Patty,
I am lifting you and your sons up in prayer. Your sons are filled with your love and strength, and you will always be with them. Enjoy your visits with your sisters. Get the packing done, if you can, but spend time talking and laughing and reliving good memories. That is more important. Your sons are probably trying to keep up those happy faces to make things easier for you. I know you want to see their real emotions, but I think what you are seeing is the real "them." They want to do whatever they can for the Mom the love so much. Right now, to them, it means letting you know they will be okay even though they are feeling so much pain and will miss you deeply. Just keep hugging them and telling them you love them. That's the best thing for them.
I am sorry you are experiencing so much pain and facing such uncertain times. Sometimes music can help us during difficult times. One of my favorite songs when I need comfort and strength is How Great Thou Art. I listen to it or sing it or just let in run through my mind and feel the reassurance I want. Maybe you have a song like that, too. You know that God has you in His arms. He will not let the fears overwhelm you.
Have a peaceful day and experience all the little moments ofjoys it brings.
Hugs and prayers from, Lynne

Patty, lifting you up in prayer as well as your sons. Praying for peace and lots of love. Praying for the time you need to get things settled the way you want. Praying for a lot less pain. You are such a strong woman and you always think of others before yourself. Take some time for you while your sisters are there’s and just enjoy their visit.

Dearest Patty,
This is a prayer that I pray every day (and b4 I go to sleep), incorporating it into my other prayers as I pray it for ALL of us.
"Dear Lord,
Please shield us from unnecessary worry and anxiety. We are always in Your hands, after all. Please replace our fear and doubt with hope and trust, and replace our despair with a stronger faith and peaceful acceptance of Your perfect will and timing for us. We ask these things in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ."
Your boys WILL face some challenges after you transition, but they will do fine. You have given them a FIRM foundation.
I lost my mom to Stage IV soft tissue sarcoma cancer when I was in high school, but I had lots of "surrogate" moms in the neighbor hood to help me get thru it.
Always keeping you in prayer,
Lita

Dear Patty - If you are accepting prayers, I would be honored to send them. I work near St Patrick's Cathedral in New York, and if you don't mind, I think it would be nice to light a candle for you and your DSS's when I visit. You bring light, hope and love - even to a stranger. An honor to have a little bit of that light of yours shining in our busy city. Wishing you only love,
Love,

Hi Patty. I am hoping your sister or bestie will keep us posted when you need your rest and just don't feel like talking to us.
You are and continue to be so honest about your emotions and life in general. I "met" you when you were thinking about a divorce and posting your decisions. Then not only did you divorce, you up and moved to an apartment, all this while not feeling well.
You put those boys first..it comes through strong in your words. You are an amazing woman and mom.
Hootie hoo to you!

Patty, I always love seeing you on the game boards!
I think of you daily (and in the middle of the night when sometimes I might catch one of your witty word answers).
Sending Love and Gentle ((Hugs))

patty you and your DSS are in my prayers. I know you want the boys to show their true feelings but they are trying to take care of you just like you took care of them. If you are anything like the rest of us with children you never showed when you were hurting or just didn't feel good (you protected them) and that's what they are doing for you.
rest peacefully and I hope they are able to make the pain less.

Oh dear Patty, sending you so much love and strength.
You have been a wonderful mother to your two dear sons. They have a firm foundation, and they will remember you with love always.
I will be lighting candles for you as well.
These are my favorite hymns when I need strength:
How Great Thou Art and Lord of All Hopefulness https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-D_aT8CXycIf you need more music, here's the choir festival: https://www.oceangrove.org/worship-events

Dear Patty,
You and your family are in my heart and prayers. I am sad with you, and I pray that the Lord extend your life for the sake of your sons. I have prayed throughout the day for you, and it brings me to tears. Please write them love letters every day that you have the strength. Know that God loves you, Patty, and He will take care of your sons. I wish I could be there to help you. You are so funny, witty, and playful. I've enjoyed your company on the game boards. Thank you for sharing your faith with us. It will live on in your children. Please tell them to never let it go, know matter what plans God has for us. His ways are higher ways, and He will make things come together for good. God bless you, all the days of your life for all eternity.
Loves and hugs,
Janet 😚🤗💕🙏
