  • thanks guys

@moderators My MO discussed starting with just the injection and then adding in tamoxifen and an AI. I'm just nervous because the joint, muscle pain, mood swings and memory loss are going to be really hard with my job in an ER. I already sleep horribly so the night sweats and insomnia are concerning as well. I am really glad to find this form and others who have walked where I am about to.

    Hi there,

I'm honored to be in your group. I'm post double mastectomy and this experience has absolutely changed every facet of my life. I don't see anything the same anymore. It's not that it's bad it's just a whole different outlook. Is anyone else struggling with this?

@scchick I agree with you. The diagnosis and treatments change you. I feel I am not the same person. I have learnt some lessons and it has made me better in some ways, but I don't wish anyone to go through these experiences to be a better person, of course.

  • I just had my first Lupron injection on Friday. Its been hard to get a good idea of what to expect and how quickly to expect it. Can anyone give me the timeline of their experiences?

    Thanks
