Bit behind responding to TV that I am watching. I mostly watch from streaming services. I order from amazon so I watched The Boys which involves corrupt superheroes and have just started Carnival Row which is fantasy involving faeries, humans and other mystical creatures as well as a serial killer. Not sure if I like that one. If there is nothing I want to watch, I just watch the old Wonder Woman show with Lynda Carter which is cheesy but a lot of fun.
Hope everyone is doing well today and i do understand the empathy you can feel here. This is a very friendly and close thread and everyone looks after each other. It's like that cozy blanket that you want to fold up in when cold or just because.

Mara~I totally love the cheesy seventies shows. I watch Wonder Woman every Saturday night. Lol. Charlie's Angels is one of my all time favorite shows. I can totally dig that! We'd get along just fine. I can see!
Moomala~ I was really shocked. He said he had nothing but the information to back up extending scans and bloodwork. They luckily have been so stable, he's starting to really think (crossing more than fingers) that what little cancer I do have is dead. I hope against hope, he's correct. He said I wouldn't do anything he thought was risky, he said I am his best stage 4 patient that technically can be referred to stage three C with metastasis to my bone. That how it seems to have enough explained To me. Longest also in practice on ibrance. I hope it continues because thisStuff boggles your mind honestly. Only true Denovo is stage four. I thought since mine spread during chemo that it was stage four.
I made him answer my questions. And he did... I feel relieved. You ladies Are like fuzzy slippers that talk and keep me saine. THANK YOU!
Wanted to say I am thinking of mariraneelizabeth, haven’t heard from her since her last awesome family photo.

Happy dance, cha cha is about the only dance I know. Lol. But, true excitement for you.
I didn't have to use the cancer card to get a good deal on the carpet but I did use my widow card and my I live on SS only card. Hahaha That got me an extra piece of carpet for my sewing room thrown in. Boy, did I need that. It wasn't in the flood but is 33 years old! Also, my vanity cabinets came in. Yay, now I can have sinks in my bathroom again. Cabinets have to be assembled, so Javier is going to do that. The carpet will be installed tomorrow morning. That means I have work to do today trying to get smaller stuff out of the rooms. Oh to have an organized house again someday. It will be worth it. My bedroom floor will be done last and probably take the longest since its wood.
Still tired from chemo but the lower back pain SE was better last night. I get next week off and start cycle 3 on the 17th. My sister is coming down for a week to take me to the next two infusions.💞

Congratulations Michel- extending out the scans feels really good to me. Hopefully your fatigue will be better on the one week on, one week off schedule.
I saw one episode of fleabag- maybe too raunchy for me? I hear that season 2 is less so. My speed is the good place and it crowd- I know, I know!

Hi all. Just checking in this Friday afternoon. Last night I invited a friend to go with me to a gospel concert. It was sooooo much fun. 2 hours of just forgetting cancer. The piano player was awesome---hands flew over the keys. This morning my friend texted me that he had a good time and that he enjoyed "watching you with your face beaming".
Now back to reality this morning---appt for Xgeva and Lupron injections and Port Flush. Back to being a cancer patient. Back to visiting with the other patients in the infusion center as I waited for my turn.

checking in quickly. Have some company including my cookie making DH. Precious angel. When the doctor said what he had to say. My DH turned away with a tear. Beautiful man he is. I adore him. Starting scream queen, just to see. Watched a simple favor. With adorable Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively. It was pretty good. Then we will be watching shutter island. With Leonardo dicaprio! (Spelling). Love to all!!

Oh my I had all summer off and I'm returning to work on Monday and now I'm not so sure I want to. I've been feeling relatively well this summer and had a life of leisure. I enjoy my work and will look forward to seeing my piano students again after all this time but yikes...that went by fast.
So this weekend I will finish prepping my studio and then spend a little lazy time and planning a little trip DH and I are taking. I'm going to test out my back on a short (three hour) road trip to Toronto to see Cirque du Soleil next month and I can hardly wait. I've never seen a Cirque show! Woohoo!

Hope some of you are watching the Netflix show GLOW. Set in the 1980s, and isnt that decade fun to revisit, it stands for Glorious Ladies of Wrestling. Episodes are only about half an hour with great women’s storylines. A bunch of misfit women from different walks of life answer an ad for a women’s wrestling cable tv show. Great writing and acting.
One of the most over the top shows that goes places that boggle my mind is “Transparent” on Amazon Prime. It’s simply fabulous entertainment,

Welp DH was read ended on the way up this Weekend. He’s been rear ended in this car 11 times and I am not kidding. It’s unreal. It must be the most. Safest car ever! Luckily he is okay. The weird part is he was moving. !!!! That was a bike rack. I told him it looked like he backed into a ghost buster !!!! Be careful everyone ! It’s a zoo on the roads , especially in the DC area!!!!! Ugh!

Mae~I love dogs but totally get the big dogs who think they are lap dogs. My Deeohgee thinks he can share the bed. I don't like dog feet in my bed that we agree on. He and I. I gained weight at the doctors weigh in. Pisses me off. I don't even really. Eat too much. It sucks. He says it's a good thing. I said tell that. To my ass. Dog is beautiful. What kind? It was quite a hit for sure....just glad he's ok.
