how about drinking?

The research theorizing a link between alcohol and breast cancer is only for ER+, as the reasoning is that alcohol impairs the liver's ability to clear estrogen from the bloodstream. But by that logic, it would also impair the liver's ability to secrete aromatase--which enzyme is necessary for the conversion of androgen to estrogen in postmenopausal women. (And again, it hasn't been proven--just statistical "evidence," not even a correlation, much less causation). Anyway, if you have triple-neg, I'm not sure why your MO told you to limit it to one drink a day---unless it's because during chemo you probably wouldn't be able to stomach alcohol, much less enjoy it.

NM, that was quite the ordeal you experienced, I'm sorry about that. Not sure when I'm due for another scope. That contrast they give with a CT scan always makes me throw up.
Cami, I have put green olives on my burger, or sometimes just have em on the side. Glad that Les and Marty got to go out for a bit.
Jazzy, those are some late hours girl, glad they are done now. Hopefully get caught up on your sleep.
JCS, welcome to the HTL aka Hot Tatties Lounge. Pull up a bar stool and let one of the Tenders bring you a drink of your choice.
Gigi, been to cold here for me to do anything outside. Glad you got to get out and enjoy it, just be careful you don't over do it.
DH has a doctor appt. this morning, gonna be a muddy mess driving out of here, not looking forward to it!

Good Morning, Loungettes!Happy Monkey Day!Brrrr, it's a bit chilly, here, temp is 11 degrees, minus 8 with the wind chill factored in. Flipping cold! Sadie was a great bed warmer last night. And, of course, more weather coming in tomorrow and Wednesday. Sigh.
Cammy--I don't know why they use what they use for those preps, but you can bet this chicky is not going to drink that stuff ever again. LOL, can't read your own writing!I have that problem, too, especially if I'm tired or writing in a hurry. So nice you got a doggy cuddle! Glad to hear the Dara is busy.
Jazzy--So glad the midnight work is over for you! Hot springs and a Yoga retreat and an ocean trip, what wonderful weekends you have planned!I will definitely be doing a different prep next time, IF I ever scheduled another colonoscopy. So not worth what I went through.
JCSLibrarian--welcome to the Lounge! I'm guessing the MO thought you drank that much every day! Limiting alcohol during chemo seems wise. There are lots of opinions and mine is that until medicine can tell me with confidence exactly how I got bc in the first place they can't blame anything I do or did and they can't tell me for sure that if I never drink again I'll never die. Of anything.
Gigi--rocking chair on the porch, what fun! Watching the neighborhood activities, getting outside must have been nice!
Chi--good points.
Goldie--thanks for the sympathy.
DOTD--a classic:

hello ladies!
I have been reading but not posting. I can’t see what I’m typing half the time, since my surgery my eyes have not been the same but I refuse to go to another doctor appointment to deal with my vision! I have enough of them...3 next week including the big scary oncology appointment.
70 degrees here in South Carolina today, and I did put my toes in the ocean on NYE but just my toes. Had a great time, tasted a bunch of red wines which was fun and drank a really nice Chardonnay. My wine preferences are evolving...I’m drawn to buttery whites and all different reds while I used to be a Sauvignon Blanc girl.
Had my 23rd wedding anniversary yesterday. The hubby has been great through this “journey”, it was a special day. He actually went and bought me a big stack of non underwire bras from Soma...I’d been complaining about my bra woes post surgery. They are so soft and are so non-surgical looking! We went to dinner Saturday night in downtown Charleston and I had great food with a nice smoky spicy margarita type drink and...a buttery Chardonnay!
Re:all things colons...I know I’m going to be due for this soon, my dad had colon cancer in his 50’s.
Welcome to our new friends..JCS and Gigi. I’m a newbie too but feel so welcomed by this group!
Went back to work part of last week and a half day today, I’m tired friends. 4 hrs seems to be my max and if I work I can’t exercise that day. That’s going to need to change soon! Someone from Cleaning for a Reason is here doing my house today so I’m resting in my recliner happily!
Love to all

