And its gets even worse...
"We are beginning to see Russia target specific voter demographics, promote divisive narratives and denigrate specific politicians," said an official from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
The official added that Russia is "undertaking a whole-of-government approach to influence the election, including the presidential race, Congress and public opinion."
While the official didn't mention Trump by name, they confirmed that Putin's candidate preference hasn't changed since 2020 — when it was reported that Russia tryed to help elect Trump.
Putin knows that Trump is a fascist who idolizes dictators. He rightly believes that he will find a willing ally in the convicted felon should he retake the White House.
The stakes could not be any higher.
