Lisa, love the tulips and I can't think of the name of the other flowers. Pretty colors.

I don't use my phone all that much so I am no help when it comes to the transfering of pics. I do know that the same photo can look different on different programs within your computer so i suppose that would hold true of your phone as well.

Nancy, I'm so glad that you're near the end of your PT and your cat is doing better!! I've had chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia since 1992.

Lisa, I love those pink flowers, my favourite colour!! I don't know about sending photos from phones either, sorry.

Beautiful display, Lisa. Well done. Is this exhibit a part of the San Diego Zoo?

I got some shocking news yesterday. My mammogram showed some problems so I have to return on Tues for more images and an ultrasound if needed. I went out with my camera today and it was a great distraction. I went to the orchid nursery.

Nancy, it was the Safari Park of the San Diego zoo.

So sorry about the call back. Let us know how it goes. Hugs to you.

bandwoman1234 Yes, please keep us posted. I'm so sorry you have this scare. Orchids and photography sound like a good distraction plan.

SoCalLisa - wow! Gorgeous butterflies - thanks for sharing those.

Nancy, I'm sorry that your mammogram showed some problems. I pray it's nothing of concern and that you have peace. Sending hugs.

Thank you ladies. I will definitely let you know when I find out anything.

Lisa, we have a butterfly exhibit at the Brookfield Zoo but I have never seen it. I have been thinking about getting a membership to the zoo. It would be closer than going up to the Chicago Botanic Garden to their butterfly exhibit.

Here are some of my pleasant distractions from yesterday.

bandwoman1234 Beautiful!!! In 2014 I was in the Amazon in Ecuador, learning about ethnobotany and birds and orchids and their hosts, on an ecotour. I'm nuts about orchids; thanks for sharing!

Thanks Hiking. Your Ecuador trip sounds amazing. A gardener friend introduced me to this orchid nursery a few years ago. I have been fascinated by them ever since.

Loving the orchids! There was a huge exhibit here today, but I didn't get there...thanks for posting, Nancy

We are members of the SanDiego Zoo, and they had a dinner to open this year's butterfly exhibit. It was fun.

I try to get to the Zoo in downtown San Diego as often as I can. I only stay and see one or two exhibits. Enough for

one day, and hard on my walking..

I took this years ago at the Wild Animal Park

Lisa, your animal photos are great, especially the panda! Awwww!

Now that the weather is a bit warmer and I'm planning a trip to Florida, I'll get my camera charged and ready. This thread provides great inspiration.

Lisa, that sounds like a fun way to celebrate the opening of the Butterfly exhibit. Our exhibits don't start until later in May but I am chopping at the bit. Love your animal pics. The Panda is SOOOOOOOO cute. The Chicago Botanic Garden has an orchid show and has a time especially for photographers but it is such a drive up there and I would have to get up WAY too early for me these days. The drive itself is always nerve racking for me but I do venture up for the butterflies since I don't have to leave so early.

Magic, I love your B&W photo of an egret ( I am assuming.) Glad you like the orange orchids.

Cathy, thank you. Those particular orchids are so tiny and cute.

Ladies, I had my repeat mammogram which resulted in an ultrasound. They found a small solid nodule which will be biopsied on Friday. I won't hear anything until around Wed. This has certainly not what I had expected for sure. I see my breast surgeon tomorrow as I already had that apt on the books and was told to keep it. Hopefully I will understand the maybes and options with different scenarios. So I finish PT on Thursday to jump into a completely different issue the next day. The timing on that is good. I sure never expected this to be my 5yr celebration like this!!!

well rats Nancy. At least you know the ropes this time. I have had 3 call backs over 18 years and I am still always dreading the outcomes. But you are here now and I am sending a very warm hug.
