WoW, Christine...I T A L Y!!!!! That would be such a great trip. You will love Italy. Any thoughts on where in Italy? I've only been to Como, Venice, and Rome. Venice is my favorite place in the world--even more so than Las Vegas! Good luck! Sounds like you've got the perfect traveling companion!!! hugggssss! junie

Christine - GO TO ITALY!!! You will absolutely frickin' love it!!! Now, I've ONLY been to Rome but it was great. If you go definitely take the time to see the Vatican Museum!

And Vickie, Sc**w Her! I think she's either jealous or wants to get into your pants! Either way, just ignore her. Unless, of course, you want to get into her pants. Whatever it takes I say!

Me, I'm just totally frickin' psyched about my trip! I'll report back when I can! Have fun drinking without me!

WOW Cy- I saw that snow last night on Mon night Football. That is real football and true fans! We (Rams) now play in a Dome, not like the old days whens the Cardinals were here and played in he old Busch Stadium- outdoors!

Janis, I am jealous of your trip. Is there a reason you chose that destination? It sounds adventurous and awesome!

Just think how the cheerleaders were feeling out there in the little uniforms in that bitterly cold snow & wind!
Not me I was safe at home with a fire going!

Well, I say screw the cheerleaders in their little uniforms. At least they still have their headlights to show off. LOL!!!

A former girlfriend(now wife) of the MVP of the High School Football team who never appreciated the cute, little cheerleaders. Oh, did I mention that I'm never jealous.

I was once a cheerleader, lets see that was back in ??? Thrird Grade! I was too busy with Band & JROTC in Jr & Senior High! Not to mention my parents would not let me out of the house is my skirt was more than three inches above my knee! So I had a lot of Maxi skirts It was easier than fighting the parents! especially since the stores didn't sell regular skirts that were long enough from my long legs!

    Hi Buds ~

Working from home today. It's been sleeting and freezing rain in Tulsa for about 10 hours now. And supposedly, tonight we'll get snow on top of it. YUCK! My toy car is virtually useless.

Anyone every try Pavilion Cab? Drank about half a bottle last night, and for $10, not a bad bottle of wine. (is there such a thing? )

Anywho - I sure hope Janis is thinking of all of us stuck in the ice and snow while's she's cavorting around Guatemala.

Thank GOD I have another bottle of wine and some Irish Creme to get me through the long, cold night. Have plans with BF tonight but have a feeling our date will be postponed, as he lives 50 miles away, and the highways and streets are sheets of ice.

So you sistas who are enjoying the lovely weather here in the Midwest - refrain from driving unless it's an absolute emergency run to the licka sto

    Cheers!

    Hey Donna!

I've been watching CNN here at work. You guys are really getting hammered by that storm!! I hope it doesn't come my way, although I'm sure it will. I have several cases of wine in the basement, so I don't need to go to the licka sto . DH hates the snow, but I don't mind being snowed in for a little while, as long as I have food and drink!!

It's good to be back after the holiday. I didn't get too drunk on Thanksgiving, although my sister totally passed out. She likes to mix Lexapro and Chardonney. She never lasts long! It sounds like everyone is having a good time. I hope Janis is livin' it up in Guatamala!!

Well, cheers drinkin' buds. I'll be heading home soon for my Thursday night Martini!

Wish I could say I was snowed in, but we are too busy at the restaurant with all of the holiday parties comin up. AAArrrggghh! Gotta get there, thru the ice and snow (do I sound like a mail carrier, lol)
There's nothing I liked better, than heading to the neighborhood bar, when snowed in. My "corner" bar has a great fireplace. Those were the good ol days.

I actually got out of my apt yesterday and today after being stuck since Wed afternoon. For some reason when I don't have access to wheels, I suddenly need to get out!!

Been working on packing boxes to move next weekend. Hopefully, I've have better weather than the ex did - he had to move this weekend in the frigid cold, ice & snow.

Had a little nip of Hot Damn earlier - now that'll warm ya right up!

    Cheers!!

I KNOW hot damn would give me a hot flash. Friggin pudding commercials give me hot flashes for crying out loud.
It has been quiet in here...need to liven things up a bit.
Hope you have an easy time moving next weekend Donna. Glad your ex got the storm and not you. Cabin fever sucks...
    Hugs all

Cabin fever - I was stuck not driving for three weeks after my expander surgery, knocked me into a full blown depression. Even getting out for a walk or my weekly appts. didn't help. Must have freedom and wheels to goooo....

    Great idea Shel-
We could call it our Holiday Cheers Party or the Holiday Punch Bowl?
Been so busy, as I am up on a ladder, putting up my lights, one of my clients calls to increase the party we are catering on Thurs, add one hundred! Up to 600, the biggest party I do all year. I guess I am glad she has my cell number? Gotta run for now, I'll be back later, with a beverage.
Oh Donna- my friends used to live on Hot Damn to wash down their Miller Lite, now they are into the Cherry Bombs. I am not a shot gal, but I like the taste of both of them (I even like the taste of Jaeger, but know better than to touch that)

You sound good, Shel. It's so nice to see you around.

Shel...good to see you...we miss you when your not here. It's been a bit quiet lately and I think we need to set up a time to all be here together and have a good old fashion drinking, whining, joking, fun party...what do you say ladies.
I'm alway home at night...little guy goes to bed at 8 and the only night I watch tv is when Grey's Anatomy is on...is that Wednesdays or Thursdays??? Chemo brain strikes again. I can't even spell anymore and when I do spell something right I end up thinking it looks wrong...weird stuff.
I think Hot Damn tastes like cinnamon...kind of like the little red cinnamon hearts that you an buy that are kind fo hot...not entirely sure though.

Yes, Hot Damn tastes like cinnamon. The only time I can tolerate the "heat" is if I'm REALLY cold, which is hardly ever these days, as I can also get a hot flash watching a pudding commercial!

I am SO stressed today! If I EVER even THINK about trying to remodel a house, WHILE moving, WHILE getting ready for a vacation RIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS, just go ahead and shoot me.

Geez! I'm visiting with the Captain now....Morgan that is.

Shel - glad you didn't go in the ditch! That could ruin a day real quick.

    Cheers,

    Donna

Donna never ever move remodel and get ready for a vacation again!

    Shel glad you're OK!

Lini is it winter in CA yet? I miss winter in CA, it's a lot warmer than winter in Seattle!

Ok had to go back and fix a bunch of typos and I've only had one glass of Zin tonight!

Time for this old creeky body to go to bed!
    nite all!

Boy, things really are quiet here lately. I guess we are all busy with Holiday Stuff. I haven't had much time to do seroius drinking lately, although when everyone is here for Christmas, I will more than make up for it. I think I am going to make pitchers of Cosmos and Pomagranet Martinis.

    Cheers all!

Seems like i bumbled into a board of drinking fun ladies. I am one of the few male BC survivors(one year) and have been afraid to drink since i came down with BC. Looks like i was being to overprotective of my self. I sure would love to join all you ladies for a drink to the happy holiday season.
