I do it the long way but it works for me! From my phone, I send it by email to myself. Then I just put in my picture library. I don't know if you need any further help but in case you do, look at the top bar of your message to us and hit the icon that is the "insert image" and browse your pics till you find the one you want and just hit "open" and it'll pop in.  I hope to see one in the next few minutes!!!

click on the "insert image" icon on the menu bar here in the text box where you write your messages...it's the icon next to the one showing the "links" like a chain link

then it will show you a window to browse your pictures till you find the one you want and you click on it and it will put it here for you

    I'm lost on names!

Have fun Laurie. I forgot to tell you that I had a D&C once, not bad. Hope it's not necessary. Diane, I love pink! I'm walking in the 3 day in November (DFW Komen). I just wish they didn't do the survivor thing...

I was taking a nap but my husband kept interrupting me. Now, I'm awake and he just fell asleep. He leaves for Nigeria tomorrow so I'll let him get by with it or I'd be talking away to keep him awake!

    Go Diane and Laurie!!! ThumbsUp

    Beverly - what a cute and fun-looking bunch :)

Polly - thanks for all the insight on MLD. Because of you I sought out a consult with an OT who showed me some self massage and I even got a sleeve today. It was worth it going for just a consult. I won't be able to go regularly because it's a 3 hour drive one way. There's a local specialist but she only works part time and it's hard to get in to see her. I can do the massage and exercises at home and even have a few massages that I will be assigning to the hubby :)).  I have Stage 0 lymphedema. So frustrating that this is happening, but oh well.... it's not unexpected. The sleeve seems to fit okay, although I'm not thrilled with the industrial strength beige. The OT said don't change anything - just live your life and wear it during certain times like when working in my garden, if I'm doing something strenuous, exercising, or driving etc. I'm hoping to order a few more colorful ones from www.lymphedivas.com. They have some that look like tattoos:)

I'm packing for the weekend - goin' up north to our happy place at the lake.

    Have a great weekend everyone!

bc101, I'm soooo glad you got what you need.  Even better that you stepped out there and made it happen. At first, I was scared to do anything other than what I was told so it's just been recently that I've been getting some of my control back, not over the disease, but some of the decisions. That doesn't sound right but you know what I mean.  Funny you mention that color. In one of my groups last month a lady was wearing a tan colored sleeve! I wondered why she hadn't bought one of the cute ones. Hers looked so tight. Keep me posted on how it feels.

    Have fun this weekend!

Polly - I know exactly what you mean . It's all about taking control. And it's never too late. Your doctors are there for you and if they're not working for you, they can be fired at any time. That goes for PTs, NPs and anyone who doesn't listen to you. I found lately that I've completely lost my patience for nurses or secretaries who are rude to me. That's happened more than once and all I can say is - it's NOT going to happen again.

Tip of the day from MM:

Laurie - Awesome shirt!!  You look fantastic with your cute sarong and your matching hair extension!  I hope you had fun and that it was a cleansing experience for you.  It was wonderful when I did the Avon Walk in 2010 for my friend.  So much feminine power in one place!  Fantastic.

Polly - Great that you will be donning the pink in a few months.

I was going through all my pink stuff last night.  I still have my pink running shoes and my BC ribbon socks.  Splurged on a new shirt, since it will be warm tomorrow and I can now wear those strappy exercise tops that were never an option before I got the bionic foobs. :)

You will all be there with me...I feel your support every day!

    Love,

    Diane.

Laurie - LOVE the shirt!!  Thank you for including us.  That's awesome.

Diane - Kudos to you on the training/diet.  I'd love to lose 10 pounds.  I've been exercising a lot more lately, but the scale isn't budging.  Of course my motivation is nowhere near as strong as yours!  Good luck tomorrow!

Beverly - Your kids are beautiful!

Speaking of lymphedema and sleeves.... I saw my occupational therapist yesterday and she recommended a sleeve for me since I'll be flying in a couple of weeks.  I haven't noticed any swelling in my arm (knock on wood), but I do have some puffiness going on behind my underarm area.... she did some lymphatic massage and I will see her again next week.  I have to drive 2 hours to see her, but I feel it's worth it since she's someone my surgeon recommends.  I'm looking at getting one of the Lymphedivas sleeves... just can't decide which one.  I'm leaning toward the pink camo one.

Went shopping for a dress tonight (going to a wedding tomorrow) with my daughter.  She makes me laugh - we had such a good time.  And I am not a dress person at all (give me my capris and flip flops!) but I found two that look good and are comfortable.... so can't complain.

hello. This is my first post in this group. The TE group never replied to me. I was wondering to those who have expanders in are the the same shape as they were your last fill? Mine seem like I have saggy skin on the bottom of the expander. I have an appointment with my PS on Monday to get him to look at it to make sure it's normal but I'm worried I have to go through more surgery/fills again. I'm so worried. I was just wondering if y'all have experienced any change in your expanders. Thanks!!

I had my mastectomy on January 30th.

    Lorbgoo,

Hi and welcome. I had my BMx on jan 29... Let's see... When I had the te in on my cancer side the base of my foob felt different. It was because of the sliders that was placed there I was told. The te were always changing a bit. I had some loose skin on the non cancer side on the inside near my cleavage. It's good that u r going to have it looked at... If not for any other reason but peace of mind. We certainly need that going through this process. Hope all checks out well. Keep us posted!!!

    Lorbgoo,

TEs are a real pain and they feel so weird all over. Mine always felt the same but then my PS filled them 100 cc at a time so I probably wouldn't have noticed my skin sagging. Maybe you PS is not filling yours as fast so they are still busy working internally. I agree, seeing your PS will be the best thing for you.  Keep us posted...and if writing here helps then keep on writing! We're all in the same time frame and in some stage of "construction" Loopy
