Hey little Rosie! So good to see you! Loved your Hamster story! ONE time, while we were house-sitting at Sheri's house, their long-haired guinea pig got loose!! I thought OMG I have LOST my Grandson's little pig!!! Well I had Murphee, their Border Collie dog go sniff her out! She started looking in the bushes, and I checked it out, and that damn pig was hiding right in those bushes! I snatched her up, Murphee all proud of herself, and put her back in that cage!!! MAN I was happy!
And ONE time, years ago, I had bought another scavenger fish.... I forget what they were called, like a cat-fish sort of... Well, I set that little bowl on the stove top, until I got the tank ready for him, and ...... WHAT???????????? He was GONE!!! I mean I could not believe my eyes!!! No fish! I finally gook the whole stove-top apart, and there he was! Not in the best shape, because it had been about a 15 minute time lapse, but THERE he WAS! He had climbed out with those feeler things of his, and wound up in the stove tray!!! I picked up the little b-tard, and put him back in the bowl, and into the tank... and COVERED the tank where he could not escape again!

OMG! I GOT it!!!!! See, when the 1st nurse examined him, his.... ummmmmmm.... was not up to par! So but when the 2nd nurse goes in, she must have gotten this patient a little ..... ummmmmm.... And THAT'S when she saw Saskatoon/Alberta/Canadian/Province...... Haaaaaaaaaaah!!!! I am USUALLY sharper & quicker than that....

patty!!!! I take a break from the boards and this is what I come back to?!?! I am so so sorry you ha e c-diff. Please, please take it easy and slow. The meds will cause even more diarrhea. If you feel really bad, see if you can get an extra bag of fluids! Amazing how that helps...a little.
Before the cdiff dx did you take an antibiotic? Like a general one? Please make all of your dr's aware that you have had cdiff. They will be less likely to just put you on an antibiotic just because.
Bleach, bleach, bleach! Did they tell you that it can live up to 6 weeks on a surface...( the infected poo that is and then someone would have to injest it) but highly highly contagious! Got to love my hospital...I went to er got lots of tests done. They sent me home to sleep and called to tell me cdiff positive...well hell, I'd never heard of it and they didn't tell me anything about it. I showed up to treatment 3 or 4 days later and was talking to my chemo nurse. Told her it was c-something. She turned white as a ghost! Stuck me in a room by myself!
Oh Patty! I hate this for you!!! Glad you got home for thanksgiving. I know your family was glad to have you back!
They did tell you NOT to take any anti-diarrhea meds, right? Don't keep that stuff trapped in you. It needs to get out!

I'm almost done putting up my holiday stuff. Here's a shot of my new 12' skinny tree 🌲
Had to get one slim, but tall as I have a ton of ornaments and too many animals that run into a wide one. I've got a few more, one for my sci-fi stuff, one for antique/vintage ornaments, 1 vintage ceramic one my great aunt made, 1 small for felt craft ornaments my bf started getting for me, and 2 small ones for my gnome and mushrooms 🍄. I might like Christmas a bit 🎄😁

Hey gals..... She ain't back yet, eh? But we can keep on talkin' just as if she were.... Hey JWow! Love you tree, AND your spirit! My Daughter Sheri in Orlando has her Christmas stuff up already too! Right after Thanksgiving! It's like Christmas forever, even if they don't have any Winter! When we were visiting her in Orlando one year, about Christmas, we went to Celebration, and they had a "Winter celebration" with "snow" falling & music, and it was just magical! Even though it was probably 70 out, it was "snowing" ! Not like it does here in Colorado, but it was beautiful!

Patty texted me on Thursday, wishing me a happy Thanksgiving.
I texted her back, but I haven't heard from her since.
She hasn't been here since 11/24, and hasn't been on Facebook for a while, but she's not a big poster on FB.
I just sent her a few texts, they have been delivered but not read. I will keep you updated if I hear from Patty.
