that owl is creepy!! Haha! Just got a short reply back from Patty. She is back in the hospital. Says she “feels horrible.”
Sigh...I told her we are in her pocket and continue to send good thoughts and prayers her way! I’ll let you know if I hear anything else

hello friends.
I am back in the hospital AGAIN. More whole blood and platelets. Cdiff still there. Back on vancomycin antibiotic. Very very expensive.
I am blown away by the support and love here. I have been away so long and to see people still caring is awesome !!!!!
My brain is functioning so much better. Guess it was stress because I haven’t changed anything. Stress sure can do harm physically. I am feeling much more positive since I can think straight. The carboplatin chemo must be working because my bilirubin is staying in the normal level. Woohoo. Will do scans again in 1 month. I have been against any chemo where I would lose my hair. Just don’t want dss remembering me that way but mo said taxol may actually put the cancer in liver in remission. The cancer in all my bones Seems pretty stable mostly because I already have it in all bones. So I am considering trying taxol. I have gotten some info on cold caps but it’s is way to expensive for my budget. It is $2500 - $3000 rental plus $500 per month. Ouch. Like anything new prices will go diwn eventually. My dss still don’t know the cancer the has spread to Liver and that this will prob be the last tx for me. I just don’t want them want them worring every day. Not sure if not telling them is the right andwer. they are 16 And 13. Actually dsI is turning 16 Friday and I pray I am home and up to doing something Special with him.
HUgs and appreciation

Oh Patty~! It's so nice to see you here! I am sorry that you are in the hospital again, but you sound pretty clear minded and strong. I know how you feel about your hair. I had long long hair half way down my back. I dealt with it, the best i could. It was hard I'm not going to lie, but everything about fighting this beast is hard. I did it for my family. I was faced with some hard choices and I always chose them and a chance to fight More, or maybe until they come up with the treatment we all need! You are worth more than your hair. I don't say that easily in any way shape or form, because when people would say that to me I wouldBe like yeah right thanks. It's just another strength you have to find within yourself. I have been through the harsh chemo and I lost all my hair. But it did grow back. Now it's shoulder length again, so beat this beast and send him packing, you are worth it. But in the end it's your decision only. I wish you nothing but no pain, easily tolerance if you choose the taxol, nothing but improvement ahead of you. I'll be thinking of you as I always am, along with your other BC sisters. ❣️❣️❣️~M~

thanks all
Kjones. So sorry to hear that. 😭 Ugh. This darn disease just sucks. Linda and I had communicated a lot thru texts. I feel horrible that I haven't checked on her. I knew she thought things were declining rapidly but I just prayed that was not so. Been so wrapped up in my own pity party. Loved her attitude and she sure loved her dog and sister and nephew.
Also just read we also lost Ebru. Oh my heart is so saddened. I loved her attitude and was interesting how tx differs so much in different countries. Loved to hear her talk about Turkie
I am feeling better tonite. Got 4 units of blood yesterday. Not sure if that was the fix or the antibiotic or just being hydrated again but I am feeling hopeful this morning. Had me up walking around a lot last nite cause my blood pressure continues to stay low even after receiving the blood yesterday. BP running 70/40 and lower.
Hugs
