So far, I prove out to be not allergic to anything but tetanus. So, I stay away from rusty things that could puncture the skin and also anything that could warrant tetanus. I don't expect any reaction from a covid vaccine, but I'll be more than willing to "wait" around to make sure that I pass through with flying colors. Better safe than whatever !!

I think THOSE wild-thinking people are the ones we should be afraid of.... along with their cult leader! The sooner we can be done with him, and his loyal fans, the better off we are.
It's just sickening how this country is in the worst crisis since WW2, and our "president" is off doing whatever! He couldn't care less.... NOR any of his mask- less followers.

Trump is so far in over his head. Nothing that has been proposed is either true or possible. If by troops it is meant the military -- there has already been strong assurances that they will not interfere in this election. Flynn or anyone else saying so is just their posturing for whatever reason they need to. In Flynn's case he now for sure OWES Trump -- so yes, he will say what he must to prove allegiance but it is basically worthless to both he and Trump. What a mockery.
Trump has never come down on our side but upholds Russia and Putin always. He needs to stay one the good side of Putin if possible. Too bad he doesn't get that he is against a person who is just ax callous and ruthless as he -- so the underneath of the bus is not far away.
I also think Trump is just tying to keep his foot in the door with saying he wants Sidney Powell to set up a Special Counsel. In order to do that you first have to have a pretty solid reason why they are needed. That finishes that right there. There is no real election fraud and Trump's own person said so and promptly got fired for it. Sigh !!!
I do think it is possible that Trump has been on this number so long and that he believes it himself now. After all, he could never accept an actual loss on his part. He was indeed setting things up long before the actual election -- and has stayed on that track pretty solidly ever since. So, I presume that is why he can so casually hang around ( even though he does next to absolutely nothing ) in the WH. and pretend to himself and others that some magical event will occur to allow him to stay on as whatever the hell he was anyway. This also allows him to get his hands on money and keep in touch and in tune with the idiots who have no problem sending it to him.
I hope some of those who have weird outlooks ( thinking Ron Johnson ) will get out of the way because Biden is coming full steam ahead. And speaking of that, Ron Johnson will be up for re-election in 2022 and I hope this period of time is VERY much not forgotten when we get there. I hope he is dumped like last night's garbage.

Divine: A real eye opener about those side effects that turn out to be for Viagra. I have not shied away from flu, or pneumonia injections or vaccines as yet. I can be shy on drugs though. I trained as a medical corpsman in the Army and had classes on drugs there. I think it was then that I developed a healthy respect for using them when needed but not to get over-anxious about stuffing them down. Being choosy when possible.
You are so right -- too many seem to question something like a vaccine, but if given to them by their Dr. or neighborhood pharmacist don't have the same considerations about other things. I do wonder if a lot of people were nervous as to Trump having his hands on this steering wheel for a while. You couldn't trust him to tell you it was dark if you were looking outside just then and it was blacker than all get out. I felt some trepidation when earlier on it seemed he was pulling the strings etc. Now that he has all but totally washed his hands of most of the covid issues ( although ready to claim the vaccine for his legacy deserved or not ) and knowing this is going into the hands of the incoming people ( Pres-elect Biden and a great Cabinet and advisors ) and has been looked at and checked over by many of the medical scientific people -- I'm perfectly okay with it and won't hesitate.
I hope that when the dust settles a bit and when the programs of getting it out to people can be instituted properly -- that a lot more people will be able to do a better risk/benefit analysis for themselves. Hopefully, they will want to get on board because if there is to be a herd immunity situation -- then most people will have to be vaccinated.

Very tough to listen to this, and I'm sure Adam Schiff is right. This won't happen, but I'm very upset that Flynn is making himself a part of this for ANY reason. Why people keep thinking they can somehow work with Trump is so far beyond me. Everything Trump has done up to, rt. before and during this past four yrs. has had the foul stench of some sort of destruction. He is and has an arrested development that in incapable of positive works. It really is true that most of what he touches dies in some way. I think we can ( hard work for sure ) get over this severe blow should it happen to our democracy -- but I for one thing Flynn should be watched like a hawk from this time forward. If there is reason for arrest and chgs. then it should happen. He is not a patriot for sure.

The military would not go along with a coup--leaders have said they will not obey an unlawful order because there would be no justification to invoke martial law, and there would not be enough votes to back up invocation of the Insurrection Act. (The true insurrection would be by Trump's supporters, who have already begun to commit sedition).
Tommy Tuberville--the idiot Auburn football coach who defeated Doug Jones for the Senate seat from AL and couldn't even name the three branches of the Federal Gov't--has said he intends on 1/6 (two days after the next Congress is sworn in) to object to ratifying the votes of the Electoral College. But he wouldn't have enough Repubs. to join him in either the Senate and certainly not the House. Even Moscow Mitch has told him to give it a rest.

So, are single people making less than 75k a year happy for 600? When you get to the real low incomes and people are in food lines, behind in rent and other debt from this situation, are they supposed to be excited? In Cali the unemployment was/is a clusterf. Not only people didn't all get it who qualified but hackers of the edd here made off with a ton of money. Can't remember the amount. And it's not like at the top of the new year or when biden takes office that all will be normal to function as before!

Don Jr and the Trumpers keep throwing out the idea that it's not possible for a “guy who campaigned from his basement" to wrack up 80 million votes. They are incredulous that Biden's campaign strategy worked. They almost seem blindsided by it. They believed if you walked around all puffed up, were belligerent and behaved dominantly, you represented the winning team. It was all about “look at me, look at us, we are the majority." They were so caught up in how they looked that they did not notice how many people did not side with them. Joe's supporters were invisible to them. It's the way women, people of color, the disabled, the disenfranchised are all viewed as “less than" by Trump and many Republicans. We're not even on their radar. We don't even exist in their eyes. Trumpers are so caught up in being part of the “popular" crowd like it's essential to their identity. Barf.

DivineMrsM, as we are learning now, the trump spawn stole the money in the campaign war chest probably assuming that the voter suppression tactics of the state republicans and their fed appointees would suffice. Imagine what Biden's lead would have been if there had been no voter suppression. I only hope that all the good trumpers are pissed that their xmas cards and packages are going astray due to the voter suppression related dismantling of the USPS.
