Spookiesmom - I think cats live to cause trouble. Mac not only climbed the ladder but then contemplated jumping for the top of the tree which was probably 6 feet away. I would have had to put out a hit on him had he actually done it. I think my loud screams deterred him but his look was still pretty disdainful.

A hit would have been a good idea too😂😂😂. He’s left the tree itself alone, just the felt ornaments. His cat tree was next to it, infront of a window. I moved it, and he’s been pacing and protesting all night.

Midnight Louie is always looking for trouble.
I do have a question...Miss Felix, my 25 year old cat, no longer grooms herself. I have been brushing her, but she has a matted area. I has worked on it everyday, but can't get it worked out. Any suggestions?

Petite, Maybe there's something about torties. My heart kitty was a sortie and looked a lot like Miss Felix. Maybe it's just their fortitude.

Midnight Louie seems to be grieving. Last night he seemed afraid of me and didn't want to be petted or sit on my lap. He is sleeping a lot. He does keep checking where Miss Felix use to sleep and where my DH sat or slept. (My wonderful husband passed a few days after Miss Felix) I need to see you cute cat pictures. They make me smile.

Petite, Midnight Louie is grieving also. I have seen really depressed cats at the shelter who have lost their owner, so I'm not surprised he is missing both Miss Felix and your DH. You've both been through a lot in the past month. Hugs for both of you.
