Every morning, when we wake up, we have twenty-four
brand-new hours to live.  What a precious gift!  We have
the capacity to live in a way that these twenty-four hours will
bring peace, joy, and happiness to ourselves and others.

And yourselves. You were well on the way before you ever voted for this abomination, but if you were looking for a way to speed up the process then I'd have to say — you did yourselves proud.

Why should you help pay off someone’s student loan if you didn’t go to college? Good question—now ask yourself why you’re covering tax cuts for billionaires while working a blue-collar job.

Something to have a thought or two about.

It's stunning that 77 million Americans could not tell that Trump is full of sh*t.

I bet they are well on their way to be able to tell it now.

BREAKING: JD Vance’s own cousin takes a flamethrower to what’s left of his reputation — says that he’s “disappointed” in him for twisting America into “Vladimir Putin’s useful idiots.”

And the cousin, who fought in Ukraine, wasn’t done there…

“Being your family doesn’t mean I’m going to accept you killing my comrades,” Nate Vance, a former Marine said in an interview with Le Figaro.

A Texan, he revealed that he volunteered and fought in Ukraine against the Russians on the front lines for three years.

He and JD share grandparents and even vacationed together in the past. Nate stated that he has tried to contact JD but has not received a response.

He slammed Donald Trump and the vice president for betraying Ukraine by attacking Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the Oval Office and then cutting off military aid and intelligence sharing to Ukraine.

“When [JD Vance] criticized aid to Ukraine, I thought it was because he needed to appeal to his electorate, that it was part of the political game,” Nate Vance stated in an interview with Le Figaro. “But what they did to Zelensky was an ambush of absolute dishonesty.”

“Donald Trump and my cousin clearly think they can placate Vladimir Putin,” he added. “They are wrong. The Russians are not about to forget our support for Ukraine. We are Vladimir Putin’s useful idiots.”

It’s nice to see that at least one member of the Vance family is standing firmly on the right side of history. JD and Trump will go down as cowards and traitors of the worst sort.

BREAKING: Donald Trump's former economic adviser Stephen Moore torches his disastrous tariffs as "misguided" and bad for our "very wobbly economy."

Even conservatives are balking at Trump's harebrained scheme...

"You used the word 'complicated' and that exactly what it has been over the last week Katie," Moore said to host Katie Pavlich on Fox News. "One day the tariffs are going to go up and then there's going to be a delay in the tariffs and then there's going to be a tariff on another country and it's been up and down and up and down."

Trump implemented his pointlessly destructive 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico and then scrambled to delay them after the stock market entered a nosedive and consumer prices started to rise.

"And by the way the stock market when up and down and up and down with these things," Moore continued. "I think that the president's emphasis on tariffs right now is misguided."

"I think we have a very wobbly economy," he went on. "We saw a not very good jobs report on Friday. The consumer confidence numbers are sinking. And other indicators are not positive."

"The economy needs a pick-me-up and tariffs are not a pick-me-up," he said, before showing his true conservative colors by calling for Trump to pass new tax cuts on the rich — proving that these right-wingers never learn.

So true. If they were capable or ACTUAL real learning, Trump would be in jail and not re-elected and busy being a traitor to us and the U.S. right now.

BREAKING: MAGA Republican Nicole Malliotakis stuns a CNN host on air by making the jaw-dropping claim that President Joe Biden is responsible for the looming recession that Donald Trump seems poised to cause.

Conservatives really think that Americans are dumb as rocks...

"Given the uncertainty that President Trump's tariff approach is creating, and given that tariffs often prove inflationary, Donald Trump was asked over the weekend about a possible recession happening this year," said host Kate Bolduan.

"He was not 100 percent confident that he could stave off a recession in 2025," she continued. "If that is the risk that he is running with this kind of whiplash and environment of business uncertainty while prices go up, is that a risk you think is worth it?"

"Well, there's been talk about a recession for well over the past year," lied Malliotakis. "This is something that has been a threat going back to the Biden administration. We were anticipating some type of recession and slow, slow growth."

"Why? Because of a lot of the inflationary spending, a lot of the dismantling of energy policy in this country that really drove up the cost of doing business, I think, and also the regulations that the Biden administration have put in place," she claimed.

The truth, of course, is that President Biden rebuilt the American economy after Donald Trump left it in tatters by grossly mismanaging the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now, Trump's pointless 25% tariffs on Mexico and Canada are hurtling us towards a recession despite his decision to delay them — with a stock market in free fall and consumer prices skyrocketing — so Republicans are scrambling to deflect blame.

"So I think that we have a real opportunity here to stop the recession that was supposed to be coming for the past year," continued Malliotakis. "And I think the most important thing right now is that we look at the inflation—"

"Right but Congresswoman, the recession they're talking about now would be one induced by the actions of this president, not the past," Boldoun interjected.

"You can't disregard the damage that the Biden administration did to our economy with their regulations, with their inflationary spending, with the... The... The interest rates that have skyrocketed because of his policies," Malliotakis insisted without evidence.

"You can't, you can't negate that," she added. "What we're trying to do right now is rightsize government bureaucracy. We're trying to extend the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act — which is the reason probably why we never had the recession that was being predicted — but now those provisions are expiring, some have already. We have to make sure that we extend that."

"I think all those things could prevent any type of slowness in our economy," Malliotakis said.

As usual, conservatives are lying about the state of affairs. The best way to avoid a recession right now would be for Trump to totally rescind his tariffs before they inflict any more damage on our economy. Malliotakis is afraid to admit that though, because challenging the MAGA cult leader leads to contested primaries and ruin for these politicians.

More importantly, aren't we tired of this story? Democrats build a strong economy, then Republicans get into power and totally wreck it while siphoning off more wealth to the super rich. Time and again we are left cleaning up their mess and time and again they try to pass the buck.

Enough is enough. Republican governance is a disaster for the economy and it's time people woke up to this basic fact of American history.

Wow! Rep. Jake Auchincloss STUNS CNN by revealing voters in his Trump won district are LIVID about how Zelensky was treated in the White House.

Every single word he spoke should be read by EVERY single American:

“I was in my district yesterday…and this city voted for Donald Trump…

The most resonant theme of the day that I heard from these Americans was how livid they are about the way that President Trump behaved in the Oval Office with Volodymyr Zelensky.

Zelensky flew to Washington, but he walked into the Kremlin.

And the propaganda that they heard from the commander in chief made Americans feel less safe and made them feel ashamed.

This is an opportunity for congressional Republicans to distance themselves from this abomination and to demonstrate that Americans are going to stand for freedom and democracy.

Because, with all due respect, people do win wars. United States won World War II. It made this world safe for freedom and democracy.

We are now making it less safe for freedom and democracy by giving Russia all the cards that Donald Trump claims they have.”

    Thank you Rep. Auchincloss!!

Thought I'd just jump in and say —- I didn't spend any time looking for articles to share today. I don't look for as many as I use to since I'm often feeling a bit 'shy' about how truthful or slanted an article might be. Slanted a bit is a little more acceptable of course. I sure don't want to accidentally spread something un-true.

I mainly stick to the memes and drop in my own ideas from time to time. I am still mainly avoiding news and generally even a lot of the local hometown news. Especially if they feature much Trump news. I have a number of morning chores and I can easily escape the tv (even though I may still hear a couple of words here and there) I don't get a saturation of any of it and it suits me fine. I do have a couple left wing sites I use as I want to keep up and not get too many surprises. Still, I have to say it feels good not to devote myself to hours of listening agony.
