Sitting here thinking about FG promising something to everyone. He didn't care — he said yes to it all. Going to be interesting to see who is disappointed the most and starts regretting the soonest. Many things (if he does what he says) would in fact be impossible. He promised for instance lower prices for things — while saying there would be tariffs.

The sweet media who could have warned over and over about listening to a dementia-ridden soul about much of anything — but that wasn't going to get people tuning in to them. Hard to decide just how bad it could be. FG is going to have to HAVE others for sure this time out. He is too far gone. He is and will in a whole lot of cases choose highly destructive people who don't even know government. Reps. will get their 2025 — always there but the media wasn't up to really owning up to who was going to pull that along either. They just let FG get away with his famous knowing nothing.

So, who can say for sure. Sounds like the Susie Wiles lady is going to be his Chief of Staff. Well, there's a first. She was one of his top — or maybe the top FG campaign advisor. She and Cheung? ran a pretty good campaign with tight control — something FG always lacked before. Not why FG guy won though.

I read somewhere (didn't listen much to the news but found articles on my computer to read) that and it certainly is I think fairly correct — we Democrats once again don't seem to know how to get our messages through and see that they stick. Like the economy. The problem was for many, the economy is far, far better, but too many prices are still high — so too many people mistook the message — listening instead to the Reps. lies about how good FG's economy was compared to Biden's.

In fact, the media said almost nothing about FG's ACTUAL dementia and rambled on over and over about Biden gaffes as though Pres. Biden was nearly ready for a rubber room which had nothing at all to do with how he really was. Yet, the media got to call the shots. Sadly the rt. wingers have taken over media - so even some of the news I once enjoyed is subject to soft-pedaling and some avoidance. For yrs. I've counted on CNN and MSNBC but no more.

I don't know about anyone else but on one of my favorite sites this morning some info was given about where you could find some truth and I'm going to share them here too.

David Pacman —— Midas Touch Network and Brain Taylor Cohen. There are likely others and if some others turn up I'll share them.

I know Dh will insist on MSNBC and likely I will continue to glance in the morning with my coffee, but I'm way less than thrilled which is how I was several weeks leading up to the election. I can't trust them because they have ratings to be upheld if they can and in order to compete, they are going to have to side-step, defer or cherry pick most of what they say so it sounds like what YOU need to hear from them regardless of if its shall we say the whole truth. It is no longer likely to be.

This was from yesterday, but it is oh so true. There will be four years to regret a choice and my thought is how long till the regret starts. 2025 —- well, a whole lot of Reps. actually are very SHY and not wanting that, but another group will try to push much of it through.

Some wars here may be interesting as they wrangle with each other.

As said to the side — perhaps interesting when people who have put us in such danger get called out repeatedly for it. Fingers will be pointed.

Don Jr. Claims He’s ‘Heavily Involved’ On Trump’s Transition Team, Reveals The Type Of Cabinet Picks They’re Seeking And It’s Downright Terrifying

    Worrying moves from Trump Jr.

by Terry Lawson17 hours ago17 hours ago

Donald Trump Jr. recently announced that he is helping pick cabinet members for his father’s upcoming term as president. Speaking on “Fox & Friends,” Trump Jr. said he wants to make sure only loyal people who “don’t think they know better” than his father, President-elect Donald Trump, get selected. According to Trump Jr., his role in choosing the cabinet is to make sure that every person in the administration will fully support his dad’s ideas.

This announcement has raised big concerns. Many feel that loyalty is important, but a strong leader also needs team members who have different skills, backgrounds, and ideas. People worry that if everyone on the team only agrees with Trump, it could limit the quality of decisions made by his administration.

Some people took to Twitter to share their opinions. Taylor Lianne Chandler (@RealTayChaTLC) tweeted, “Most people that are successful surround themselves with people that know more than them. This explains a lot. I guess the bar will be really low to enter this cabinet.”

Chandler’s tweet points out that successful leaders usually choose people who know things they don’t. For many, this shows a lack of strong leadership on Trump’s part, as he seems to be choosing loyalty over real skill and knowledge. Trump Jr. has said he even wants “veto power” over cabinet choices, meaning he could block anyone he doesn’t find loyal enough. He explained that he wants to make sure they know who the “real players” are—people who will truly support his dad’s goals. While this may sound like a good plan to some, others worry that picking only loyal people will lead to poor decisions and not enough diverse ideas.

New Lincoln Party (@kountry_kool) shared their concern with a simple comment: “Red flag warning.”

This tweet sums up the worry that Trump’s cabinet could be full of “yes-men” who won’t speak up or challenge ideas, even when it might be necessary.

Leading this cabinet-picking team are Linda McMahon, who was part of Trump’s first administration as head of the Small Business Administration, and Howard Lutnick, head of the financial services company Cantor Fitzgerald. Lutnick recently shared that loyalty to Trump is a top requirement for the next administration. In his words, people who join the team must show “fidelity and loyalty” to both Trump and his policies.

The idea of putting loyalty first is not new for Trump. His first term had a lot of turnover as many officials left or were fired for disagreeing with him. JB Thinkin (@JBThinkin) didn’t hold back, tweeting, “This family is really a bunch of morons. Probably why they FAIL at every business they are involved in!”

Many feel that this same loyalty-based approach could lead to more issues and high turnover again in Trump’s second term. For many, Trump’s focus on loyalty brings up memories of his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, where some say he ignored expert advice. UTMB RIP America (@Utmb_Colorado) tweeted, “…than my father who bankrupted casinos (!!) and let MILLIONS die during a pandemic because of his braindead incompetence!”

This response highlights people’s fears that a loyalty-first cabinet might ignore expert advice again, even when it is urgently needed.

Ladies, I spent fifteen days in the hospital. I had ten rounds of whole brain radiation. This all happened over the days of the election. I had a lot of paranoia during this time and am still coming out from the effects of it. My gosh. I can still hardly believe FG was voted in. So much I’d like to say here yet with side effects from radiation, I don’t have it in me to do so. There are many pages of this thread that I haven’t read yet about how you are all processing the results. Please know I’m there/here with you.

If the above (and it easily could) really happens we could expect some real issues, and they won't be long in showing up. In fact, it is hard to even imagine. A whole cadre of I'll be glad to kiss your butt, FG people. It does boggle the mind.

    I highlight this:

“This family is really a bunch of morons. Probably why they FAIL at every business they are involved in!”

Jr. may not have dementia yet, but he is as hopelessly stupid as the man who sired him. So, I do believe the wrong foot is possibly pointing forward already into a hell of a mess. Then again, in some ways, might as well get this fiasco on the road to the ruin that is going to come. Not that it is what I want, but we already know how bad this is going to be and in fact, maybe in some ways — some of the internal discord may be something that needs to go on. We are in a new territory again and much remains now easy to know. We are already in for in strange ways — some interesting times.

This has been posted before by a person who has vowed to quit watching the news for the next four years.

I will get news, but it is going to be really selective. It won't be so much of the cable news I've watched now for many years, but likely news from highly left leaning (much more if not completely honest) sites there.

But as always, some will be fine, because it is their God saying it needs to be done. Too bad I can't give my suffering to one of those people.
