It’s 47 degrees and rainy here. I am just snuggling under a blanket with a cat on my lap. Will be back at exercising tomorrow.

Got to the gym for a yin yoga class at lunch break…in yin you don't move much, but afterwards I feel so stretched out…so good to mix in occasionally.
We are in full pollen bloom, my navy car looks like green pea soup with the later of yellow pollen on it 😒

TT: The pollen is bad and will only get worse. Ugh.
m0mmy: Years ago I used to take a step class. It was definitely a workout.
Ruth: Bruno misses his cousins.
Little grandbaby cried a lot today. I definitely needed the short walk I was able to squeeze in at the end of the day. Tomorrow dh and I will host the Red Cross Blood Drive at our church.

Decorated outside yesterday for Easter.

Got to the gym last night, that made Sun/Mon/Tuesday this week, woohoo.
Today is a walk…

Here's the indoor contingent of the Wednesday Walking Women. A few ladies braved the great outdoors, so it must be spring. We have a small regional airport here & at breakfast we collected money to buy gift cards for the TSA agents who are working there every day without pay.
*edited to add that it was so nice out that I also walked with DH & Bruno this afternoon.....it might snow tomorrow!

I posted yesterday, but must not have submitted it. Anyway, I went to HIT in the morning, Dance2fit & Yoga in the evening. My mammogram came back as normal, so now I can breathe again,
My class is canceled this morning, so I will go on a dog walk with the boys…..even though it is cold out & a dusting of snow is on the ground.

m0mmy: I have put out my inside Easter decorations but I don't have any outside ones.
TT: WTG on getting to the gym 4 times!
Ruth: That's so nice what your group did for the TSA agents. I'm sure they were pleasantly surprised and very appreciative. Congrats on your mammo results!
The Blood Drive went well. No one got sick thank goodness. The Red Cross sets the appointment slots and the end goal. This time the goal was 15 pints and we got 18. I was delighted!
Walked yesterday but not today. Hope to go to our No Kings Protest tomorrow.

Happy to read all the updates! I’ve been crazy busy at work. Have gotten in daily walks but no gym time. I’m retired from state service but for the past several years have been working two part-time jobs as favors to former bosses. Being productive is good and the extra money is even better but I’m ready to be done.
One job is ending in April. I’m wrapping it up and training the person who’s inheriting my workload. The other job will end in August, after closing out the state fiscal year.
DH says I should get a dog but I’d like some time with no new responsibilities. 😉

Been doing a little Spring cleaning and organizing

Badger, we enjoyed a couple pet free years before we accidentally adopted a dog!
We went to a No Kings March this morning & will go on a dog walk this afternoon.
0 -
Badger: A cat will give you company without many responsibilities.
m0mmy: I need to spring clean. Been putting it off.
Like Ruth, I also went to our No Kings March. It was cold and windy. Luckily it was sunny. I became stiff standing and not much walking around. Took awhile for my hands and fingers to thaw out.
Later I went for my walk. I was still a little stiff but walking much better by the end.

Wonderland, I like cats but DH despises them. I'll be like Ruth and wait a few years.
Did errands Saturday, got in a walk, and prepped for Sunday visit to MIL's house.

I had a very fun Sunday. When GS was young, "The Lord of the Rings" books & movies were 'our thing'. Yesterday he treated me to a performance of 'The Music of The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit & The Ring of Power' which was being performed at a historic old theater 100 miles away. The orchestra that presents the concert tours internationally & they are from the Ukraine. So that was very neat & it was great fun to spend mom/son time too.
I'm going to Zumba & HIT today.

Badger: I hated cats until we got one 43 years ago. I've been hooked on them ever since. Ours have always been stray cats or cats from the animal shelter.
Ruth: What an entertaining and delightful way to have time alone with your son. Not only at the concert but also in the long car ride. Lots of conversations happen in the car.
I have been changing my email address with all my contacts and it's been a job. My old address has been giving me trouble so I'm not going to use it anymore. Some websites have been easy to change to the new email while others have not been easy. I'm 99% done but I'm sure I haven't gotten all of them. Luckily I keep a record of the majority of my logins and passwords of the obvious websites (banking, monthly bill accounts, etc.) but also websites l don't regularly visit but want to continue communication from them.
Walked yesterday and today.

Ruth, that is way cool!😎
Wonderland, sadly, cats are non-negotiable. I keep a list of user names & passwords for our accounts in a binder with other important documents. I’m making my MIL do it, too. DH is the executor of her will and neither of them are as organized as me.
Worked late yesterday but took a quick walk after supper. This afternoon, I went shopping for a fancy dress for a family wedding next month then hit the gym.

I went to LIFT this morning & the grandpuppies have been hanging out at our house since noon. DS & DIL had some out-of-town appointments but will be back sometime this evening. I think I will have DH take them for a ride so I can make dinner in peace!.

Badger: Great minds think alike. Many years ago I started a 3 ring binder with important information for my kids to know about the will, bank account, how I pay for bills, etc. etc. etc. I update it as needed. The father of a friend of mine died and my friend had no information about accounts, etc. My friend had to go to different banks and ask if his father had accounts there. I've heard of stories just like that and I knew I needed to make my binder and keep it updated to the best of my ability.
Ruth: I'm trying to picture in my mind your dh riding around town with 5 big dogs. I see lots of tail wagging and hear lots of loud barking!
Walked this evening.

Got to the gym Sun/Mon/Tuesday woohoo.
Today was the first day this year I went to school with just a sweater - as in no coat! We are in a stretch of days with highs in the 80's, but usually the lows are still low enough that I need a lite coat in the morning…but today was already mid-60's pre-8am. Wow.
Happy April! TT

Been busy doing cleaning and whatnot here. The other day I walked the last bag of stuff up to Goodwill we decided we don't need anymore.

We may (or may not) get several FEET of snow in the next couple days! Here's the Wednesday Walking Women dressed in Easter Pastels.

FEET of snow😕
Got to Tai Chi at lunch yesterday…that makes 4 gym days this week which will be it for me this week. Today we'll walk to church for Maudy Thursday service. I might wear a mask as the pollen is soooo intense right now.
Happy Passover/Happy Easter to all.
Beautiful full moon last night - the April Pink Moon.

We got about 6 inches of snow between last night & this morning. Fortunately it's warm enough so it melted off well traveled roads & sidewalks. We are supposed to get another inch or 2 tonight & it will start snowing tomorrow noon & snow all the way through Saturday. (I'm glad I don't have out-of-town Easter plans!) Since we could still get around today; I went to HIT, took a dog walk, and will go to Dance2fit & Yoga too.
