Slept OK yesterday, got up today, was booking Paratransit for Wednesday but could not find the appointment sheet from the hospital. I guessed it was 130pm, I will call Monday to be sure but had to book trip today. I also have an echo on Friday. I will ask for a new sheet to be done up on Wednesday.
EDIT re appointment sheet, thought it was stupid to think I lost sheet, had looked in purse but not there but checked wee knapsack and it turned out to be there. Luckily I was correct on the 130 pm Herceptin time for Wednesday. I may have lots of bad luck but I do also have my fair share of good luck.
EDIT 2 I am not sure why procrastinated on the census, really was very short and easy online, I made sure to add the completion code to my phone in a picture and sticky note on laptop. Put sheet back in my purse as that is where I mentally remember to put it.
Nothing much going on, have the window fan on, down to 65 but not bothered by it. Feels pleasant due to a window fan I have and a large blanket being used. Doing census after breakfast and just doing chores, floors, laundry and possible blankets, I will see, want to take seat cover off other part of couch and put another blanket on. They are fleecy but as said, easier to wash blankets vs seat cushion cover.
I also decided to check on my court dates, if they do not interfere with treatment, I am just going to show up. I figure that it is far less stressful than repeatedly trying to get cop or crown attorney involved and there is no way they will not do a prescreening. In that case, I can explain my brain issues since 7 years ago and the first statement.
Sticking to more ordinary food again. I did have the bean, red lentil and canned lentil meal yesterday. No rice, it was very good, filling yes but not like overeating junk food. I was also careful about amounts of food. 1/4 cup each of the beans and canned lentils and 1/8th cup or two tbsp of the dried red lentils since they expand quite a bit. Used salad dressings to bind and added salt, sour cream and onion and gralic butter dry seasonings. To day need to incorporate eggs in meals as well, will post if good or bad.
EDIT for food, decided first meal will be the knorr fettucine alfredo. I added 2 tbsp of dried lentils, they do not change taste and they do add some fibre to the meal. Stirring every half hour, when it comes time, will add either plain yogurt or sour cream to make everything more creamy since no milk on hand.
I hope everyone has a good day, in pockets for all.

Great news Micmel!
Checking in after a long time away. Lookslike lots of long timers are facing new challenges. I hate hearing that, but I jnow tjis is a group of ladies who carry on an live life to the fullest.
After 10 years my mbc has changed to triplle negative. So, Im now on chemo for the first time. Not fun, but mostly manageable for now. I went from totally freaked out to occasionally freaked out…
Sending you all kind words and good mojo!

Iwrite, nice to hear from you. I am on chemo since January for the first time also after having been on orals for almost ten years. Yes, I freak out from time-to-time also. Some days I wonder whether I made the right decision, and others I am thankful to still be here.

@micmel I am very happy about that for you. Take every day as a gift that you have.
Got to admit I sort of wonder about that for me from the neck down as nothing has ever shown up from the chin down and the drugs never do cross the brain. May have to ask the MO what happens in a case like mine.

Happy Mother's Day to all that celebrate today. That includes pet Moms, too. Nothing like the love of a fur baby.
Still in Reading, Pa. Mostly visiting family and picnics. DH is doing lots of honey do items for sis. She's been alone for 20 years and her home (my Grandparents) needs a couple items done. I made her a rock garden. Nothing big but hopefully will make her smile.
@mara51506 Thinking of you and hoping they will not require your testimony. In our state we just need a doctor's note that will remove your from jury duty. I'm not sure if that will help you. Your are such a strong person that I know you will get past this. I love your attitude. As for enjoying being home, I sure understand that. Hope your area escaped that bad weather and any damage.
@micmel Oh what a Happy Mother's Day present!! You are an inspiration for all of us to keep our heads up. Hope your day was great.
@iwrite You carry quite a history of MBC. I had heard that stopping CDK 4/6 treatments for a month and then reintroducing the meds, has had some success. I hope that the medicine change will work and be kinder as you adapt. @intolight Here to support you with your journey, too. I imagine anyone would freak out after years of oral.
Hi to all the lovely ladies here and I am in your pockets for scans and life's trials.

@mara51506 I understand your anxieties of going out and you do a fantastic job of balancing it all. I feel you just have to follow your heart and do what feels right for you! Glad your census is done and it was easy, I feel like most times what we procrastinate about winds up being better than expected. Ok, didn’t realize that event was 7 years ago. It will all work out, a lot had happened in your life since then so nobody will expect you to remember many details.
@candy-678 Glad to hear things are going pretty well with Enhertu. It’s all so scary when you start a new drug as they all have widely different side effects. I pray things remain doable for you and you feel better this week to get some things done!
@micmel Wow!! Best news ever, we are all so happy for you!!You and your family have been through it and you all deserve a break!
@threetree Congrats on great scan results and Xeloda doing it’s job! Now if you can have a little less fatigue that would be great 🤞🏻
@iwrite Sorry you’re dealing with chemo again, I’m also triple negative but always have been. I hope this treatment kicks butt for you 🤞🏻
Scan week for me, today and Friday, fingers crossed that all is still quiet. In all pockets as we navigate the week ahead❤️

Hope every one had a good Mother's Day. We had brunch with our local DD and family at Cheesecake Factory. Been years since I’ve been there and the food was great. Then spent the afternoon sipping wine and catching up w/DD.
MIcmel - congrats on the great news🎉🎉.
Here for pocket duty for all in need. Sending wishes for a good week.

