I know Ducky. We can learn a good lesson from a dog. They live in the moment and get every bit of joy out of life they can. If they are with their people, they are happy!!

Edited to add: I wish I could be more like a dog.

Going to see my GP tonight.....no clue why.....no one really knows shit (pardon my mouth) and they are all guessing.............

Tomorrow to a new Neurologist and this guy does mostly MS, and Muscularsketal problems...........I am sure I am wasting my time............and I think my little oriental Dr. said it best..........They can tell you what it wasn't, but not always what it was.....

My son't best friend who is a Dr. said a TIA.......but I had no numbness, could speak, walk, no weakness, and my mouth was not droopy........only thing was I can't remember the incident, only know what my son told me.....

When I talked to the GP ;office today I asked if they got all the results.......the nurse said ";yes I see the x-ray result............I said "what x-ray"...........she said the did them....I said no they didn't............

Check with my daughter.......asked her......she said "yea Mom they did".................I have no clue or rememberance of them doing x-rays..........also have no clue how I went from my street clothes to a hospital gown..............nor out of the ambulance, into the hospital, onto a table.........and funny thing is when I really was not loopy....I never asked "what am I doing here"........that is the scary part.....................

I still feel goofy in the head......off and on mild pressure, and just not myself.........dull achiness and once in a while it hurts................

Now I have to drive to the Dr.s...........at 6:50 pm.........Hey they have no friggin clue what the hell happened,

So if their gonna "guess" what's wrong............then I'm gonna "guess" I can drive.........

That is unless the Mafia comes over and tells me different.............

Well briefly I was in the hospital last Thursday into Friday........went in an ambulance........for whatever reason, I lost my memory and even though I was able to function I cannot remember any of it....mys on had stopped.....saw I was comenting on things I knew about but was acting like I didn't......even said to him after he said he was coming....."what the hell are you doing here"......with my grandson 23, and I don't remember seeing him........or the ride to the hospital......or puttingon a hospital gown, getting chest xrays....nothing.....finally I was coming around, but was completely awake and aware when this was happening.................MRA, normal, MRI normal, EEG normal, CT SCAN, normal, Carotid Ultrasound, normal............

They called it Transient Global Amnesia.....or Transient Retrgrade Amnesia.............not a TIA according to my GP tonight..........so go figure....

I see a Neurologist tomorrow just as a follow-up.........and doing more blood work..........only thing gets me is my BP when this happened went up to 200/94........never, ever, been that high......Dr. said could be stress..........I think I can handle it, but my body inside couldn't.................and with age this can happen........he said he has seen it before........

Told me get rid of the stress.....ok, that means my kids, the shore house, the HELOC, the lonliness...........and bullshit in general......so tell me how.........hugs, now that I have bored you all to death.....

OMG, Ducky,, what do they say is the cause of that? And what can you do about it? They think it is the stress?

As I was reading Ducky's earlier posts I thought, sounds like transient global amnesia. Then she said it was! It happened to someone I know. The ER people were clueless, but the neurologist knew what it was. Usually no cause is known. The doctor said it is unlikely to happen again. And don't keep trying to remember those hours -- you won't, because they never got recorded.

I sooo needed to see this. I have 5 little furbabies who know something is wrong with mommie. At least two sleep in the bed with us and DEFINITELY my chihuahua - or my tumor as my bf called before the real one came along. Now he's trying to say that after surgery she shouldn't be in the bed with us because she's not "clean." I said then maybe he's not "clean," either. I need my babies, their warm little bodies.

Does anyone remember that old show V? When someone was in the hospital they did bring you cut flowers because flowers were dying. People brought something like a kitten because it was alive and full of love. Ok, not that the chihuahua is always full of love hahahahahahahahahah!

    Awww she's a cutie!!

My dogs have slept with me all my life. I've never caught anything from them, or theyfrom me. Tell the bf to take a shower and you'll think about it.

    Adorable....looks like my daughters Chi..............

Amazing isn't it that something like that can happen......Shetland.............so glad you have heard of it..........and that is what they claim it was.....either that or Retrograde amnesia........I still am having a hard time dealing with it........and want tthat tim explained to me....but no one can with certainty........

So I will have to move on.........that' s the hard part.....I am a "show me" person......"find out why". person.........so that is what I am dealing with now..........but praying I wi ll get there.....thanks for your experince with this and knowing about it....it did make me feel better......hugs Shetland...

Now back to our "Pets"......did not mean to belabor you ladies with this.....I clearly put it on ther wrong thread........but happy I ..........I learned something that helped me.......................love you .ladies...

There have been alot of picture moments since it has gotten colder. I think Dozer is saying: "Mommy, don't you dare take my blankie and make me get up!"

That is Tigger's old blanket he uses... She has been gone for almost a year now. I miss her.
