Awesome. If you have any leftovers, send them my way; my kitchen remodel is not going as fast originally planned (which really shouldn't be a surprise, right?)!

    cathy. Hi

Ruth. A few leftovers. Cod and carrots. Everything else gone. Remodeling always takes longer and cost more then expected. Hang in there. Soon you'll be posting pics making us jealous

It's not a big, fancy kitchen; but will hopefully look better than it did before with it's 38 years old everything!

    Patty,

Yay you! Feeling better, driving with DS, cooking supper.....good stuff 😊

New drivers, once they get the hang of it all, are the best! Those first six months or so, the young 'uns will drive anywhere, anytime, any reason. Errands, groceries, appointments......it's wonderful! Being "chauffeured" is lovely and a nice way to get some quality time together too.

I saw this and thought it brilliant - We should have done this for my step-son!

aww. Many thanks for so much support ladies. I truly wouldn't have kept fighting without the support of so many on bco. Tears thanks

Another good report. Slept great. Doing good today. So excited. I feel like FINALLY there is the possibility that I won't have to live with constant debilitating pain. ! Makes the idea of living exciting !! For a long time I just haven't wanted to survive. Not being in constant pain, living pain meds and only seeing the couch and recliner. It's been a little over 3 years. I just can't contain my excitement !!! Trying hard to pace myself.

    Hugs to all

It seems I picked the perfect time to revisit your thread!! I am so glad you are doing better and have nearly no pain and can cook and bathe a dog! That's a lot of work bending and sudsing and washing /rinsing a dog! I am impressed. Glad the head aches are past. Did your son get his license? Hope so! I couldn't be happier that you are feeling better. My youngest is begging for a pizza so I am caving and we are getting pizza for dinner. Hugs and well wishes for you Patty, you have earned it!

my son didn't get to take his permit test. He threw up on the way. Has some kind of bug: fever 100.9, body aches and nausea/vomiting. Been keeping him mostly upstairs so I won't catch it. D's 2 had it last week. Lots of germx and and hand washing. Another good day. Started out with back ache and migraines. Took my meds and back to sleep after ds2 and Dh left. Woke up much better. I hip hooray. Tomorrow I see Mo and will have him check thyroid. Usually migraines means thyroid off. Still feeling hopeful

    Hugs to all

i had my regularly scheduled appt with mo today. Found out I've been taking X wrong since I begin July 1. Ive been taking 1 tab twice daily 7 on 7 off. Mo said instructions were 3 tabs twice daily 7 on 7 off. Wth?? I reviewed my notes from last appt and sure enough he said 3 twice daily. I got home and checked the Rx bottle and it also said 3 I've no idea how I messed that up. The crazy thing is that I believe it has been working. My hip pain is completely gone and my near constant debilitating back pain is so much better. My Tm's continue to drop. I finally not only want to live but have been excited about my future. Mo said next week to increase to 2 tabs twice daily then after 7 days to increase to 3 tabs twice daily. If any se can always go to 1 or 2 tabs twice daily. I thought I was just super lucky not to have hf issues. I have had mouth sores but they are bearable. I am both excited and nervous. Thinking if the small dose is working so well maybe the larger dose will be even better but also afraid of hf issues. I was out and about from 8:30 - 2 pm. Between mo appt and errands. usually that would wipe me out for several days from the pain and exhaustion. Today I grabbed a quick nap and feel wonderful. No back pain at all. Funny I fought taking X or anything else with the word chemo in it. Now it seems to be my life saver. Hallelujah!!!!! My thyroid was indeed to low so the dosage change should make the migraines go away. Wow best I've felt in over 3 years. Our family is just hanging around the house for labor day weekend. Hoping to swim, grill, and just enjoy each other's company. My family has watched me mostly live on the couch or recliner while they went and did things alone. I am so excited that I get to be a part tis weekend and not on so much pain meds that I am nodding off all day. Woohoo. Guess you can tell i an walking on sunshine. Ds1 is better and went back to school today. I am believing the bug missed me. Yea