Yesterday, I finally got enough energy to call Best Buy about my computer problem, and a very nice gentleman walked me through reconnecting the keyboard with the monitor. It was very complicated with many steps, but it worked, so I am actually typing this from my computer and not phone. What a huge difference and relief. I can see/read so much better, and not so tiny and tedious phone typing with my arthritic fingers now. This all started with a Microsoft update. After the update, my keyboard had become disconnected. The first time it happened, I was able to find a solution on my own, but then it happened again about two months later with another update. I read online that it's not uncommon for these Microsoft updates to cause this to happen (I just got this computer about a year ago, so all different than previous). I asked the guy from Best Buy if this was true about the Microsoft updates, and he said yes, that it happens frequently. I sure hope I don't have to start calling Best Buy routinely whenever there is an update! I can't believe Microsoft can't find a way to fix that issue from ever happening in the first place.
Well happy Monday morning to all. It's mostly sunny here and in the 60's, so rather pleasant. I'm starting to have some "spells" where I feel a bit better and have a little more energy. I just hope it continues for a long, long time!

@threetree-I had to use the Best Buy geek squad last summer on two occasions with different computers. I was so resistant because I like to figure things out myself but their service was great! The techs were so nice and respectful and it's such a relief to have the computer working again. Glad yours is working again.
My ANC dipped to .5 so I had to go off Ibrance for about 10 days. Hope my counts are up today so I can start a new cycle. I wound up with a bad cold this weekend but am feeling better today. It was disappointing because I had tickets to "Stars on Ice" and the symphony but couldn't go. At least I was able to sell the ice show tickets so it wasn't a total loss.
Hope that everyone has a good week.

@chicagoan - Thanks for sharing your Best Buy experience - it's good to know it was so positive, as was mine. I've always been "signed up" with Geek Squad, but never had to actually call them. This was a first. I had taken my old laptop in a couple of times, but this is an "all-in-one" and there was no way I was going to pack this whole system up and take it into the store. Too much for me these days.
So sorry to hear about your Ibrance issue and your not feeling well. Stars on Ice and the symphony both sound like they would have been wonderful; what a shame, but glad you are OK and getting better.
Here's to you having a good week too!

@threetree @chicagoan glad you both have working computers again, I would be lost without mine.
Nothing happening today again but will be busy rest of the week. Wednesday, Herceptin, Thursday, mall trip, I can try to maintain it and Friday is my routine Echo. All are in the afternoon. Waiting to hear from Paratransit for my Friday trip.
I did get my call the Paratransit is set up for all appointments.
The officer involved with the murder trial called me and listened to my concerns about lack of memory of what date bloody clothes left in the backyard. My mom was still alive so I know was before Jan 19 of 2019. He said he will get me a copy of my statement in couple of weeks. I did check and even if I was required for entire trial, it would not interfere with appointments or scans so that is good.
I do not know what I want to eat, getting tired of everything honestly but still eating through my pantry, freezer and fridge. Got lots of seasoning too. Debating on egg and diced potatoes and adding lentils. Beans are not so much of my jam, need to chop them to make them a smaller texture like the lentils. I will find other stuff to make. May also order the mini pizzas from Walmart. If not, just get a full size one. I am thinking about microwaving an egg or too with some beans added to it. Bring over to the chopper and chop up the eggs, beans with some cheese, dump into the air fryer and stir a few times. Not adding queso until after the food goes through the air fryer as I found last time that was done, was practically soup which was not the best. It did taste good.
Decided to order an egg mcmuffin meal, sml tea and two hashbrowns which reminds me to make an order for hashbrowns from Walmart. Going to just have groceries delivered and still book a mall walk periodically. I will stay in my own pocket to head out for the mall walk trip as well. I will also offer grace for myself if I do not go. I have two trips for the hospital anyway so that gets me out.
EDIT got the McDouble meal, no pickles, ketchup or mustard, some big mac condiments again and some peanut butter and butter condiments as they were free. Only thing that was not free were the big mac condiments..
I hope all have a good day and in pockets for all.

@mara51506 In your pocket for herceptin today and glad you planned another outing. Well so much time has passed since that event and that will be taken into consideration I'm sure. Hoping for the least amount of stress posible!

@cookie54 I told myself going to the courthouse should not be a big deal when compared to having brain surgery and I did not see anything too horrible to have to relive. Just a bloody shirt, feel bad for the person killed that is about it.
Looking forward to getting out of the house today even if for Herceptin. I will try not to talk too much, I get carried away. I have a friend who wants to go for a drive on Saturday, sounds like a good day, known her since trained her at the call centre we worked at which dealt with American credit card since 2006 then it closed in 2011 and I wound up working from home, same company but taking calls for a prepaid cell phone group. Did that from 2011 to 2016 before having to leave due to the brain met.
I was weighed at the cancer clinic, lost another 5 pounds, not through effort or exercise. Not sure what difference is but that is ok with me.I still eat quite a bit.
I think I will have a couple of eggs, mini pot pies, 2 of them, microwave 5 mins and cut up and eat, nothing complicated. Then I can eat that up, have plenty of time to get ready. This meal was good, did not keep the meat pies in but did eat leftovers of pasta with beef and tomato, one egg and rest of the lentils, put mayochup, cross between ketchup and mayo. It was nice.
Probably have some Mcdonalds. Not sure what type of meal I want as of yet but that is my craving.
I hope everyone will have a good day and I am in everyone's pocket as well.
