Aw geez Peppermint! See, if I don't pay attention to you, I just think you are fine and dandy! And what's this with your Son?? Holy Cannoli's! That kid needs to ride in something with roll-bars, and head restraints, and all closed in! I'm so glad it was not WORSE! Do they wear helmets?
And your DOG? I still miss my Lacee, and it's been over 2 years... Sometimes I just think of her and want to cry. Wish you could just "catch a break".... and not like your Son.... just like AnimalCrackers said!
A head injury is the worst. I was dropped on my head onto the gym floor, during an acrobat session when I was about 14.... Severe Brain Concussion. I lost all memory of my grade-school years, and on into high-school... Can't even remember my best friends wedding, and I was the maid of honor! If I see pictures, I KNOW I was "there".... but my memories didn't seem to "hold on" until after I had met the guy I would marry... And thank God for that!
All this about concussions, with any kind of sports.... Just make those boys wear helmets all day and night! Even Dale Earnhardt Jr. cannot race until he is cleared.... "Brain concussion" recovery.
I hope you are home, and feeling better little sister.... thinking of you.... xoxoxoxo

oj yeah so was family was here earlier and ds1 days mom where are your eyebrows? Apparently they completely fell out in the week I've been here. Must be the xeloda. I've been on it a month only thing different. Mo said I would have some hair thinning but no complete loss. However now I am a little worried. I didn't take taxol because I didn't want to be bald. Ugh

oh Patty. You sure are having a run of bad luck. Eyebrows are the icing on the cake. Glad DS is ok. Sorry about your dog. I still miss mine. Hope you get out tomorrow.
PS can you send DH over to get the snake on my porch? I was trapped. Don't like them at all. It finally moved on and a neighbor came and trimmed the bushes so hoping it's gone.

patty--praying you are getting out of there soon! I just can't imagine what you have gone through. I know me and I think I would have given up long ago. Your strength is amazing and I know you give God all the glory. I continue to pray for you and your family. Just being at home with your boys and being able to get real sleep sounds like just the ticket you need! Loves

Patty - I hope you get to go home today! Regarding eyebrows, I lost a lot on Femara which I think is highly unusual. I got eyebrows tattooed last Dec. Really cool.

I would think tatooed eyebrows would be GREAT!!! I have to fill mine in with a tiny little eye-liner brush, & I use ink, the same color as my own eye-brows, and an eyebrow pencil. I haven't dropped over yet.... it WORKS! My Grandma always said that all my hair will fall out, because I tease it! I'm 79 and still teasing. A girl has to do what a girl has to do.
Patty.... I hope you are home by now...You want a chocolate coke? Milk Toast? That will fix you. xoxo

Thanks, it's from when I was at my sister's in NC and she, SIL, 2 adult nieces and I went to the beach. Very fun to hang out together because we all live far apart & don't get to see each other very often.

nice Ruth. Just the girls

Yes, very nice. We have found that men always want to be 'doing things'. We just like to sit under the umbrellas, read, take splashes in the water, read some more, have lunch at the TIki Bar and walk on the beach.

sounds like fun.
Well almost a week and a half still here in the hospital. Really really hoping to go home tomorrow. I may have to be smuggled out.

well I put in extra time with my hand in the hospital so I decided to clean out some of my older pms I was looking through my friends list I was amazed at how many have already passed. Couldn't bring myself to take their names off the list though.

Patty I am sorry about the eye brows and your son's collar bone and your dog dying and being in the hospital AGAIN! Geezzz. you need extra prayers and lovingkindness in heaps. Sending some now!. That's one incredible snake. Biggin! I am glad Xeloda is helping with the pain and hope it takes care of the back pain too. I just wanted to tell you that Taxol wasn't bad at all in reduced dose and it dropped my markers like a rock. Then I had an allergic reaction to it and needed to switch drugs. So don't be afraid of Taxol I wish I could take it it was easier then gemzar. Take care and may you get sprung out of the hospital and home soon. (((Hugs)))
