Yeah,, we won't go there,,,,MEN!!! I just remember how shocked I felt when she died.0 -
Yeah, but wasn't his next 'love of his life' the evil Heather Mills? She really took him for a ride!
Paul seems like a gentle thing; maybe he just cannot be alone.

Hissss!!! Heather Mills!Hissss!
What a nasty witch! I think she was a con artist who took advantage of a kind man, who was grieving. So glad he is rid of her!

OMG, Andrea, now I love you more! I always tell people I want to bring back the hiss!
Oh, that just makes me want to see you more. I forgot, are you coming to NOLA? Or will we wait to see you at Disney? XXX

My onc said eating soy twice a week was ok. As food, not pills. We have Quorn here, too, and I love it. We had "meatballs" in a stew and it was just excellent. They also make breaded patties with a little goat cheese and cranberries inside. My favorite breakfast. Also the fillo packages with figs and goat cheese. Good thing they're expensive because I could get fat on them.
I saw my onc today (another new one). She ordered an x-ray of my scapula which has hurt for a couple of years. She said if it didn't show anything, and she expects it won't, she'll order lymphedema massage. I'm going to make sure Medicare pays before I go. She said it would be unusual to have lymphedema in my back without any in my chest or arm. But on the other hand, anything's possible.

Question Wren, now that I am on Medicare... is it our responsibility to find out if they pay or does the dr/clinic put in calls? Just wondering

Mine is thru a HMO which has special people who know the in's and out's. Some docs know what's covered, but others don't, so I check if it's going to be costly. They said MC will cover it and perhaps they will if it's considered treatment for a condition. You can sign up for various levels with the HMO and I have the middle one.

ok thanks, it is a whole new ball game for us, but guess it will work ok,

We received a big book from Medicare so guess I had better read it!

I just posted my answer to the wrong thread. Medicare paid for 1 foob every 2 years and 2 bras every 6 months. I didn't get my last 2 bras because I really didn't need them. Just got a new foob at 3 years.

Good luck reading. Gov. doublespeak. I tried. It's easier to call your insurance rep. I have an Advantage plan, wanted to know if MC would cover my insulin pump. MC doesn't, as best I can tell. But Humana does. Go figure

Birdie, in the bag for your x-ray. LE massage is an excellent idea either way, don't you think? I have these large fluid deposits from my surgeries -- not really LE, they say, but fluid that needs to be drained -- and when I go to PT massage it really helps. I can tell the difference.
I hope it is affordable for you and paid for by your insurance. XXX

Birdie, I reply to myself. It is a shame that Quorn has egg in it, don't you think? Our princess is allergic to eggs. I have always been sad about that!

Bobo, I hope she will outgrow it. My friend's son recently became able to eat eggs that are in baked products,, so there is hope!!!Wren: I hope MC will cover it. I bet the massage will help a lot. Hopefully X-ray is negative.

I too was never warned about avoiding soy or grapefruit or anything for that matter... and all positives. I have very high estrogen levels.
Wren, massage should help... I too hope it's covered for you.

Peek a boo, Glennie, it's mighty quiet over here.

Hi nomatterwhat, thank you so much for thinking of me! No, I am a long way away from all that, on the east coast of Victoria, in a small coastal town in the Lakes District. We are having super hot weather, 98.6F today, so we are more concerned about fires, not right where I am, but nearby.
How are you doing? The news I am watching, is showing terrible snow and ice in the US, not sure about, where you are. I am looking forward to the Autumn here.

Glad to hear you are safe and hot. We had snow the other day and it was a white knuckle drive home from work. WOW, was it slick. I am in the Midwest and haven't had much snow this year, thankfully. It has really been up and down weather and we all are fighting some kind of head/sinus issues, flu, aches/pains and just general sickness. Yesterday was 10 degrees, today it was 50 and tomorrow is suppose to be a high of 5. It has been a crazy year of weather.

Idesim, Good to hear from you again. Have you shoveled your way out of your house yet?

Hi again nomatterwhat, how you doing? I hope you're feeling better. Isn't the weather weird this year? I am amazed at the strange Summer we're experiencing, humid like in Asia, but thankfully no days and days over 40c, yet! LOL
It has been pretty quiet over here for a while, we moved across to our girl, DP's thread, but last week we lost her and it's been really tough on our little group. It is nice to see this thread waking up again, good to see you here! M x

Only the back! The whole front of my house is a whole sheet of ice.... haven't used the front door in over a week... OVER IT! How have you been making out? I think everybody has been having a good dose of the cold.
I agree M, it is nice to see some activity xxx

There's hope. Definitely spring here. Primroses, daffodils, cherry trees blooming, apple trees. Very pretty. We should take photos to pull out in August when everything is brown and we're rationing water.

oh my, L,, you can only use the back door??? That sucks!!!0 -
Idesim, full disclosure: I turned the air conditioning on for a while last night!
