Having a hot flash  so gonna go for now.    see you later.  Got a new kitchen rug. Really shaggy white one. My puppies love it.

    More later

    O2
