Cancer does not run in my family but my mom was diagnosed at age 80 almost 6 weeks ago - left breast (6/10/16).
She had surgery 10 days later on 6/20/16 ... she chose to have a double mastectomy. Still waiting on results to decide if chemo will be warranted or not.

It was a a year ago now.
Bi-lateral mastectomy with lat dorsi reconstruction.
Tamoxifen for 10years. No radiotherapy, no chemo