Mornin' Ladies,
WELCOME JCS sorry ur here, but this is a good place. I don't know if u like old shows or new, but comedy seems to be my biggest thing too. I'm home all the time mostly so TV is my coping, I did get Netflix and Hulu ro help with my choices. I actually like mostly old comedies better than the new ones. AND I haven't had a drink in over 20 years and cancer came to me so...... enjoy
All right Jazzy u gadabout girl I enjoy u planning ur trips then the pics after so go and enjoy.
Gigi good or u to be outside, well when it's nice anyway--sounds so relaxing...there's no getting out around here yet.,
Sandy u always have such good answers for everyone Thank you.
Lori how is ur DH doing. U 2 make so many trips to see a Dr. and so far. unbelievable.
Kim great DOTD <drink of the day, just in case> U know I'm always thinking about drinking,,,so far a bottle of brandy never opened, red wine, never opened, small bottle of Kahlua, never opened and of course some beer but someone always drinks that oh did have a sip of champagne on New years. I'm getting there.
Wiggin' itt seemed like after chemo I felt great for about 3 days, must have been the steroids---but then I went down hill, as soon as I was feeling better, it was time for another chemo. Oiy Good Luck

I had my hairdresser shave my head today. The hair was coming out in HUGE clumps and you could see my scalp in spots. So far husband and one son have seen me and been ok with it. I will have to work on the makeup so I do not look too sickly. I am going wig shopping tomorrow with a friend. All of this will take some getting used to. I may have more than my one glass of wine tonight. Or that one glass may be in a 12 oz tumbler. I watched the awards show last night and was thrilled to see the Kominsky Effect win several awards. It is a funny series on Netflix that I hope has more seasons planned. Sounds like folks are doing well in spite of this “thing” we all share. Hope it continues for all

Good Morning, Loungettes!Happy Twofer Tuesday! Waking up to some snow this ayem. Not supposed to amount to a whole lot this time around, may turn to rain later today. Yuck. Not much to be done about it but cope, right?Sadie says Hi to everyone.
Wigging--don't blame you for not wanting another doctor's appointment right now. I remember hating that phase when my life seemed to revolve around doctor's appointments. Glad your hubby found some comfy bras, those little things make a big difference. And Happy Anniversary Number 23!
Cammy--sounds like you've got quite a likker cabinet going there! At least you know it won't go bad on you.
Librarian--Hugs. Getting the hair shaved must be a big step for you. Nothing wrong with a 12 ounce glass of wine in my mind!

NM, that Blue Monday seems to be very close to a Blue Hawaii, we had them when we were in HI, so yummy. That cold weather must be what we had and it's made it's way NE!
Wiggy, sorry about the eyes and all the doc appts. We can all surely relate to that! Happy Anniversary to you and your DH. And how sweet of him to go out and get you bras!
Cami, DH is fine. They did urine, labs and prostate check, I'm sure all will be ok. Joey must be back in school?
JCS, sorry about the head shave, unfortunatley it's what we must endure. Dealing with no hair on the head wasn't too bad, as I still had eyebrows and eyelashes, however Taxol took care of that. That's when I looked bad.
Haaaaaa, I love it....Tuesday Boozeday!

I enjoyed the trip to Branson Missouri with my daughter and granddaughters. We were busy doing something everyday, the kids said they liked going hiking the best, it just goes to show that kids still like the free stuff the best and we spend all this money trying to entertain them. We did have fun and seen a lot of shows and talented people. I am glad that I went. Now its tying to keep up with the house inside and outside by myself. So many things were left half done when my husband passed I think I need to hire someone to help me get it all finished. My son keeps telling me he will help me, but he is so busy with his business and family that I don't want to ask him.
I bought chocolate wine at the grocery store because it was buy one get one free. I actually like it. I did not think I would. I may decide to keep the "free" one instead of giving it to my sister like I originally planned.
Hope everyone has some good times and happiness in the New Year!

