Twinnie, Your beach looks so peaceful. I wish I could come see it in person!!
Eggroll, You can throw a few fish in your bathtub and pretend you're on a tropical island.
We will all be in your pocket tomorrow for your MO appointment. Please update us when you get the chance.
JAN, You get extra hugs today!!! (((((JAN))))) You can come sit by me and I will serve you tea and chocolate chip cookies.
Molly, I love my BS too!
Poppy, Wishing you quick healing. I hope you're not in too much pain.
lcm, I think it must have been a thing of the 70's. Did you take a picture on the donkey too?
Bekah, Sisters are the best. My sister and I talk on the phone daily. We only live about twenty minutes from each other. I'm glad you had a good day together.
Ducky, The crates are adorable!! I agree with Lucy....I love Bobby's Books and I can just picture him digging in the crate.
I can't seem to sleep tonight. I'm sitting in my family room listening to the rain on the Alumawood patio cover. I love that sound.
I'm so thankful for the wonderful women in our crazy little town.
Sleep well beautiful crazies....quiet crazies too.

Katy...Hi and waving at you
Bekah...So beautiful to have a nice relationship with your sister. I have two sisters...one has not spoken to me since my mother passed away in 2010 and my sister who is a year younger than me...we have a few nice moments, but not too often. Treasure that sisterhood.
Eggroll...Hope you have a great visit with your MO.
Jan...I am happy that your US showed "nothing interesting".
Molly...I absolutely love my MO. She is the best and she listens to all my concerns and assures me that I am not as crazy as I think I am. She mentioned to me that she could show me crazy with some of her patients. I know it was TMI...but I love her.
Ducky...That grandson of yours does beautiful work. I need that "yarn barn" for all my knitting stash.
Slow...Hope you finally get to sleep...I just checked...I am available to meet near the end of July. Our convention is 7/15-7/17. Just let me know.

Bekah, I treasure my sister especially since our other sister passed away at the age of 56. Beppy, I am glad you got rained on. We got skipped over so I put some rain sounds on the streaming service to fall asleep to. I got about 5.5 hours of sleep which is a relief after two days of barely 4 hours. Two more weeks of the crazy work stuff.

ducky, i love all of your grandsons boxes, i agree that folks would buy them but times those items take way tons of time and I am sure those do as well
Sisters, ,mine stopped talking to me when my nephews were about 8 and 12 or something. I had no idea why, when my brother passed, we started talking again. I have been to mass several times now to visit and regealize that it was not me but she was in a very messy divorce divorce is past, boys are now men.
Wish we had not missed those years
Ok, so birthday today, gotta think on age. Rainny today so my beach plans may be delayed

Hello all! OK so I had my first post treatment mammogram, on my remaining breast yesterday. Sailed through it no worries. Today I am freaking out waiting. Can't imagine actually picking up the phone. It was a year ago yesterday that I was dxd and I remember that voice-mail and how hard it was to call my doc back... I swear I could hear it in her voice on the message. 😢
I'm sure it's fine, my MRI last month was totally clear, but man I'm wishing a bit right now that I'd had a double MX.
OK, I'm going to pull it together and go to Ikea and probably buy a bunch of throw pillows. 😀
CRAZY TOWN!

Beppy, I don't remember a photo of me with the donkey, maybe one of my sisters did.
For all those who have lost sisters, I am sad for that.
For all those who aren't in touch with sisters, I hope things get better. I have six sisters. I stay in touch with five of them. One of them causes madness and mayhem wherever she goes, so has alienated the rest of us. I wish it wasn't that way, we try to give her chances, but it always ends up that way. It makes me sad for her.
Happy Birthday, Iris.
Cali, hoping for good results.
Ducky, I love those crates your grandson makes. Where does he sell them? Somewhere online? He is very talented, that boy.
Bekah, it is nice to have a sister who can give you medicine. One of my sisters is a nurse practitioner, another is a nurse anesthetist.
Lovely day, crazy town ladies. I am going to the Piggly Wiggly because we need meat.

Lisa - I'm a PA so I'm the one that gives her meds. But she's a cop so she can sign of my fix-it tickets 😜

Happy birthday, Iris! Welcome, Celldancer! Your offspring are not just gorgeous and smart but talented, ducky!
Got some great news today--my friend's surgical path from her bmx came back: pure DCIS in the L, no invasive disease in either breast; and the R one did have some “radial scarring” containing the previously-diagnosed ADH that was definitely pre-cancerous, so she was wise to have that breast removed prophylactically. She's off all pain meds. Her drains are still in and putting out copiously, but she does now have a home-health nurse (female) who comes in every other day, plus her cleaning woman and nearby friends. So all that remains is the healing.

Now hoping for sun tomorrow

Bekah, I saw in one of your posts that you were a PA, then saw where you gave your sis a shot. I meant it was nice for your sister, that she has a sister who can give her medicine. My sister, the NP, was very eager to help me out during chemo, in case I needed anything. Now, too, if I get sick or something, it's nice to have her help with that. My husband is a cop, so he can get us out of a ticket. I have never been pulled over, so have yet to test that out. I may do that one day before he retires, just so I can do that. Some of used our stepfather's name to get out of trouble; he was a cop, too. Lots of cops and medical people in our family. It's nice to know people.
Great news from your friend, Sandy.

Follow up appointment with oncologist... it came up that my Oncotype Score of 14, that the 9% chance of recurrence was based on me taking Tamoxifen (or AI's I think also?), and that without any hormonal treatment, my recurrence potential would be 18%, but he felt with the small size of my tumor, that is was probably half of that, so he would be comfortable if it ended up I can't tolerate AI's either. Apparently Oncotype gets a little sliver of your tumor, and they have no idea how big the whole of it is, so it's just based on the tumor being any size up to 2 cm . . . so this shocked me, that the test may not be all that accurate because it doesn't account for the size of the tumor?? Wow. That's good news for me but kind of feeds my paranoia that the medical field doesn't know what they're doing as much as they want us to think... oh well. I do like my oncologist, he's super!

Sorry for the delay in your welcome basket, CaliDancer! (I was off distracting myself at the local start to the summer season, the Blossomtime Parade--fruit farming's big around here. An hour and a half of impossibly cute high school bands and Blossomtime Courts from neighboring towns, not-so-cute politicians, and police precision drill teams.)
Your basket includes all the standard items--plump kitten/puppy/turtle/duckling, triple latte with ativan sprinkles, wet wipes to check those Mysterious Brown Stains (serves us right for eating cookies in bed!), hand mirrors to check those awkward spots for imaginary mets, and a key to your dedicated room at the CrazyTown Inn. (also a tray of watercress sandwiches and 'brown betty' teapot of tea blend du jour) Your special items are The One Perfect Bathing Suit, with coverup and hat in flattering style/color, and a Baccarat champagne flute, engraved NED
