IDC diagnosis this morning
Hello, have just learned my biopsy was positive for IDC. First meeting with breast surgeon May 10th. I don’t have my biopsy report yet. I know from my mammo it is 0.5x0.6x0.5. The nurse said pathology shows er+ but pr-. HER status not yet known. This all started from a 6 month diagnostic. Pretty scared.

Scared and Worried
I have just been diagnosed with an Invasive Ductal Carcinoma which resulted in also being a Triple Negative Breast Cancer. I will be seeing my oncologist for the first time on Monday. Not sure what to expect, the information out there seems to be a little scary. Any thoughts with the same problem as me. Thanks.

Misdiagnosed as Fibroadenoma

BRCA2 mutation, IDC and lumpectomy and sentinel node
I found out that I had IDC and then through genetic testing, found out I have the BRCA2 mutation.
