I am up. Can't sleep. My brain won't shut off. So many big things I got done now have to revamp the small ones. My lil sister will be here from IL early Friday am. Then gotta pack up boxes to move my stuff again. Gonna thin down more stuff. Amazing what little we can get by on. Still hoping ss1 from ALwill come next but now she is in a nearly full arm cast so like me she can boss people around - not much help - other then physical. I never ever dreamed - or didn't want to - go down thru this road. Weird how we try so hard not to let something happen but yet here it is. My biggest fear was dss finding me dead. Guess that won't be happening. I get a pass from here anytime I need it's just not the same
Dr says 2-3 weeks life expectancy and I know he isn't God but I am so so sick and exhausted. It's just all so very much to take in. Dss are being troopers in front of me but I want real emotions not painted smile pics. Good or bad. So school is starting back and I don't wanna die with school just starting but again no control.
Ok God please help me out of these circumstances. At least time tonto get them back in the swing of things.

Oh, Patty🙏🙏🙏🙏 for you and your sons!! I feel with school starting, your sons will cope better with the routine and structure plus friends support. I hope you know you have raised them to be fine young men, your loving and guidance will be something that will endure the rest of their lives. I have followed you since I became a member of BCO. It was your name that caught my attention. It reminded me of Charlie Brown's Peppermint Patty. I loved those shows when I was a little girl. The excitement of the Halloween and Christmas specials.
I am sending love and prayers for comfort. Is there anything I can do for your DSS? They have a special little place in my prayers (as well as you) if you think sending cards of encouragement or just a reminder of how much you love them will help I would be very dedicated to doing that. I'm sure there are probably 100 other sister's here who would do this for you and your DSS.
Rest well, soak up the sun and know that God's grace will always shine in you.

Patty - you know you are in our prayers all the time. You have always been such an inspiration to us all. Your sons have inherited your incredible strength and you will live in and through them forever. They will feel your touch and see you in a shiny penny, a yummy piece of peppermint candy, and a butterfly that flits on the breeze. You will never leave them. For now, talk to them. Know that you are channeling all of your love and strength to them.
