Ruth I think Bruno looks just fine in his jacket. I hope he perked up about it once he was outside. Doesn't he understand his mom is looking out for him? Too cute.

We went right out & had a play-date with the neighbor dog so he forgot about it (once I tucked in the hood as she was grabbing & trying to drag him around with it. I did a couple miles with the indoor walking DVD.

Actually watched the Super Bowl. Great game. Best ad was the Dorito one. And of course as always the Clydesdale.

Happy Monday. Nice weather today and tomorrow, high 50s then 30 degree drop on Wednesday and snow

Happy Valentines everyone...had my annual mammo this morning, all clear or at least Bi-Rads 2, "see you in a year". Results posted before I could travel the 5 miles from the imaging center to my office!

After 70 degrees on Saturday we have a slight dip, 20's this morning, 40's this afternoon, but it will be hard to produce any more real snow events here in SE Virginia as we seesaw between 2-3 days of warm and then a dip. Went to bed before the end of the game, but did enjoy the commercials. My 5:00pm yoga class last night was only at half capacity, but I was still home in time for the beginning of the game...

On to the week ahead. TT

Congratulations on the 'All Clear', TT!

We just watched the game at home so I missed out on the junk food aspect. My favorite commercial was Walter the Cat. DH and I decided that we're too old to be in the target audience for the halftime show. Give me Prince in the Purple Rain anytime!

Pound this morning. We're going out to dinner tonight. Happy Valentine's Day everyone! 🥰

My favorite half time show was Sir Paul many, many years ago. To be sure I wasn't imaging it, I googled and here is what I came up with - now these are my type of musicians. Going even further in the history books, we had the pleasure of seeing these popular chart-toppers put on the show of a lifetime: Bruce Springsteen (2009), Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers (2008), Prince (2007), The Rolling Stones (2006), Paul McCartney (2005), Aerosmith and NSYNC (2001), Diana Ross (1996), Michael .

3-6" snow still predicted for Tuesday night into Wednesday. I'm guessing it will have to be really bad to get another snow day - we've already had 2 this semester.

Everyone stay safe and stay warm.

Happy Valentines Day! Busy day at school today; excitement was the name of the game. No problem hitting 10,000 steps today.

This weather is crazy! We had a sunny 60 degrees on Saturday and got 10 inches of snow Sunday into this morning.

    Bruno looks so cute, Ruth!

Congrats on the clear test, TT.

Karen- I believe our mask mandate in schools will most likely be gone at the end of the month. Mixed emotions about it as I am so ready for normalcy and not being the mask police but am still concerned for my preschoolers who can’t be vaccinated yet.

We watched the game at home and enjoyed the commercials and halftime show. It’s not really my preferred music but some of my (younger) work friends were super excited about the walk(dance down memory lane

Ginger 60 degrees one day and snow the next sounds just like CO weather. I hear your concern for the under 5 I’d worry too and I’m still worried with middle school I’m guessing most kiddos won’t wear them as they aren’t wearing them properly now

I’m covering in 6-8 grade middle school so Valentines Day is very different than elementary school. Kids could pre-order cards with candy to be delivered- student council activity. Saw groups of kids doing this. No class parties.

    Have a great Tuesday

I remember all those superbowl half time shows as well...and after 10 minutes and not feeling the love of this year's performance, we have a new smart TV and I asked it to play Lady Gaga's halftime show from a few years ago and viola, a whole new show of your own making!

DH and I went out for V'Day dinner...the first time we have eaten out since his b'day in early December. It was nice and uncrowded...may have to be brave again, sooner.

We walked to the restaurant and enjoyed the early (nearly) full moon. Cold here this morning...19...in our seesaw weather is that the see or the saw?

Shift & Lift this morning. I will do Barre Sculpt also. We are invited to DS's for dinner. He & his GF have gotten into cooking; which is amazing to me as he was a guy who basically lived off pizza & fast food ever since he's been on his own.

Have to say this year's half-time show was not my cup of tea. Karen1956 - Agree with you wholeheartedly on the prior half-time shows you mentioned.

Sadly, our Bengals did not win the game, but the fans gave them a great welcome home just the same.

