Now Patty......... so you been slackin' off the milk-toast & chocolate cokes, eh? I just don't know what to say little honey..... I feel so bad for you.... AND your family......

Wish I could go with you to the Doc's, and help him figure out how to best help you. NO-ONE wants to live in pain.... that is your main objective...... So I'm here with my DH who fell the other day.... He tripped and fell on a step, and fell on his hand/arm.... It somehow hurt his shoulder, and now neck. He is whining & I am trying to help him....!!! He is very impatient & gets cranky.... then I think of you..... YOU are in pain a lot of the time!

I'm trying to be patient with his .... whatever.... and I rub that icy-hot on his neck, get the heating pad, and take 2 Aleve morning and night.... It won't go away within a few days... It takes longer, especially if we are old..."older"... and a MAN, and IMPATIENT....... SOooooo ...I would have no problem taking care of you...

Anyway..... it is damn snowing here right now.... and 30 degrees!!! So what is it where YOU are? 70 degrees??? Hah!

Okay little sister.... miss you.... talk to you later.... Love you..... xoxoxoxo

    Patty!!!

Back in the pokey again? ThumbsDown You better get Chevy to tell those drs and nurses how to take proper care of you!

All kidding aside, I'm sorry that you are back there again and feeling so unwell. I hope this is a quick visit for you and you'll be able to be home for thanksgiving- where someone else will be doing all the work- and you can enjoy it.

Mucho love to you and your family ❤️❤️❤️

Hey JWOW....! You get up earlier than even EYE do! Hah! How you doin'? Or haven't you gone to bed yet? It's only 22 degrees out there.... So I ain't gonna fool around in my gardens today....

We ,must be quiet.... Patty is maybe sleeping.... hopefully.... xoxoxo

Patty, I'm so sorry you're back in the hospital.

I'm hoping that your doctor can give you some options to control nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and dehydration. Also the pain and fatigue.

Thinking of you and sending light and love ❤️ your way.

I always think of you when I am playing my flute and singing, and I imagine you are with me. Madelyn

thanks all. Feeling much better today. Haven't vomited since breakfast.

Chevy. Poor mr chevy. Love em up. You know men are big babies. Snow ???? No thank you. Today is cooler but yesterday was 80.

Oh Patty ~ With Chevy's milk toast n' chocolate cokes and Madelyn's sweet music you will be feeling better in no time :)

But just incase.....has the doc tried putting you on Robinul Forte? It is a prescription pill that blocks the ucky stomach/intestinal cramping that triggers the D. It's not like Imodium, where you end up with the opposite problem. I take it daily for IBS with no negative SEs and it doesn't interfere with any of my meds. Might be something to try once your "stuff" calms down?

Ativan for nausea works super fast and very well for me - My MO's office RX's it for that purpose quite often. I take a small dose so it doesn't make me sleepy or goofy (or goofier).

Prayers for healing, comfort and no more uckieness 💗

Yay!!!! Now why can't they do the same for you when you are in the comfort of your home? It would be much better for you and you would think it will save them a lot of $$ not to have you in the hospital. I can't believe they made you wait so long either before they admitted you.

Patty (((Hugs))) been there. I use zofran and CBD oil made from pot. (No THC, no high- you put the drops under your tongue. $30-40.00 a bottle). I feel for you and have such sympathy. Try a Fentanyl pain patch they work great change every 72 hours. There are adjustable doses, so you have constant relief and don't have to swallow pain pills. I have been there where you take the pain pills and barf them up.. no help..

Chevy chocolate coke won't help - might cure everything else.. anything carbonated when I am nauseous makes it way worse. Hug that DH of yours.. poor guy. It hurts to fall on the steps when you are past the age of 55... dang it hurts all over. You and Minnesota made the news tonight lots of snow. Pretty to look at but I don't want to live in it. Your garden must make some interesting shapes covered in snow. It was a high of 50- low of 39 tonight. Chilly.

Yeah, Patty, for feeling better!! Here's to many more days of feeling better. Now they need to get the same relief for you at home. Wasn't today supposed to be your appointment with MO to answer all your questions??

I'm playing flute for a wedding ceremony on Saturday, including lots of beautiful music for the prelude.

I'm singing a chant Mass in Latin (really!!) on Sunday, immediately followed by playing flute for the choir Mass.

I'll send all that love and beauty to you, and Stephanie and Rose. Love, Madelyn

    Hooray!!!!!!!!

Just had one of those funny moments, when I went to upload the picture there's a little button that reads "choose file".

I glanced at it without thinking and read "choose life"!

    Perfect.

I'm so sorry but hopefully they can fix you up in no time. Being sick on top of fatigue and pain plus the weather change can really wear you down. I hope you start to feel better tomorrow!

Oh damnit! I had to Google you miss Peppermint! You have an infection, that is not good to have.... So therefore, people have to put on their haz-met suits before they can see you! Is your room okay? Have them give you net-flix.... and steaks..... Tapioca pudding also....

If they want you to stay, at least make it bearable! Your boys will think it's cool...... Keep talking to us.... xoxoxoxo

Patty that sucks.. plus it is so ridiculously hard to hear anybody clearly with those masks on. (Mumble mumble and all those crinkly suits.) You poor thing. Hugs your way. May your stay be short and you get home soon -by Thanksgiving I hope. Your DS might think all the "precautions" are pretty cool.

Bummer, Patty. Maybe that Cdiff might explain all the nausea/vomiting/diarrhea? No wonder you felt so worn down.

I hope the antibiotics kick in quickly and you feel better real soon, and can be home for Thanksgiving.

    Gentle hugs, Madelyn

oh. My. They better not try to take my tablet. The fight would be on. Yes the boys would think the suits and masks would be cool. They are anxious to come up esp now. Lol. Whatever puts a smile on their face.

    Chevy. Much love

So they moved you to the VIP room? People have to wear hazmat suit to come in to see you?? Well, I hope they remember rule #1 not to eat any thing gassy prior.

Oh dear sweet Patty, I am glad that there are medicines to treat C. Diff. Hope the antibiotics take care of those nasty bugs and that the swelling in your GI goes down quickly. Is it clear broth diet you have to be on for a few days? Don't go and ask for half pounder hamburger or chicken curry. Or even a milk shake. Hang in there and keep talking to us like Ms. Chevy said. Hug

    Scared

GET WELL SOON. Hope you can rest and rest and rest some more as you recover. What a nuisance those crinkly suit people have to come in to prod and poke! Love and Hugs.

Hi Patty - so glad they found out what was going on and can now treat you properly! Get some rest! I think feeling hungry is a good sign! You must not be feeling nauseous so that has to be a good thing.

Hope you get better soon and can be home for the holidays.