MY DAHHHLINKS,
Sorry I missed some days, but I have read the last page and will respond. 1st have to share my horrid experience on Sat b4 Xmas. We were all gathered at my son's. I had 1 vodka drink (with rootbeer), then nephew offered me a hit off his mj vape. No prob…well it was a prob cuz I took toooo big a hit. And his mj is a lot stronger than anything I've used. Long story short….puked my dinner up, passed out, came to as the paramedics were loading me in the ambulance. I kept trying to tell them I'd be ok in about 30 mins but no one was listening. So, son and daug, and hubs came to hosp. Kept telling kids to go back and finish the gift exchange, etc. NOPE, they wudn't leave me. My BP was dangerously low, so they iv'd me with whatever and kept me for about 2 hours. Was so glad to get back to my sons….we finished xmas and all was good. Am glad we were at my sons as I had a change of clothes there. Cudn't wait to get the pukey, smelly clothes off me. Anyway, that's my xmas story…
Lowee - I love coconut, the Pink Bikini looks yummy! WOW WOW WOW…ur avatar pic is BEE-U-T-FUL. I miss u!!
NM - OMG…what a nightmare…I have thrown up on the prep many times. It's not a 'feel good' moment at all!!! And the IV I'd have been crying the whole time as I hate needles and those times when the idiots try my hand or foot…I BITCH til they go back to my arm. Gawd….how I hate it…and ur's finally in ur neck, I'd have passed out….seriously. I am glad that is over for you…XOXOXO
Jazz - so glad to hear of ur future trips…I'd have no complaints either….ENJOY!!! And YES lots of water is a must in arid parts of the country.
JCS - I am an alcoholic…defined as 'can't go 24 hrs without a drink' I have 2 to 3 drinks a day. Got to have at least one each day. All good with my 'rat bastard'. My breast surgeon asked me, I was honest, and she told me 'no more than 1 glass of wine per day'. Well I can't drink wine…so my killa is the substitute (killa = tequila). Jes pay attn to ur body and go from there. Oh and TV…I used to b into crime shows, now I try to keeps' my shows to Golden Girls, Mash, game shows. I've had to shave my head 3 times in 7 yrs, eyelashes, brows, hair have not grown back. Tis what it is…Sending love and prayers!
Gigi - is does feel good to be outside and get some sunshine. My dh really pushes that on me, which is OK. I have little pooches too…get my perm ones on the 23rd. Guess he is goin to take some fat from mese belly too. I'm not sure about that, but gonna go with it anyway. Good luck and God bless.
Sandy - Thank you…u always have the 411 on things that we need to kno! U're da bestest brestie!!
Wigging - CONGRATS on ur 23rd wedding anni. Hubs and I celebrated our 25th in October. He's my 2nd and I'm his 3rd. I am truly blest to have him and to have all the gals on this thread. Prayers going out to you and yours.
Cami - Seriously….not a drink in over 20 yrs….well I'm jealous…but good for you I jes love all your posts n think u r a very special lady….Lubs Ya!
Misty - sounds like u had a wonderful time with ur kids and gkids. And yes…Hire it out…you have enuf to deal with. Hire a housekeeper too. I did and I love it. I still deal with the day to day stuff, but crew takes care of dusting, sweeping and mopping. Good luck and sending prayers your way.

Good Morning, Loungettes!Happy Hump Day! Yesterday's snow has gone through the sleet and rain, now what little snow is left is very wet and slushy. Yuck. And apparently more winter weather coming over the weekend. Poor Sadie is having a hard time chasing the yard critters in the slush. And boy is her nose cold when she comes back in!
Goldie--That Tuesday Boozeday looks great!I treated myself to a slice of cheesecake with strawberry topping at lunch yesterday. It was yummy and I bet that drink is even yummier!
Misty--I bet that chocolate wine is very tasty! I hear you about needing help around the house. I've concluded that I need some help, too. So looking for affordable help. It's hard to realize that we can't manage a home all alone, isn't it?
Mema--oh my goodness, what a Christmas experience!Good thing you had a change of clothes at your son's! I was crying all through the IV ordeal. I wish I could have passed out when they were putting it in my neck, it hurt like crazy and I was terrified to move and barely dared to breathe.Right now I'm thinking I'm never going to have another scope, not going through that again. But we'll see what happens 5 years from now.