Did Yoga, Barre Lates (combo of barre & pilates), a lovely 15 min meditation and have Bodyweight Boot Camp & Zumba Gold coming up later.

Our weather is bouncing between 52 today 61 tomorrow, 59 on Thurs and then two days of cold and back up again on Sun. Dentist appointment tomorrow & not looking forward to it as I have a cracked cap.

Celia, the Bengals played a great game. I was cheering for them. My brother lives in Cincinnati since the early 80s and my late parents lived there from 74 to 2001 when they retired to S. Fl.

Snow is coming in earlier than originally predicted. Supposed to start mid day through the night and get up to 8”. Hope the after commute home isn’t too bad.

Stay safe, stay warm. Have a good Wednesday.

My 87 y.o. mother was routing for the tiger hats...she doesn't have dementia, but somehow just got stuck on tiger hats! (their helmets are tiger striped for those who missed the game...)

I like the Tiger Hats too!

Here's today's Walking Women picture. The guy with us works at the Activity Center where we wlpk in the winter. He is always very jolly and takes our pictures for us. We gave him a box of chocolates for a little thank you.

Tomorrow I take off for a Girl Friends vacation in Florida. 2 friends & I fly down and stay at the condo of another friend near West Palm Beach. We all met when I was a first year teacher back in 1975. So when I say we are old friends, I do mean OLD! Hopefully we can avoid all the storms, flights are on time etc. etc. Once we arrive, it will be a nice & relaxing week.....I foresee lots of walking on the beach!!

Hi Ruth, enjoy and be safe in your FL trip. Can't wait to hear of your adventures with Beach walks and Sunsets. Re the WWW, I had always wondered who was taking the picture...like who wasn't in this week's picture thus taking the picture. Glad to know you have a helper!

Today is National Random Acts of Kindness Day! Who knew, but here it is going to be 70 degrees, so I have already received my kindness from the weather gods.

Yesterday Tai Chi, today yoga and pilates.

    Happy Thursday, TT

Karen - Heard about all that snow coming your way. Hope you at least have a nice view in CO. Safe & Warm is definitely the way to go.

I made it to Florida yesterday between the storms, and spent today mostly outside. For exercise I walked on the beach and swam in a beautiful pool.

Ruth - looks very inviting. Glad you made if safely.

Bitter cold heading my way starting tomorrow night through Thursday. Snow tomorrow night - 3-6" or something like that. The snow from last Thursday is pretty much all melted. Was gorgeous yesterday - sat outside all afternoon reading. Have to get ready for the training I'm co-facilitating on Tuesday - it's an all day training. Hoping it's sunny out this afternoon to enjoy some rays. Need to get a couple new books to read besides the one for my work book study.

    Have a great Sunday.

Yesterday we hiked down to a beach with big limestone formations. At high tide the waves crash into the rocks and spray into the air; sometimes as high as 50 feet.

Ruth- beautiful scenery. I'm watching the morning news and confused when the snow is actually arriving! They make is so confusing. But the cold, that is clear. Tomorrow is a professional development day and I meeting my co-presenter at our ad bldg at 18th and Lincoln. Thinking of taking the RTD. Shorter walk than if I park where it is free and I don't want to pay parking garage prices. Now need to check if RTD takes cash and what senior rate is. DH thinks I'm foolish. He doesn't do the bus! 😂. Need to finish planning for tomorrow.

Everyone stay warm, safe and healthy. Have a great Monday

Ruth - love the photos of Florida! So glad you have this opportunity.

Karen - I would totally take the bus if I could. I hope it works out for you.

I have cut back on my exercise because the medicine I just started causes the bottom of my feet to hurt. Resting helps my feet, though. So I take very short walks now. Yesterday I went to the gym to lift weights and pedaled a stationary bike that was easy for the bottom of my feet. I think I can do a little jumping on the rebounder. But what I should try is yoga. I also have an almost constant cough, but hopefully, I can find a few yoga moves that don't make me cough more. I'm a bit of a mess!

We stayed on the beach after our walk this morning and watched the Space X-Starlink satellite that was launched from Cape Canaveral 80 miles away on a Falcon 9 Rocket zoom overhead.
