Exactly, Ruth! I remember when we felt like we could actually trust the Supreme Court Justices to do the right thing. Now we see that some of them are a massive part of the problem. It is upsetting that Alito and Thomas are not held responsible for their actions. Despicable.

If the defense rests Tuesday, as expected, that’ll mean the jury will be away from the trial for a full week. As the day was winding down, Trump lawyer Emil Bove advised Merchan the defense isn’t planning on calling any other witnesses after Costello, though they may still call campaign finance expert Bradley A. Smith for limited testimony. They haven’t definitively said Trump won’t testify, but that’s the clearest indication yet that he’ll waive his right to take the stand in his own defense.”
It makes me batty that after tomorrow they won’t resume again for a week! Geeeeezzzeee!

Great memes. Alito and Clarence the clown need to go because both hide their deeds behind their wives actions. If Mrs. Alito did this as a reaction to an anti-Trump neighbor can you imagine what a b**ch she is? What would possess someone to disgrace the flag because they didn't like their neighbor's POV? Wonder what she would do if someone's dog relieved itself on her lawn? She'd probably dig out her gun and shoot the dog and the owner. She's as wacky as Ginni Thomas.
I am all in favor of impeaching that pair for not honoring the Constitution and for limiting terms on the SC.

I don’t think anyone who works alongside her likes Greene. She’s such an obstructionist. I don’t see how her constituents could be happy with Greene not accomplishing ANYTHING. Is she in a district full of voters who simply like creating chaos? Appears so!

Ruth that is totally hilarious. As Trump is in fact a bully, and braggart I would have assumed his no coming pretty early on. More a question of when not if. I've been avoiding having the news on past the early morning hours. We catch up on anything from the day before or any new items. I watch cable news because you do get different viewpoints and it is fuller all together but at the same time it has a tendency to be oppressive in the constancy of it. Dh and I resisted cable news for a few years, but finally gave in around former Pres. Obama's time. By then our in-laws (all the ones here Republicans) were almost obnoxious and it was more self-defense for us.

I'm feeling depressed. The negative Biden ads run multiple times a day, the newscasters keep pointing out how much like Hitler Trump is, and how our Democracy will be over. So much doom and gloom and the final blow for me was listening to Nikki Haley say she is voting for Trump! What a kick in the face to her supporters!
I don't know what is worse, feeling helpless with doomsday, aka election day, approaching, watching women lose control of their healthcare or hearing about all the people who think Trump is so great?
It hurts knowing this may be what my children and grandchildren will have to put up with.
I am disappointed with Biden and the Democrats. Why are they silent when they should be screaming at the top of their lungs. If they think they can win the election following the rules of the past, they're wrong! I know there is still a lot of time, but people are making their minds up now!
Is it just me, or does anyone else think Trump looks worse than he did before the trial? He looks like he lost a lot of weight, and his face is even worse looking than it was before!