Mornin' Ladies,
Oh SusyQ what an awful time u had, I'm so sorry and I don't kow how u gals can put up with needles. As we get older our veins are crap <I think> but in the neck, Oh no no no. I kept my port and I don't feel a thing. But good u had a change of clothes---Wow what a hit u took, I didn't know that could happen. I'm just so happy to see u here, I always miss u. a nd always pray for you.
Ur vacay sounded great, GC are the best. I don't know if u have a cleaning service there who will come for cancer patients but here we have a few that don't charge anything, u can check that out if it helps And I'm sure u meant bigger jobs too, just relax and do things one at a time... It'll all get done. Things usually do.
Oh it's so hard that first time u get ur head shaved, I was lucky, my hair was so ugly it was a relief to get rid of it. The only thing I ever missed were my lashes, Once they were so long , now almost nothing. But as the girls know here I went to one app't with no hair anywhere and put a light bulb in my mouth and announced I was the Uncle on the Adams family, cuz I looked like him. Now my DD has gone thru a horrible time starting with her hair, that was very hard on her.. So it is different on everyone I always wore hats and scarves with huge earrings, well especially when I worked but not around the house. And when it did start coming in the nurses at chemo would like to spike it for me. silly nurses.
Lori yes Joey is back in school and it's always so sad for me and that's just awful that I'm so selfish cuz of course I get more time with him. Now he has so much homework and I can't help him anymore, but he's serious about it. Jee he even makes his bed every morning---I guess he is kinda nerdy. But I still miss him. LOL
Kim don't just say hi to Sadie for me, give her a great big hug. I love how u 2 get along. Our dog only lays with me when no one else is available, I miss my cat.
Sandy my cousins GS is opening another "Fry the coop" restaurant in Chicago by Ohio st. This will be his third, it's really going well for him. I think it's near grand someplace---just chicken I don't know how far that is for you. But he got some kind of vote that he has the best chicken sandwich. He has one in OakLawn, and another in Elmhurst going well. I'm really happy for him. And my GD works in Elmhurst and she loves him, she said everyone does. Oh well
I've been very busy with furnaces mostly late last nite and started at 6am. Which I'm glad for my boss but not me, One of the guys stopped over to show me his new puppy, and another came over last nite for a little while, so that was nice. Dan brings his dog over sometimes and he's so attached to him and so sweet. A huge German Shepherd, but so loving. So I was busy yesterday. Exciting right. I feel naps coming on even with coffee.
I wish everyone a great day.
LUBS U ALL.

Morning all,
NM, I hate IV’s and in the neck, yikes! I had to vision issues after chemo and had to have my tear ducts flushed, there’s a mental torture device. They insert little metal wires into the tears duct holes, I can barely handle eye drops, I cussed them all out, lol (dr. and group of college kids, teaching hospital).
Cami, I may have posted this before but here’s an uncle fester pic I made at work, I didn’t mind bald.

Popping in ladies to read/stalk/lurk.
Ill, that is just the best photo to just find a bit of humor in the whole ugly ride. LMFAO

MemaSue56 well then I am an alcoholic, but functional, ha, lol. I drink everyday starting at or around 3 to 4ish in the afternoon. Since I have been diagnosed with breast cancer I have consumed more! I do the G&T or vodka & tonic. I stop around 7 to 8 at night. Just helps after a day at work, etc.
camillegal I am going to look into Fry the coop, since Lombard is right by Elmhurst. Is it better than Chick-fil-A? Kinda looks like it, since CFA is a chain. Kudos that he is so successful, tough in the food industry!
Well my hair is thinning don't know if it is due to age or to the radiation treatments I had or whatever. I use to have thick full hair, now I have fine thin hair. Some women can pull off having their head shaved, I give you all credit for doing so!
illimae wow, what you went through and you look great! Ooo and a teaching hospital, you have guts!
I must go, see you all later! Time for a vodka tonic.....
0 -
Lomlin- the thinning of hair can come with estrogen. I have a full hysterectomy right before my bc surgery and then went on aromtase inhibitors for five years for ER positive cancer from 2013-2018. I did not notice it right away but the last year on the AIs (finished almost a year ago), I noticed how thin my hair was on top, and when I wash my hair, it feels thicker on the sides and back. It's been growing in more off the meds but still thicker in those areas and my stylist said it just is something that happens for women but can be exacerbated by lots of medications.
I finally cut my hair shorter last November to be able to keep it more balanced looking and this is where I will stay. In another year or so when I turn 60, I am letting go of coloring my hair and going grey. I am going to embrace my old crone look!

Misty, so glad you went to MO with your DD and grand, just knew you would have a good time and much needed as well. Chocolate wine……hmmmm!
LDB OMG, you poor thing, they called an ambulance for you? You must have really skeered them. Glad you are ok. Did you find out when your last chemo will be? Thank you for the kind words on my avatar.
NM, I posted the drink mostly cuz I like the "Tuesday Boozeday".Sound like mud season is coming early or coming twice? I'm so so sorry about what you had to endure for the scope and that it had you in tears. Hugs for you.
Cami, I too missed my lashes the most, I think we look like burn victims when we are hairless. Joey is amazing, I just can't get over how kind, thoughtful and loving he is. Wow, a third restaurant for you cousin, that is great!
Illimae, having those ducts in your eyes opened up, sounds horrible! Love your Uncle Fester picture. I used to call my son that when he was first born, no hair on that child at all.
LomLin, are you doing chemo? I wouldn't think that radiation would cause your hair to fall out, unless you are doing brain radiation. I shaved my head when hair started falling out, and I had long hair. I'll post a pic at the end of my post.
Jazzy, you rock the short hair styles. My hair has always been long, but I just can't do the gray, just can't!

