Two of my cats had bad days. Rocky snuck into the garage when i went out to get more litter. He was stuck there for several hours. Marbles followed me into the office when I went to get a paper off the printer. She was locked in for a couple of hours. Sometimes I feel like I am a bad cat mom.

And this is what happens when Mr Nosey gets his nose where it doesn’t belong and get nudged away image

Yeah I was in ER last night.

Spookiesmom. Hope you are OK. That looks nasty.

Wren44. Mine don't learn usually it is just one or the other. Yesterday it was both. The two in question are vocal so eventually they get found. My 20 plus pound cat has a loud purr but a very quiet meow. LOL My feral I have never heard purr or meow. Those two would be in serious trouble if left behind. LOL

Ouch spookiesmom. Did you get stitches?

I’ve locked my black cat in the closet and pantry, brutersmom. He wasn’t happy about it.

We had a black cat that didn't meow. We would see her leg coming from under the door asking to be let back in.

No stitches, they said my skin was too thin and fragile. I have a lot of edema in my legs, so it is oozing, Tylenol is working for pain. I’ll call PCP Monday am, probably get sent to wound care Dr. Am on antibiotics they said even though he’s an indoor only cat his feet were dirty

I won’t send Pywacket to the Daisy Hill Kitty farm, it really wasn’t his fault.

My DD worked with monkeys who are filthy. The vet techs swore by betadyne

Betadine used to be touted for wound care but it actually was found to inhibit wound healing and tissue granulation. So can be used for topical skin prep but not in open wounds. Hope you do get referral to wound care specialist for that wound. Try to reduce edema by propping leg when you can because this can also effect wound healing. If you can get a referral to a wound/ostomy/continent care nurse this would be your best bet because that is who most MD's refer their patients to for wound care. Hope it heals quickly.

Yes, have appointment with wound care Dr Thursday. He took care of a wound I had last summer. It’s his specialty. Then he used some blue foam stuff, don’t know the name, good stuff. I heal slow. It’s still oozing a bit, doesn’t hurt too much now.

I was doing a craft, nosey wanted to see, so put paws on ottoman. Looked liked he was going to jump up and get in the beads and sequins. I nudged him away. He lost his balance possibly mid jump. image

    The craft project.

He had fun sometime last night playing with the purple toy. I never heard him. Guess I’m lucky the toy didn’t get into the toilet 😹😹😹
