Latissimus dorsi flap reconstruction after surgery
Has anyone out there had the latissimus dorsi flap breast reconstruction that can help me understand what and why I’m still going through pain and discomfort after 7 months since my surgery?
I truly wish I had never chosen this type of breast reconstruction and need others to tell me their stories if they are experiencing the same problems as me i.e. constant feeling of tightness and discomfort across back, lumps of skin sewn together making me feel disfigured, stinging pain under arms and sides of back from incisions etc
Anyone who can give me their experiences would really help me maybe come to terms with what I’m dealing with

Hi Ventro1234! Oh no. I am scheduled to have a mastectomy next week with Latissimus dorsi flap reconstruction. Is the pain and discomfort better now?