Good Morning, Loungettes! Happy Thirsty Thursday! Boy did the driving get messy yesterday. Started with snow, changed to sleet, then rain, then back to sleet, then back to snow again. All the melt off that the rain created froze up overnight when the temperature dropped again. My back deck has a layer of ice under a layer of snow with another thin ice crust on top. Going to be great fun to clear that off today. The new snow is showing lots of prints of critters in the front and back yard, so Sadie's been barking at all sorts of things from deer to rabbit to squirrel, to mice. No wonder she's so tired at night!
Cammy--Losing the hair must be a bit different for everyone. I think it would totally devastate me. I can just picture you with a lightbulb in your mouth playing Uncle! Too funny! I just gave Sadie a big hug from you, and she's already come back asking for another one. So she'll get a whole bunch of hugs from you today. I can imagine you miss your cat quite a bit. I bet work is busy this time of year. So nice the guy brought his puppy over to visit! That must have been fun. Oh my, I am going to dream of handsome men tonight!!!
Illi--oh my good Lord, that tear duct procedure sounds like pure H - E - Double Hockey Sticks! I don't think I could deal with that, at all. And in front of a whole room full of people? Even worse. The pics are fantastic!
Jazzy--Good Morning!
LomLin--If having a drink almost every day makes one an alcoholic then I guess I must be one, too. I do enjoy my adult beverage, usually a glass of wine, after work on work days, with dinner on non-work days. That Vodka Tonic looks very, very light and citrusy, and I love citrusy! Do you used flavored Vodkas?
Jazzy--good to know about the hair loss. I've been attributing my hair thinning on top to lasting effect of the AI, but nature probably has a lot to do with it. My Mom has quite a bit of thinning on top, too and she never had cancer or cancer treatment. As to going grey, I wish I would get the pure white grey that other women in my family have gotten. Not going to bother to color it anyway. I figure I've earned this grey hair!
Goldie--I like the name "Tuesday Boozeday" too!Actually, I often pick my DOTD based on the name or the picture. Mud season is still a ways off, during winter we can get a lot of temperature swings and melt run off and some mud, but when it freezes up again overnight it's not a big problem. In the spring when it stops freezing up again over night is when mud season really begins and we are dealing with ankle deep or even knee deep mud in places, and mud EVERYWHERE. Fortunately mud season only lasts a month or two. I think my hair is almost as long as yours was! The wig looked great on you.

The tear ducts are good but it was scary. To be fair, the “teaching hospital” was MD Anderson and I had those kids laughing, asking what kind of freaks get into a profession where they poke people in the eyes and calling them assholes, lol

Morning everyone! Y’all are making me thirsty! Fixing to get my second treatment here shortly. Waiting to see the dr then the party starts. Can’t wait to see the results of this bloodwork! Should be rocking! I was good this past week so I could be bad! Yup had me some adult beverages everyday, but within reason. Atevery healthy, drank plenty of water to keep the system fresh and flushed! I know my experience will be as good today as it was lastvweek👊👍! Fill ya in later. Party is about to start here! Later, have a great Thirsty Thursday! 🥃🍺🏖⛱

NativeMaine… No flavored vodka. However I put blackberries in it, to add a more natural flavor. Sometimes, lemon, lime or even a cucumber. Just depends. Even cherry bombs (soaked in grain alcohol - store bought) I don't care for the flavored vodkas because they just taste natural. Oh, and sometimes I put cilantro in it. You can regulate the flavor by how much you put in your drink. Or combo it up, it's fun. Oh strawberries, too. Plus it looks pretty.
Here is one with the cherries....
goldie0827 wow you had some nice long hair! No chemo here, it's probably a combo of hormones and age.
I am 64 and my hair is just now turning a bit more grey. I quit coloring it about 5 years ago, too much of a pain to keep up. My hair has no style, it just hangs! It's long, I don't like short hair on me.

