Lovely pixs Lisa and glad you got some help with your house. I could not live without my weekly housekeeper. Dh and I barely have time for laundry and dinner after work and nothing else.
I have decided to photograph dd and her boyfriend in our botanical gardens when he visits in March. I've been wanting some group photos there for my website.

Scottie, that sounds like a fun project for March.
Lisa, pretty flower. Is that a poppy? Glad you are getting out some. I have my biopsy tomorrow and have been doing some spring cleaning early in case my thyroid will be totally removed. Hopefully that cleaning will make spring get here faster too. I can always hope!

Any word on the biopsy?

Lisa, I got sick during the procedure and she didn't want to proceed. I had to have ten pokes in the throat and when she had got three done she said you are doing great. Then on the fourth one I was feeling okay one second and very sick the next. I ended up getting sick and she couldn't get to the second nodule. I wanted to proceed again but the doctor said no. I went home being very frustrated and not sure if I had a virus or what. Today I am not feeling well so that is the case. My thyroid blood levels are really way off. i have taken thyroid meds for years. So we are in the process of trying to get that back to normal range. I have not been sleeping very well and that is probably the reason. I may have to decide if I want surgery or not if it is benign and I really am not sure how to proceed. I won't get results for a week so I have made the mistake of looking online and that is never a good idea. I think something needs to be done as I keep producing these nodules and more this year than last. There is some pain invovled but I am not sure if it is coming from the nodule or what. So time will tell.
It sounds like you are doing well and getting out with your camera. Are you able to use both arms yet? Thanks for asking.

Bandwoman. . .sending you hugs. Can they not give you something before the procedure? I can'tell even do an MRI without something.

Scottie, I am not sure about that. It is probably not usual practice. I ended up not feeling well for several days so I think I had a touch of something and with the stress of everything it just came out right at a very inopportune time. If I have surgery it won't matter but we'll see. Thanks.

Sorry Lisa, i must have missed your post. Just now seeing it. The sunset ? pics are gorgeous. I will have to send you some robin pics I got recently. Hopefully and early spring sign. Your flowering bush is a great sign of things to come as well.
My biopsy was inconclusive. So the hundred dollar question............what am I going to do now. I don't know yet. My alt doc in charge of my thyroid meds would like for me to get a second opinion from an ENT who could do the surgery. I was seeing an endocrinologist who did the biopsy but she doesn't do surgery.
My endo did not recommend surgery immediately but that is certainly still a possibility. If I have persistent pain then I would have surgery. My thyroid blood levels have been really strange and having to change dosage on my thyroid meds. I am going to be trying a new compounding med when ever it comes in the mail. We'll see what that will do for it. In the mean time I am waiting and not rushing into anything just yet. Thanks for asking.

Bandwoman. . .sorry you did not get a more definitive answer. Maybe the ENT will have more answers. My ds just had esophageal biopsies last Tuesday and we get the results Friday. A positive means they can use another med to treat his worsening asthma. Negative means surgery was for nothing and we still won't know what's causing it to progress at this point.
Lovely pixs Lisa. My Japanese magnolia is about to burst into bloom, which it does every year right before a hard freeze so we never get to enjoy the blooms. We might get ice and snow tonight or Friday or not at all. The weatherman can't give a straight answer here.

Had to go to a funeral today here. At least the weather was perfect. I didn't get a chance to straighten this picture, but you can get the idea.
Thyroids are tricky .My mother had Graves disease and it is a real problem still, years later. Good luck and hope you get some answers

Oh Lisa, it does my heart good to know there is a butterfly somewhere in the US right now.
I got one of these pics on Jan. 30 which is pretty unusual. I saw a whole flock of robins.
This one on the bottom was taken in my yard just a few days ago. Spring is coming no matter what the temps say right now!

love to see robins. I have never seen one here.

Lisa, what an adorable picture. Such a beauty. As we are getting quite the snowfall right now it is so nice to dream about what is to come. I can't complain at all. We have had a very mild winter overall. How is your arm doing?

One day at a time, Nancy. Many of my muscles have not been active for almost a year, so it will be a long PT
Any more word from the ENT?

Yes, Lisa, i understand the one day at a time. I am in a waiting to see if new meds will work phase. So far I have had GI trouble ever since I started on it so this is not a good sign. I have not felt like jumping in with another doctor yet so we'll see. Hang in there with your PT. I understand how long it takes concerning muscles.

I was watching my 47 year old son playing baseball today in a tournament. He never gives up
he loves the game, but there I saw what reminded me of "The Road Not Taken"

I have a zoo membership so it's one of my backup places. I usually only want to see one or 2 animals because of the walking up and down. But I love the orangs.
