Nancy, I know you guys will understand. Yes it is there, yes I can see it, I thought it odd that I had you as not having it, as I thought I'd seen it, but you know, chemo brain, I didn't see it when I looked before writing that post. Gee, maybe I should have scrolled up more.

Love to all. I've been reading but not posting. As a Triple Negative, I'm four months til my all clear date in June - 3 years cancer free. Fingers crossed. I have pain in my right hip and neck and after a MRI and xray it's arthritis. Hate the fear. I'll take that over the crappy cancer any day. Here's me with my daughter a month or two ago.
My sweet chocolate lab Walle is at the vet now having a cancer tumor removed from his leg. Sigh...hate cancer.
Love your spirit PinkNinja! You're strong and tough.
Watching and praying for all of you. Julie

Walle - how lovely! Oh and those chocolate labs and cancer... we finally put Bella on palliative care, instead of doing chemo. She lived happily another 3 years, best decision ever. Silly labs!

OK - selfie with hair, I'm going to continue with this and ultimately get one I really like, so hold your horses ladies, photos galore might be coming.

so yesterday wasn't fun. I had the worst migraine and was in bed all day. I'm feeling better today so hopefully I'll get to walk outside. I'm gonna try to fill out social security disability paperwork today. Who knew that when you're stage 4, you get it. I'm gonna enjoy the perks 😉 I got a permanent handicapped placard so no more parking far away!
I love be seeing all the pictures of everyone's hair. I may not lose mine on taxol, they tell me it might just get really thin. I'm not going to get my fohawk yet just in cas

Ugh about the migraine, Pinkninja. Yeah, my MO told me that Taxol isn't as tough on the hair as some of the harsher chemos. I hate paperwork, but if I can do it while I'm watching a movie or TV show, it's not as painful.
Thinking about you today, Mags, as you resume chemo. Hope you have few side effects this cycle!

We have the sweetest volunteers here; today it's Jackie, who is 87 and a survivor herself, so I asked her to take a picture for y'all. I'm wearing one of Shirley's beautiful caps, cotton so nice and cool. (Mid-60s outside today but very windy!) so here it is.

OK - do you all want to get jealous??? Of little ol' me??? I met Pink and her husband today. I know, you all wish you were me don't you. The only negative thing I have to say, is our Pink, who is the selfie goddess didn't get one of us, I could have crouched next to her chemo chair. Today was an 'easy one' just Taxol (I think) so she wasn't there for too long, but I stopped in for the last 45 min and then we sat outside, in this glorious spring weather and talked. In two weeks she has another 'all day', so if she is still up to it, I'll visit again then. Ladies, if any of you are close, I highly recommend you find each other an have lunch. WOW - if was such an uplifting thing. For 2.5 years, we have been saying we must get together, we only live about 30 miles from each other and pass each other's exits off the interstate reguarly, but... we never have. I'm sorry Pink being diagnosed with Stage IV is what it took but thrilled to have finally met this wonderful lady who has been in my heart and prayers (as all my July sisters have) for so long.

it was awesome finally meeting twins! too bad we can't find a place in the middle of where everyone's at and meet. that would be cool!
I'm a little bummedwith my ew feb 2017 chemo group. she's moving the group to facebook since so many younger people are on there and they think it'll be easier to keep up with each other on there. That means that people who come after us won't have the opportunity to read all of our stuff and advice, etc. I think I'll just continue to use the group here and just check on fb once in a while. this group was the biggest blessing and Mags did such a great job being our "boss" lol
I'm actually on several other groups that really meet my needs more than that one anyways, so no biggie.
Yesterday after #2, i felt pretty good although I had forgotten about the burning peeing sensation! I've drank so much water and peed so much so hopefully that won't happen much longer. woke up with a headache so I'm praying it won't turn into a migraine today. I'm going to my women's Bible study no matter what! I missed last week cause I felt so horrible but not today!
Have a great day all!
Mags, you ok?

My sweet volunteer Jackie took my picture with my coral Shirley cap and we talked about this group and how important you all are to me.
I have my favorite infusion nurse, Ashley, and my port gave a draw on the first try. Woohoo! Oh, and someone rang the bell today! My cousin has gone to Sprouts to get me some soup for lunch. That's become our habit.
I have mostly slept all week, doing a little of my PT exercises when I think of it. Appetite has two settings: off, and eat everything I can find. Except sweets. The only sweet thing is coffee now. (I like coffee mate Italian Sweet Cream.) And I've lost about 17 lbs but as you can see above, I can well afford to.
Pink, we all did Snoopy dances at your brain news. Love you all.

yeah Mags! I was worried about you. I've had a great day and felt so much better than yesterday. I only had Taxol on Tuesday and boy what a difference to only get one thing. The m still nauseous and have pain but was able to go to the mall for an hour and buy some of those cute little sweatpant capris that all these youngins are wearing. I may never wear real pants or jeans again! Hello stretchy waistbands 😉

Glad to hear from both of you, Mags and Pink. Yes, stretchy waistbands are so comfy. I don't wear jeans or real pants myself (even to work).
