Keep the cute pictures coming - love them all!! I haven't tried to get Dozer in a Christmas outfit. Took him to the vet yesterday to get his shots and I put his gentle leader on. He looked so tormented with his doggy eyes. He even begged the tech to take it off. It turns him directly into a submissive doggy. But I must admit, he doesn't pull when he has it on. Totally different dog when I take it off.

    Split, Houston is adorable!!

Spookie, I always get a giggle when I hear you called your dog Kris. Such a great name.

GMA, I have to use a gentle lead on our little guy. He is just all over the place with a regular leash. He hates it and tries to get out of it when it's on. He has definitely been our most challenging rescue. He's a little stinker!!

This is Fletcher, my miniature pinscher. He is terrified of EVERYTHING, but still a sweet, warm dog. I spent a lot of my rads time cuddled up with him. A few years ago my cat bit off part of his right ear! Both ears got infected. The vet wanted to do something drastic to his ears. When I wouldn't allow him to chop Fletcher's ears off, he improvised a splint across Fletcher's head then bandaged in place, then put on a cap that kept the whole mess. That plus a soft collar made him look like a maiden in a medieval panting. AND it took care of the problem!

Without cap. And as usual, scared of the camera. Sigh..

Curlyq1974, your minpin is adorable! Fletcher would never let Santa hold him!

Kris is a rescue, don't know exactly when his bday is. Rescue thought it should be in Dec. So when they asked DH what he would name him, KrisKringle came out.

    Hohoho.

Cuddyclothes, OMG!!!! Adorable. Poor guy and his ear! We got Zeus at 9 weeks old and immediately started introducing him to everything and everyone. He fears NOTHING! I'm not sure that is so good, a little bit of fear keeps the little guys safe. He has no problem getting into really big dogs faces and it makes me nervous! Thank goodness we haven't had any bad things happen.

I can't believe you got pictures of a min pin not barking! My little red min pin, Mikey, yaps up a storm! Here he is in one of his rare quiet moments.

He's a rescue - about 12 or 13 years old now - we've had him 6 years. They're tough little dogs - in his younger days, he'd go on 10 mile mountain hikes with us, and still be rarin' to go when we were done. Then, almost two years ago he was dx with advanced heart valve issues. The veterinary cardiologist thought he'd be gone in about 6 months, but gave him some meds to try to prolong his lifespan. Two years later, he's still asymptomatic, and going strong. The vet is quite pleased that Mikey has proven him wrong so far.

He's an odd little dog - he hates pileated woodpeckers for some reason (those are the big Woody Woodpecker birds). Other woodpeckers can call all day long and it doesn't faze him, but when a pileated woodpecker gives its call, he goes crazy, barking into the air and trying to find that hated woodpecker. Who knows what goes on in that little min pin brain of his??

Dozer wishes all a Merry Christmas. I am on my way to revision surgery. Driving 3.5 hours with DH at the moment. Wish me luck. We got Dozer a doggy sitter. First time with both of us gone. Pray for him too.

Good luck, GMA - I had a couple of revisions and they were a lot easier compared to the main surgery! And I hope the pet sitter spoils Dozer rotten! Happy

GMA - hope things went well and you're having an uneventful recovery.

Mikey says Happy New Year to everyone! (Yes, we stuck Christmas bows on him as we unwrapped our presents - such a good boy to put up with our silliness!)

Well Dozer got spoiled while we were away - The gal brought friends with her to play with him. He had a wonderful time but glad we came home. My surgery went well, but the PS did more revision than I was expecting. He revised 5 scars and I have 75 visible stitches. They are hurting pretty good too. Don't remember my incisions being so sensitive last time. They look good though :-)..

Dozer got a Christmas present from the kids and really likes it.

I worked 6 nights thru Christmas Eve, Christmas and the weekend,, now I'm on my 6 days off. So I'm relaxing and visiting with friends now. Ava's adoption anniversary was the 31th,, 5 years!,,, so she got a big celebration cookie from the fancy dog bakery here in town. That bakery makes cookies that look like human cookies,, some have icing and everything.

The "kids" are crashed out after waking their mommy up. Hubby had gotten up a little earlier than me, so they think since daddy got up early, mommy needs to get up too. Most of the time when daddy gets up they go with them, then Princess will come back up and lay down on the bed near me til I get up.  Ha ha!
