Lovepugs, best wishes with Diana.  Let us know what the vet says tomorrow.

I woke up to something spooky this morning.  We have a small dollhouse for the granddaughters and it is full of tiny toys, furniture, and pets.  This morning the toy kitty was on the floor, right where Jasmine used to sleep.  Our other cat never goes near the dollhouse.  Could it have been a sign from Jasmine?  It gives me chills to think about it.

Could have been a message from her that she is coming around to make sure that ou are okay.

Grace got to see her first snow and she watched the birds with her big sister for the very first time. We got them a new cat tree last night. Mommy sat on the floor while putting it together and the two of them were trying to get in the way.

corky60 -- Shortly after Willow died, I have a photo of her on a shelf, suddenly the photo fluttered to the ground. No one was near it. None of the other pictures or items on the shelf fell. I have to admit.....it did make me pause....

lovepugs...I'm so sorry Diana is still unwell. Someone on here posted about euthanasia: "it's always too early or too late" and I could totally relate. I feel I may have let Willow be ill too long, but I also adamantly didn't want to euthanize her when she was still eating and getting around and having more good days than bad...it's really an impossible decision. Let us know how it goes.

best wishes for Diana. It's just so difficult. It just such an empty feeling around the home after we lose our cats. I hated coming home. I'm thinking of those of you that have had a recent loss.

I had to say goodbye to my sweet girl yesterday. The x-rays showed she had a tumor on her spleen, and either another tumor or some other sort of blockage in her esophagus - most likely a tumor. The house feels quite empty without her, even though I have three other kitties. We had 16 great years together, and I'm left with a ton of wonderful memories and stories about my Diana.

Love pugs, so sorry for your loss. She is in peace now. When our cats passed, it took awhile to get use to not having them here. They are family

Lovepugs, I'm so sorry for your loss. Cats are such little troopers we think they'll last forever. I know you'll miss her for a long time.

Oh Lovepugs, I am so so sorry on your loss. Diana was a beauty. My Willow was also born in 2002, so two special furry treasures were born that year. I share that feeling of emptiness and heartbreak. My sincere condolences.

lovepugs, I’m so sorry for your loss. My sweet Tracey was with me 16 years before she got sick and I had to let her go. I still miss her. You will be in my thoughts.

Here’s a little smile for you image

TaRenee, that actually made me laugh out loud. My mom has two outdoor cats, and she told me that the female killed a squirrel yesterday and left in the garage for her as a present. Shocked

TaRenee, I once had a cat who loved to bring presents of dead mice and voles.  Once however I let her in the house in the middle of the night not noticing that the mouse in her mouth was alive.  I spent the next hour trying to capture it in a box.  I eventually let it go in a nearby field.  My cat spent the next day hunting in the dining room for the mouse.

Glad you all appreciated the humor. My sweet Tacey once sat in the kitchen and cried for what seemed like forever. I could not for the life of me, figure out what was wrong. She had food. She had water. The litter boxes were clean. I gave her wet food, still with the crying at me. A few days later I went to the cabinet to get the bird food because the feeders on the porch were empty. There was nothing left but poop and seed hulls. Apparently THAT was what she was crying at me for. I just looked at her and said, well why didn't you SAY something!?

Merlin, he's a whole other story. He chases anything that moves, and even what doesn't. He figured out how to open the cabinet to get to the potato chip bag. Darn cat! If he thinks something is in there, he will get it. Little vampire! lo

DD has 2 cats, girl, Kitten. Boy, Hemingway, aka BratCat. Took spookie with me Sat to stay with grandkids a few hours. Also took her breakfast and put it down there. BratCat bullies the heck over Kitten. Didn’t quite know what to think of this invader in his house. But watched Spookie eat from under the coffee table. Then he moved for a better view. She’d had enough and laid down by the dish, watching him watching her.oooh Food!!! He made his move. One. Paw. At. A. Time.

She went up like a rocket after him. He skidded to a stop around the corner and had THE most surprised look on his face, Kitten NEVER stands up to him. DD laughed and said good for Spookie, served him right. She snarfed the rest of her food. He was still puzzled by the whole morning when we left.

Always fun to see a bully get a taste of his own medicine. A foster cat did that to my bully cat. I didn't see what happened, but obviously the bully lost. She would back down the hallway if she saw foster cat at the other end.

Got up to my Princess and Grace having one terrific play session under Daddy's supervision. They are still going at it. First it was on there cat tree and now it has gone to chasing each other around. Hope they tire out soon, I have lots of prep work for tomorrow to do.