Hey yall! On the couch chilling! It was another great day! Tx was flawless! The numbing cream on the port is the way to go! 4 vials of blood!!!! Bloodwork was great! Guess all if the extra veggie eating & water/lemon drinking helped! As I say, “You got to be good, to be bad😘”! 2 down and 10 to go! Tx will be 1 1/2 hrs from now on. Actually worked while in the recliner today! And Yup I indulged in lots of water today so I could indulge in an adult beverage tonight! Btw it is gonna be colder than a well diggers ass in NC tonight! You know we r notused to the cold in the south! Bed time, work tomorrow! I’ll be in touch! Take care! “Stay thirsty my friends”! 🍺🥃⛱🏖

Gigi- colder than a well diggers ass, now that is funny!

My new favorite drink for winter is any kind of spicy tequila drink. It’s restaurant week here in Charleston so I’m enjoying a couple nice meals out with some creative cocktails. Tonight I had a soicy tequila drink with orange and cinnamon. It had one of those big huge single ice cubes in it. I felt so sophisticated!
I’m enjoying the pictures of you ladies with and without hair! I’ll find out about chemo on Tuesday. I have always loved my hair so I’m really grieving knowing either the chemo and/or tamoxifen is going to ruin it. It’s the one thing I’m pretty vain about. Guess that’ll teach me to be vain huh?
I’m just noticing that some of you are from the Chicago area. I’m originally from Illinois and have family in the quad cities IL. My college roomies were all Chicago ladies. I haven’t been to the area in a couple years but maybe we can meet up the next time. The last time I was there. I saw Adam Lambert+Queen at the United Center. Fun show!
Cheers, hugs, and goodnight to all!

Good Morning, Loungettes!Happy TGIF day! It's come off pretty cold here this ayem, just enough breeze to make the 13 degrees feel a lot colder. Sadie was quick to get her business done this ayem and get back inside! At least it's sunny and making all the new snow and ice sparkly!
Illi--you are a better woman than I am if you can be joking while they are poking things in your eyes!
Gigi--I am so glad your treatments are going well! Praying they all go as well as the first.
LomLin--Flavoring your own vodka is probably the best way to go, like you say, control over the flavor, and ability to mix things up. The cherries look so pretty!
Gigi--Never heard the colder than a well diggers ass! I've heard of it being colder than a witches twat (colder than a witches tit being the polite version).
Morning, Jazzy!
Wigging--Those drinks do sound very sophisticated!Orange and cinnamon is a great sounding combo!
NM's DOTD:
Sophisticated Lady

- 1 ounce Simple Syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Ice

NM, I too go for the name of the drink, and try getting one that resembles something in our conversations. How are things going at work? I miss the drama! My paternal grandma had that white hair, but mine is def. grey. A month or two of mud is a month or two too many! Why can't it be summer all the time with temps about 75?
Gigi, that's a party none of us want to go to! LOL. At least by having weekly treatments, it will go by quicker than every 3 weeks. Took me 6 months to finish with chemo, that's a friggin long ass time! Glad all went well at the "party". I hope you continue to feel good during these treatments.
Lom, interesting items you add to your cocktails! My hair is long, and I don't like short hair on me either. My short wig I had was cute, but I would never be able to style it that way and probably take too much time!
Ha ha Jazzy and NM too, have never heard that phrase, colder than a well diggers ass?
Wiggy, spicey killya. I don't like anything spicey! My tummy just can't handle it, plus I don't like it. We can go to a Mexican restaurant and have the salsa, and my DH will say it's not too bad, I tastes it and my mouth is burning like cray cray. Odd how it reacts to different people. I too am a pretty vain person, but try not to show it! Nor do I think I look my age, nor do I want to be my age…..LOL!
NM, almost bumped you into the pewl! But it is nice and warm. I don't want to see any snow or ice, no matter how sparkly and I do not like the cold. Guess I lived in MI for too long, just not a fan. Do I sound like a cry baby? Well, I am one!
Ok, a couple of you from NC, Gigi and Wiggy.
And Chicago area is Cami, Sandy and Lom.
I think the world is about to end, DH has a cold! But all his prostate stuff came back negative. I got my appts. for scans, CT with contrast and nuclear bone, for Jan. 22, and see my onc on the 23.
NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS AT ALL, I'M SKEERED TO DEATH AS TO WHAT THEY WILL FIND.
