I really can't decide which is worse - constipation or diarrhea. Same as first round, 1 week of constipation followed by a week or more of diarrhea. I hate it that we just get to feeling better than we have to do this all again!

Constipation, hands down for me. Always a sense of let down on top of all of the other unwelcome physical effects.

Hair is fleeing fast and furious today! Got my first clump when I just tucked it behind my ears. Let the games begin! will probably go for the buzz by Monday. Maybe Tuesday if this Monday is anything like the miserable Monday after my first round

Arista928 First of all best of luck wiith your scans.  When I was diagnosed I was recovering from a cold, the cough lingered longer than usual of course I was convinced it was lung cancer.  I asked my surgeon who said its not lung cancer and its a normal response for people that are diagnosed to think that every pain is cancer.  I had all my scans and of course you are apprehensive I was doing ok until they wanted a better look at my neck.  Turns out its arthritus. My mum who had BC at 35 and who is still with us today and looking after me at the moment said that the fear stays with you for many years, you automatically think every pain is cancer but it does lessen as time passes by.  Can't wait for you to get your scans out the way I maintain the waiting is the worse.

Hi Arista928 waiting is the worse and all best with your scans.  My mother had breast cancer at 35 and a couple of recurrences, she is currently looking after me.  She said for a long time you are convinced that every pain, cough, twinge you have is cancer as time passes this lessens.  I had a lingering cough which I was convinced was lung cancer I queried it with my surgeon who said its not and its a very normal response when people are diagnosed to think everything is cancer.  I was reasonably calm when I was having my scans until they took extra scans of my neck and spine...turns out its arthritus.  Here's praying for clear scans for you xxx

Annie- have you tried taking probiotics at all? They have helped me. Also try eating yogurt with active cultures. Your normal flora in your GI tract gets knocked out by the chemo and these two things will hopefully help with the big D

Diarrhea or Constipation we do get choices there just not great ones.  I think constipation is worse I passed a hard one the other day and now I have small amount of bleeding and a ring of fire...mortifying to share this...hoping there is no such thing as butt hole infection and hoping I don't get a butt holeinfection.  Gotten so used to every man and his dog looking at my breasts would like to keep my butt hole to myself.

Cinque lmao! I was thinking the same thing. Please don't let my butt get problems! I can't handle any more men groping my privates!

Yes please may I keep 1 orafice to myself.

Cinque..laughing myself silly over that one. Yes, everyone and his mother has poked and prodded my now defunct breasts so lets have a bit of dignity left.

Cinque, it's constipation here, 3 x-rays in as many weeks, umpteen different products and still full of it! Grrrrrr will be taking a colonoscopy prep on Wednesday, waiting until then as my son has come from out of state to visit. I totally feel your pain... Just finished round 4 of Taxol/Herceptin and hair is falling out slowly in clumps. The question is has anyone had severe pain in the roots? Should I shave it? Would my head feel better, like it's not in a vice anymore? Hugs to all

Chevygirl I ate a tub of blueberries yesterday and watermelon and that seems to have got things back on the move.  Yours sound so much worse...this is what I look like when I go😠  My scalp definately hurt prior to hair pulling of the great escape.  I also had headaches I just used paracetamol to get through I can't remember how long it lasted its like labour after its over you forget the pain and you have a beautiful baby.  Lets hope we are able to forget all this pain when we get our lives back.

Anyone know grey's full user name for sure? I'm not finding her frantic posts from last night and not on the member list either. Maybe she deleted herself? :?

greytmph2 doesn't show up either. Those who read her posts of despair with the rain and infection possibility last night, remember? Those are all gone but our responses to get checked asap are here.

I remember her posts from last night. I remember her posting that she needed space and was walking the dog or something like that. I feel bad that her ride home ditched her.

Maybe that's why the pages got changed. I could have sworn we were on page 80. Then I came back and 80 didn't exist anymore.

On another note, I hope she is seeing someone and can get some meds for the high anxiety and major depression. Makes a world of difference in being able to deal with life if you are struggling so.

But, you can still view these boards as a guest and not be a member? Can't remember. If so, she may at least read the threads.

Oh wow, I didn't know we could delete ourselves like that. I can't imagine going through all of this alone like she is. I really hope she utilizes some of the great resources some of y'all have offered, so she can get the help she needs
