I have an aunt suffering from breast cancer, which discovered recently , the doctor prescribed her a medicine called kisqali, the problem is the price of this medicine is very high, about 3000 dollars here in Morocco , and the financial situation of the family is very difficult, my question is Are there associations that give this medicine for free or with reasonable price, thank you

Hi @abarda7 , Many cancer drugs are extremely expensive no matter where you live. The price of Kisqali is more than twice that in the USA. While there are some charitable organizations that help with prescription costs you have to be a resident of the country to apply. You would need to investigate if anything like that is available in Morocco. You can also contact the drug manufacturer (Novartis) and see if there are any price breaks based on financial need available for residents in your country. I hope your aunt finds a way to afford her meds.

@abarda7 We're sorry to hear about the situation with your aunt. Have you tried reaching out to Novartis, the manufacturer of Kisquali? They typically have a reduced fee program that allows people to afford the medication. We don't know what it's like though in Morocco.
